I know we'll still get it, it's too big of a franchise to be pushed aside. I hope. ph34r.gif

It will always be posted at earliest...a week before the ppv so i know the full match card. But this month, im just going to do the survivor series that i was planning from my previous fantasy wrestling events. I hope you all enjoy it when its posted...

But this month, im just going to do the survivor series that i was planning from my previous fantasy wrestling events. I hope you all enjoy it when its posted...

yeah thats alot less strenuous of a schedual for that type of this....plus my connection has been wonky for days, but id still like to help ya out with a match or two...just let me know....alot easier to get a couple in for a months time...it is fun to do a match or two...anyway i look forward to it

so anywhoo..about smackdown..

Good show overall....not a packed crowd, yet in new york so they were pretty good and into all of the matches pretty much....im liking cenas crowd reaction....he's gonna be a good face....he cut a mean freestyle on rey it was quite funny...he just really needs to lose that lame ass finisher....only saturn does a really really good DvD.

Team Lesnar... well.. should basically just be, Team LESNAR...and only him....besides bigshow, he basically has more talent and more everything else, than atrain, jones, and morgan combine....he should just fight himself....i love that standing vertical fisherman suplex hes been doing lately...great move.

i also hope they can actually spend a lil time with the story involving tajiri, jimmy yang, ryan sakoda, ultimo dragon, and jamie noble..thats too many good wrestlers not to spend a good deal of time on as far as im concerned.

survivor series looks really good so far im gonna get tanked and watch it for sure....old school matches as well as normal ones, and gimmick matches!....i think HHH will make his presense felt on raw before the series....for all the hhh haters that dont want to see him....what? would u rather see goldberg?...f*ck no.

btw thats a nice avatar kev....jericho owns everyone...but i think u made a mistake on "Jericho-holic"...i had a really dope pic of him holding both of the titles up during an older entrance...that would be cool if someone could whip that up in a dope ava/siggy

Well, I got HCTP, and this is the first time I've come off it in 2 days (free time). biggrin.gif

The graphics are slightly improved, and the shadowing on the bodies looks great. I must say though, Triple H looks awful. confused.gif

In my opinion, from what I have seen so far, I think Eddie Guerrero, Goldberg and surprisingly Kane look pretty damn good.

I started a Season as Eddie Guerrero (I can cheat and they like it! biggrin.gif ), and I've just past Summerslam. Season is a great improvement, and matches are longer and more challenging. Storylines also are a lot less randomised, and feuds carry through. I even got in a Pose Down with Triple H! biggrin.gif

Sound is probably the weakest point. No commentary, no voice overs, nothing. I wouldn't have minded so much if we didn't have to read every bit of speech in Season. confused.gif

And finally its Replay Value. This game could keep me entertained for days, and has. The Season is worth doing even if there was no unlockables, and the gameplay is always good.

So yeah, I love it.

A little late for you Americans, but there's my summary. wink.gif

Son of a bitch i hate this forum, i just typed up a long post and it went to a page cannot be displayed page and my entire message was erased...

Well, About Cena. I think that he should use his second special from smackdown in real life alot more. The spinningout powerbomb kicks ass man. He will make a really good face.

About my avatar, I had someone else make it, i just said to put jericho on it and make it blue, He put in jerichoholic, but it still kicks ass. I miss my old lesnar avatar that i had a few days ago, but the server went down.

About survivor series, i should have it posted some time next week. Im only on the first match which is a triple threat ladder match for the IC title. The other matches are two 10 man elimination tag matches, the 4 way hell in a cell, eddie vs chavo for the us title, edge vs christain(i just wanted to write a match with edge in it) the inferno match, and i cant remember the last one. Maybe i only had 7 im not sure, i think there was an 8th match though.

Oh my God...yet another wrestler has passed away. Crash Holly has died at the age of 34. He apparantely was partying all night with Steven Richards, they went to sleep for a while and then he woke up and choked on his own vomit. This all happened in the house of Steven Richards...its truly a traggic loss, and i cant believe that two wrestlers both died at fairly young ages. (Hawk 46, Crash 34).

yeah the crash holly thing hit me sorta wierd....it was the only one i actually thought might have been a joke for a minute...but its true....thats one of the most unfortunate things that can happen, as pretty much anyone here has fallen asleep drunk...well i hope...but this isnt something that happens all the time, although i heard he was a heavy alcoholic...then again that only makes it that much more of a shock...sh*tty news.

in other horrible news...i made money inc in the game aside from story mode...worked better, but its stupid cuz i cant get dibiase's tights or his entrance tux, which are the best goddamn things in the game!!...and it doesnt have his f*cking music!!ACK!!....anyway i just had to make my own version of the tights and my own money inc shirt...its still awesome

This is what I found..

Its sad and annoying how many people to do with Wrestling

have died this year.

Michael Lockwood, aka Crash Holly and Mad Mikey, was found dead today in Florida. He was 34. According to Dave Meltzer, he was found dead in Steven Richards' house.

WWE.com had this statement:

Michael Lockwood passes away

World Wrestling Entertainment is saddened by the loss of Michael Lockwood, known professionally as Crash Holly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Michael's friends and family.

Damn, DiBiase looked so cool in real life with the tux, tights and Money Money Money music, he was my favorite up until he left. He definitely should've gotten a World Title reign, but just made other untalented guys look better.

Money Inc. may have been the greatest WWF/E tag team ever. I have them at the top of my top 10 just ahead of Demolition because of the DiBiase factor (and Jimmy Hart always adds in an X-factor).

Legends of Wrestling, my team is always RVD and DiBiase, kind of an odd combination but works really well.

Money inc was killer...sorta depends on what combination....id still take the DiBiase/IRS combo....both are just solid wreslters, although irs isnt really in Ted's league, thats usually the case with solid tag teams..

..for instance the pwi #1 tag team of all time, the hart foundation.....i love money inc but i dont think they quite pass the H.F.....screw played out teams like the dudleys and lod being known as the best...they only say that type of sh*t when a team is still getting heat or when something happens....when the years pass though, none of them will top teams like money inc, hart foundation, or the outsiders from thier respected "prime"

Well the news of Crash Hollys death was shocking, especially at such an age.

And in the talk of Tag Teams, in my years of watching, I would say the Dudleys. They've been successful in many businesses, and held all of the Tag Team belts.

No way, the dudleys havent won every tag team belt...Legion of Doom has though. The dudleys are good, but LOD is a hell of a lot better. Money Inc kicked ass too, but i dont think they were the best tag team, Hart Foundation was better, which makes them the best tag team ever, thanks to Bret Hart of course.

About Dibiase winning the title. He didnt need the world title, he made his own belt, the "million dollar" belt, which to him was the best belt ever. So who needs the world championship when you have your own belt?

i gotta get ted in my avatar or something, or in a sig....i bought "suvivor series 95" from a video store for cheap cuz i know the dude that works there...i actually call him "the dude".....but anyway its got a TOTALLY mint pic of DiBiase with the million dollar belt and the tux and everything....ahh the old days..

i remember someone saying that the belt was worth around $65,000....and that most of the normal wwf titles were/are worth around 10,000 each depending on which one/size and sh*t like that.

about the dudleys...dont count there wins....theyve been played out for like 2 years and they are still winning titles...in the long run they dont compare with those teams....dudleys won a few differnt titles, but even though lod werent craziest skilled of wrestlers, they managed to get ALL of the titles....wwf, wcw, nwa, ajpw, njpw and awa...thats nutty but they had been around for a long freaking time.

The Million-Dollar belt was in fact estimated at being worth around $80,000. wink.gif Sure, it's a lot less than a million, but still worth a lot more than your average belt.

As I've said before, I've been watching since '99, so I've seen little to none of DiBiase, and I tend not to watch Classic tapes. The one time I did see him wrestle was at WrestleMania IX, which pitted Money Inc against Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage(?). From what I saw he was pretty impressive, but I can't really judge on that one match.

i suggest you get some old tapes....i just finished watching the survivor series tape i got cheap

its the one where bret and diesel have thier rubber match and bret ends diesels year long reign as champ with a small package as diesel was attemping a powerbomb with bret's limp body....soooooo good...so many other good feuds like razor an 123 kid after he joined dibiase with psycho sid....there was also a horrible planned womans match where all these japanese woman traded move for move to look good on camera all trying to hog the time...they would come in before the tag...that was the only bad thing about the ppv...its also the return on undertaker when he first wheres the mask that yokozuna and mabel made him wear by f*cking up his face....all good sh*t.

anyway about Ted....he's just one of those guys....quite comparable to ric flair....excellent personality....perfect as a heel....he suited his gimmick remarkably....and for his wrestling talent...another flair comparable.....smooth as butter....'technically sound' is a good word for it....and who can forget the million dollar dream?!...id say he was sorta a lower key mix of flair and bret harts style....flair like style with more of a bret hart impact on his moves.

The problem with DiBiase's Million Dollar Belt was that he rarely put it on the line. Today it would be in circulation just like any other, but back then he only defended it twice as far as I could remember: once against Jake Roberts at Wrestlemania VI, and once against Virgil at Summerslam 91. He passed it to Steve Austin when he became a manager, but it rarely served as anything other than a weapon.

My top ten WWF/E tag teams with rationale for placement. I know M2S is going to beat me up for this.

1) Money Inc. (DiBiase and Mike "IRS" Rotundo were two of the top superstars in the company at the time, and with Jimmy Hart, at the time the premier manager, were practically unstoppable. 3-time tag champs, and were especially hot during their second reign. They did have a weak tag field in the WWF at the time, but this would be DiBiase's greatest moment in the company, aside from almost winning the world title at Wrestlemania IV.)

2) Demolition (Referring specifically to Ax and Smash, not Smash and Crush. Also 3-time tag champions, including what remains the record for the longest single tag title reign in federation history. Remember, 3-time champs was a much bigger deal back then. I almost put them at #1, but Money Inc. won out on account of my being a huge DiBiase fan.)

3) The Dudley Boyz (Currently hold the record for most times winning the tag titles, and may continue to inflate that record. Have great music, cater well to fans, and are just good, solid wrestlers. I wouldn't call them great, but I am a fan of their hardcore ECW style. Bubba Ray also did well as a singles wrestler, and D-Von had great potential as a psycho preacher, but his storylines were not handled well at all. Provided the X-factor in their wars with the Hardyz and Edge & Christian.)

4) Edge & Christian (Previously held the record for most tag titles won. Their rivalries with the Dudleyz and Hardyz served as possibly the greatest tag period in the WWF, and at least the greatest since the days of Demolition, the Hart Foundation, LOD, The Rockers, Rougeou Brothers, Killer Bees, etc. I would call their feud with the Hardyz the greatest tag team rivalry in the history of the company. Both men became outstanding singles wrestlers.)

5) The Hardy Boyz (Third on the list of most titles won. Had possibly the greatest tag team rivalry ever against Edge & Christian-see above. Brought to the table an excellent high-flying style mixed with hardcore ECW-type spots without making matches spotfests. Both brothers won numerous singles titles as well, though Jeff's career went downhill, but Matt still shows a lot of potential.)

6) The New Age Outlaws (I'm not a fan of either Jesse James or Billy Gunn, but they did accomplish something important in becoming the first team to get over the 3-title hump.)

7) The Legion of Doom (Maybe I should have ranked them higher, especially in a tribute to Hawk. Provided inspiration for many future teams. Were one of the greatest teams ever during their debut and first title run. Unfortunately, at that time, the other top teams such as Demolition, the Hart Foundation, and the Rockers were either in decline or broken up, and they were left to feud with the Nasty Boys and Natural Disasters. Drug problems overshadowed their second run. They did a lot of their best material as the Road Warriors in the NWA, AWA, and other indie feds. It would have been interesting to see them in their prime and sober at the tag team boom of the late 90's and early 00's.)

8) The Rockers (The only team on my list to not win the titles, and in my opinion the best team to never do so. They were the predecessors to the Hardy Boyz, and in the opinion of most old school fans could run rings around them anytime. Shawn Michaels became a legend in his own right, while Marty Jannetty, despite a lot of talent, never made the big time, mostly due to injuries and backstage politics.)

9) The Hart Foundation (This is where M2S is going to hate me. Though I must admit, when I first started watching wrestling, it was during their second title run, when they were sucked into Dusty Rhodes' Survivor Series team against Ted DiBiase's, thus making them instant enemies. By the time I actually watched them wrestle, they had lost the belts and broken up. From what I understand, they were at their best as heels under Jimmy Hart. My other reason for not ranking them higher is the large discrepancy between the members. Even though the difference in talent was obvious when they were teaming, while Bret also became a legend and arguably the best ever, Neidhart's singles run failed horribly as he was given bad music, bad clothes, and bad storylines. To his credit, he did help to establish Owen Hart as a star in the short-lived New Foundation, though he was soon replaced by Koko B. Ware to form High Energy. Several times, Neidhart demanded more money than he was worth, and every time was deservedly shown the axe, hence explaining his erratic appearances throughout the years.

10) Owen Hart and the British Bulldog (Unable to secure the world title against Bret, the two late superstars dominated the tag team field in the mid 90's. Also 3-time champions, with good storylines considering this was the Vince Russo era. Unfortunately, the rest of the tag talent pool was virtually drained, as their only real competition was the marginally good Smokin' Gunns.)

Honorable Mention: Toru Tanaka & Mr. Fuji, The Wild Samoans, The US Express (Mike Rotundo & Barry Windham), The Brain Busters, the Orient Express, The British Bulldogs, The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers, High Energy.

heh i dont mind...people have opinions....although i do find it appauling that the hart foundation is lowered below the likes of the hardy boys/dudleys and the new age outlaws...that hurts man thats low confused.gif

anyway its all good but i was reading an interview with dibiase and he said he crowning moment in wrestling was when he was involved in the andre/hogan match and was talking about buying the title...that whole storyline he said really boosted his heat and his character.....and he also mentioned that he was told the million dollar belt was 40,000.

he also mentioned he favored wrestling bret hart amoung all others...of his 'era' he said.

a few teams that should possibly be swapped for some on your list not to be mentioned..

-The Outsiders(wrestling was hitting its peak...the fact they both went over to wcw was immediate heat...and my god they work so well together, when they were in their prime they were a dominate heavywieght tag team)

-Stenier brothers(not the greatest...id say maybe 9th or 10th at most....just helps to actually be brothers, that are both solidified amateur wrestlers...once again, a prime thing...when they were in thiers...that was another changing moment in tag team wrestling)

-Hollywood Blondes(what can i say...i dont like them that much...but austin was a great ring technition back then and it only added to his eventual redneck character....and pillman...straight outta the dungeon in calgary...what more can i say...they had a great chemistry but it was shortlived)

also more honorable mention to the brain busters...and as much as i hated them...harlem heat....you think anvil was a bad partner??..f*ck no....maybe a good read of what bret thinks of anvil would help..maybe not though...anyway stevie ray...now thats a sh*tty partner...he was more untalented and stiff than ahmed johnson...they should formed a team called "the assholes"

and PLEASE, PLEASE dont tell me you actually like the dudleys music?!?...i liked their ecw music..and thier first wwe music...but my god if there was ever a more repetative, played out, "all songs sound exactly the same" band...it would definatly be powerman 5000...sorry to any fans but i f*cking hate the dudleys music....i think its actually taking heat away from them...uve seem their reactions to the dudleys recently.

btw kev or anyone do ya know of anywhere with a decent bret hart caw...i need a good version of his tights but this years smackdowns create a wrestler has really gone downhill.

For Bret's tights I used these green ones in the tights area, they are in the 340's i think, somewhere near there. They are nearly turquoise and have stars all around them, then i changed the pink, and put a skull and a triangle saying hitman on his ass! He actually looks pretty good.

I also made quite a few CAW's today, but I prefer to keep mine to wrestlers that are still in action today. I made:

Faarooq

Bradshaw

Doug Basham

Danny Basham

Shane McMahon

Jeff Hardy

I'm most pleased with my Jeff and Basham CAW's, they turned out surprisingly well. Bradshaws hair was pretty hard to get perfect, and I couldn't make a good shirt for Shane. Other than that they're good.

some people that put theirs up on sites have some amazing caw's...usually i can manage to find a few good ones, but for this game, it seems like i can barely find anything...and when i do....1 outta every 8 bret caws is decent....some people can make that sh*t perfect...thats what im looking for....i found a perfect one...yet, it was for JBI confused.gif

well the one i have is made from someone on the web. The face is almost exactly the same. But the attire is very hard to get correct as they took his attire out of this game(DAMN THQ!)

Anyways, unfortunately Megaman X7 sucks balls....I bought it a month ago and im already going to trade it in this weekend. It doesnt suck but its VERY short...so Im trading it in along with some playstation games and computer games to get Ratcher & Clank and Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando.....said to be one of the best series ever. Well, sorry to go off topic but i just thought i'd let you guys know.

Anyways, Im quite interested in the RAW storyline they are planning with Booker T....the I Still Remember note kinda made me think. I hope WWE does something very interesting with it.

well the one i have is made from someone on the web.

I hope WWE does something very interesting with it.

send me the place if it has a pic....i gotta see it before i try all of that damn code they give ya.

yeah i sorta expected megaman to be a lil short...now that theres so much going on it probably takes alot away from the oldschool gameplay...i still need to play it though...i got about 100 games i wanna rent when i thu with the ones i bought and play now..

about booker...yeah those are always good stories...unless they dissapoint with the culprit...kinda wonder who itll be with so little info.

-stevie ray(please no, please god dont be him)

-Goldust(maaaybe)

Well the news of Crash Hollys death was shocking, especially at such an age.

And in the talk of Tag Teams, in my years of watching, I would say the Dudleys. They've been successful in many businesses, and held all of the Tag Team belts.

Yeah. I know.

Plans for his funeral have already taken place.

Mike "Crash Holly" Lockwood's funeral will take place this Wednesday (11/12) at the Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove, North Carolina.

Visitation will be allowed from 6:30PM-8:30PM. Visitation will alsobe allowed from 6:30-8PM on Tuesday (11/11).

Lockwood's widow, Christeena, stated the following:

"I was devastated. I couldn't believe what I was hearing."

She and Crash were actually seperated at the time. Crash was living with good friend Steven Richards. He was found dead in Richards' home.

As for the cause of his death, Christeena said the following:

"I know there are lots of things on the Internet about his death, but they're not true. And I don't want to say how he died because I'm afraid people will look at him negatively."

Holly was set to work in Japan this January with Pro-Wrestling NOAH. He was also scheduled to start a trainer for Pro-Wrestling IRON laterthis month.
