Taker v Orton would be cool, but I think they want Orton to win at Mania, and keep Takers Mania wins going

I think Orton should be the one to beat Taker, ending his Wrestlemania streak, proving that Orton truly is the legend killer. Then Taker will retire, a weight off all of our shoulders. He's just sooooooo boring right now.

He's probably SD!'s biggest selling point though. sh*t Id pay $20 just to see the Undertaker's entrence. I saw it at WM XIII. Easily one of the best ever.

 

Gooker Award - Im upset about that one. I mean we all hated the diva search but at least we were into it. Like...We just wanted to see who'd win. It got long and dragged on but at least there was some intrest.

 

Snitsy should be a stand out for the award....just cuz its him. What about Mordecai? The guy had promos and his first appearance was gonna be huge and he became one of the biggest flops I can recall in recent memory. Goldberg/Lesnar match from WMXX I actually enjoyed because the fan's laid it on the both of em. I loved every minute of it and Austin played with it too. Fans chant sell out to Lesnar...boo Goldberg and at the end Lesnar sincerly flips off the crowd. It doesnt get much better than that.

Rey and Chavo had a better match than there last couple.

 

The crowd was dying to see Carlito of all people. Cant wait till that bastard actually gets back into competition.

 

 

 

Anyone notice pop of the night on smackdown in Montreal??? Thats right, it was for, of all things, HHH's image for his ppv match with Orton. (well besides Taker's played out entrance...stale) They love him in Montreal too. 10x bitches.

I wouldn't consider Mordecai as the Gooker, or even crap. I thought the gimmick was cool, and saw a lot of potential for it. He and Taker would have been a natural feud. I was hoping that given time, his ring skills would improve, but unfortunately he was never given a chance.

The sorry thing about that was that he was clearly no worse in the ring than Luther Reigns or Heidenriech... Yet he was the one that got the total shafting.

 

Ah well, Heidey is doing a darn good job on his character(cant say the same about his inring though)

To me, Smackdown is just the same thing every week. They promote the Heidenreich-Taker thing even further when they don't need to, and they have JBL doing the same things. They need some originallity on the show, to make it that much better.

The Kane vs. Snitsky matches so far have been anything but exciting. The only cool thing in all of their matches is when Snitsky was chokeslammed thru the tables. I dont think its kane thats the problem, its Snitsky. Oh,well... ITS NOT HIS FAULT!!!!!!!!

My father told me about this and I saw the poster on Friday and knew I had to go, check it out.

Yeah, I hope so, I mean if it is like Def Jam: Fight For NY and the fighting, grapping and what not system on there, it will seriously rock. I am sure they could of countered those past mistakes, the first Raw was terrible.

On WWE.com, you can vote for who should be inducted in the 2005 Hall of Fame. Unfortunately, you can only vote for one, and despite Bret, Owen, Sammartino, and Hogan all on the list and all deserving, I felt like I just had to vote for DiBiase.

 

Anyone want to explain to me why Tajiri jobbed to King Grimace in a Rumble qualifying match? And Coach got in, but Stevie didn't even have a qualifying match? When was the poor guy even on TV (not counting Heat) last? Did I also mention that Rhyno's career has been disappearing faster than Scott Hall at an AA meeting?

Viscera needs to find something else to do, maybe be the new spokesperson for Pilsbury. Tajiri, Regal, and Rhyno should of gotten into that match. Instead, they have the Coach, and some fat ass that can do about as many moves as the Coach.

Are there any HHH fans here? I've been a fan since he booted Shawn out of DX, but have trouble lately justifying his actions to my partners at work. Hes been such a great champ, but i cant wait till Evolution falls apart so he can show his true winning abilities.

We all like HHH in here. We recognize that he has great wrestling ability and promo skills, has been with the company longer than anyone except Taker and HBK, and is the best heel on either show right now. I'm ready to say he's one of the top 5 heels ever.

I may be his largest supporter. Most dont like the amount of times he's held the title, but there are reasons for everything. And they dont necessarily relate to being married to the bosses daughter..

And if people want another heel to take his place, who should it be? The only other bad guy with enough talent on Raw right now is Christian, and he's still not a main eventer. The one thing I didn't like is, HHH winning back-to-back titles, and that going down in the record books. A similar thing happened to Bob Backlund, but it was never recognized, and he will go down as a 2-time champion when he actually won the strap 4 times. Personally, I would've booked Batista to win the Elimination Chamber, have HHH challenge him the next night, and win the belt back with a fingerpoke of doom (even though I spoke out against that when WCW did it). That would clearly establish HHH as a true 5-time Raw champion, and further the Batista angle, as he would be mad that he was forced to lose in that way.

He had offers but he saw that if he stuck it out and worked hard he'd go far in the WWE, and look where he's at now. He's at the top of his GAME. I think Batista stepping up and having a rivalry with Orton would be awesome!

Thats the problem, Batista cant step up to anything except a new level of yelling and screaming..

I know he will get the title anyway, but if you ask me, if he wants the title he needs to seriously step up his in ring game, and his on camera ability. Its still so weak that it hurts.

 

Understandibly though, he may not be as bad as it seems, as hes always in their doing promos with the likes of HHH and Ric Flair, its hard to live up to thier standard.

 

Btw, I dont think HHH is out of shape at all. He isnt as ripped as he used to be, but he used to be out of this world. And he wrestles quite often so I dont really have any complaints about him whatsoever right now besides lack of competition

Batista's promo skills are good, and his facial expressions tell us things. His in ring ability isn't that great, but look at Orton. Watching his match last night, be had no variety in his moves at all. Yes, they were all done with ease, but theres no variety. Batista, is the same way, and yet you see him as a jobber that doesn't deserve anything. This is just my take on things, take it for what you will.

 

IMO, no one deserves the WHC more then Jericho. Everyone else can go suck their mums tit, but Jericho needs that title. Jericho can play both face and heel, and does a good job at selling either. Unlike someone like Orton, or Kane. I'd put Triple H in that category with the other 2, but he hasn't done a face role for a long ass time. A real champ needs to be able to sell as either, and Jericho fits that bill perfectly.
