Batista's promo skills are good, and his facial expressions tell us things.

Thats basically how I feel. He only has two facial expressions. Anger, and cockness. Nothing in between.

 

I dont think he is good at promos at all yet. I can BARELY hear the guy. Never have I actually yelled at my tv 'SPEAK UP' untill Batista....I suppose I could have just turned the volume up

 

I agree that its Jericho's time. Its always Jericho's time, but guessing when they will give him another run is harder than Calculus.

Im not saying he's Triple H's leauge of promos or JBL or something, but he's good. He's still got alot of potential ahead of him, and I think he can do it. Right now I cant picture him with the belt. It just wouldnt work. Id flip out that he turned on HHH but then Id realize that he'd be the champ.....the best wrestler in the world? um....no. His in ring ability gets better each week. His promos are pretty good every week. I enjoy them. He deserves alot of credit....but it doesnt hurt to keep pushing him.

Batista is not getting better every week. He was absolutely terrible this past week on RAW, as he didn't sell one move by La Resistance.

It looks like there are a few additions to the roster this time. Still no La Resistance, tho. No Snitsky either (but that's a good thing). Funny how Jazz and Nidia are in it after they've been released for some time now.

 

Breaking News: The rumors are true! UPN is not going to renew Smackdown. I'm sure another station will pick it up, if not a major network, Spike or USA will probably take it.

WWE is looking into having WrestleMania 22 take place at the Calgary Stadium in Canada. The stadium holds around 45,000 people, so it would be a perfect setting for the event. That would also quickly heat up the rumor mill of a Bret Hart return to WrestleMania with the event taking place in his neck of the woods.

 

Id call that a damn near guarentee for a Hart return. You know it would happen. I think thatd be awesome to have a WM in Canada.

 

I only want SD to continue under one condition. If theyre gonna brag about having the exclusive cruiserweight division.....then god dammit get a cruiserweight division. Rey Mysterio....and...yah. Theres soooo many GREAT cruiserweights in TNA. Elix Skipper for god sakes works $500 a night and puts on a better show than half of the WWE roster. We can go on about this bull sh*t for weeks....I know....its sooooooooooooooooooooo frustrating to see WWE just putting a product out there to have one. Theyre not....trying as hard as they used to.

Except it isn't, it's generic.

 

The best idea ever would be for Smackdown to die, and then the entire Smackdown roster, and the entire RAW roster joins together, no brand extention. It was cool for like, 6 months, but one side was just stacked.

Yeah, I've been hearing about that rumor, and I'm very intrigued at the possibility of it returning. King of the Ring was always one of my favourite events, next to the Royal Rumble.

I would love to see KOTR back too. They finally figured out how to use it as more than just a prop-centered gimmick, with the winner automatically getting a title shot at Summerslam, similar to the Rumble leads to one at Mania. This also gave Summerslam even more anticipation and pomp, as it leads to WWE building towards something huge. I didn't like them cutting the actual PPV bracket from 8 to 4 though. I guess their logic was they would have longer, better matches after the 1995 tourney (Mabel ) was such a failure. The solution should be a full 8-man bracket, but make each match worth watching. If need be, cut back on the filler non-tourney matches.

Although, 1995's was a success Leper, I mean Matt and Jeff Hardy were the two jesters at the door, even though Jeff got a milkshake thrown at him half way through the pay-per-view.

I like the calm Batista...makes him more beleavable as a caharacter as opposed to his 24/7 anger he had when he first came....Like sh*tskey does now.....

Sources close to the Lesnar-WWE situation claim his asking price for a return contract is "ridiculous," which explains why WWE has not shown noticeable interest in reaching a deal. It's only reasonable that Lesnar expect a substantial paycut after leaving WWE for a failed shot at the NFL.

 

Although it remains to be seen if a deal between Lesnar and WWE can be reached in time for Sunday, some claim WWE is using the potential of a "Royal Rumble" spot as a way to entice Lesnar to lower his asking price and return to the company. It's clear that WWE is not opposed to having him back, especially if they could milk a 'shock' angle out of it.

Well, Mr.Perfect made a Royal Rumble return out of nowhere, and that was just awesome, even though after eliminating Austin and being in the final 3, he totally plunged lower than Goldust.

 

Lesnar would be amazing as a comeback, I would love Vince.

Id love nothing more for him to come back so that he can make all of those bums irrelevant and get them off tv so someone else can get the time. (London, or Stevie for snipes sake)

 

As for KOTR, I f*cking hate it when I see articles of people blaming Lesnar for its demise, as if it was Brock whom went to Vince and said "Hey I want to totally squash everyone this year and have the ppv cancellend so people think its my fault!"....idiots. I actually enjoyed that KOTR

 

 

 

 

Honestly though, what sounds more appealing..

 

Batista/HHH or Lesnar/HHH. To me its no comparison, I think Lesnar and HHH could pull off some of the best matches possible. Not to mention it would be one of the coolest feuds ever. Especially now that HHH actually has some real beef with Lesnar outside of the script.

Batista winning the rumble would be terrible, and him winning the title at Wrestlemania is the equivalent of of Vince Russo taking over WCW.

When I think of a Batista/Lesnar match, I just think of why they didnt ever have Batista's character around when Lesnar was coming up. He would just make Batista look silly in the ring. That, or Batista would make Brock look worse than he is. Id much rather see what kind of match HHH and Brock could throw down.

 

Though im a big fan of anything that grabs attention, or helps the ratings significantly. And though he will probably never be 'good' in the ring, if he is over enough, id love to see him and Lesnar have a headline. But for those reasons only.
