Anyone know the name of Edge's new entrance music? It sounds pretty cool, but I want to hear the whole song.

BTW, did anyone notice they stopped doing the Gold Shower for Orton?

no?? tounge.gif

Lol, Golden shower....of all terms you could have given him for fireworks, its the porno version of getting pissed on tounge.gif Im not sure why they took it away, perhaps its too much of a 'champion-esque' type of pyro.

@Leper - Im not like most I guess. I dont and wont care whenever Sting finally shows up. I wish Shelton could get the heat that the Stinger was getting in WcW, because he's got the potential to be 10x better of a wrestler than the Crow.

Menace, it took me a while to get to the bottom of your Sting-hating, but I finally figured it out. By the time you finally got into watching WCW, you missed all his best stuff. His feuds with Flair pretty much defined NWA/WCW in the late 80's and mid 90's and he's basically Flair's greatest rival with the possible exception of Steamboat. You can argue that Flair can carry anyone, but even after Ric left, Sting became WCW, and had some excellent matches with Foley, Vader, Rude, and Roberts. It was really when he started doing the Crow sh*t that he became too much like a cartoon character and was saddled with awful storylines. His feud with Vampiro was one of the stupidest angles in history, and it made no sense whatsoever. He was definitely not the wrestler he was at the beginning of his career, but he was also largely a victim of Russo's idiotic booking.

On a personal level, he was also as loyal to WCW as HHH, Michaels, and Taker are to WWE. Just about everyone else, from Flair to Steamboat to Dusty to Dustin to Luger to Vader to the Steiners had interrupted their WCW careers and jumped over to WWF. Sting stayed on to the end, putting up with the terrible angles he had to do. Also, every wrestler has at least one other who slams him as a prima donna and an asshole. Sting is one of the few who I've never heard anyone say anything negative about. Reading many interviews, other wrestlers have always complimented his attitude and his work ethic, and mentioned that he enjoyed doing the charity events, while other stars just saw it as a chore.

Oh no, I watched those years of the Stinger too..

Its like Edge to me. He was too much of a superface. I think it was the try-hard thing.

I enjoyed some of his matches, Ive just never gotten to the point where I like him. I enjoyed the one in particular with Foley, and the few he had with Vader and the countless ones with Flair.

He just seemed too happy all the time, I liked guys like Bret and Hogan that were super-face, but when they came to the ring it was ALL buisness. No beaming smile, no jumping up and down, no face paint tounge.gif Ive also always been a fan of the cocky, yet talented heel. That didnt help much when I first started watching Sting either.

Very loyal dude though. He would definatly still be a big grab for the WWE, especially in the states, I particularly just wouldnt be too thrilled, thats all. But im down for anything to help the product (except goldberg, ect)

My friend gave me the band's CD and the song is actually pretty good IMO. I forget the name of the band. Ask me tommarow!

Get this though....Menace will love this. lol. The band that plays Edge's song is Creed - Scott Staff. lol

Well, Alter Bridge, the same thing almost. Its actually pretty cool, and I even got the version that Edge has, which is 2x better.

I like Shelton, because he's kinda like a more talented, black sting. That, and he pulls the stinger splash off great.

x2 Hes still got a long way before he reaches Stings accomplishments but hes on his way. Does anyone think a return for sting into the WWE could be possible I mean hes still fit and looks fine to wrestle what do you think.

ye me too.

i like kane cuz he was the first wresler i ever saw on t.v. .

so he has always been my favourite

I hope to god no one first started watching wrestling when Goldberg was on tv... confused.gif

*raises hand*

It was just coincidence with me though. I didn't actually START watching it when goldberg was on TV, i started watching it back in like 1994 with the WWF. But i started watching it regularly back in 98. But i just happend to watch more WCW then WWF since we didn't have cable.

I was never a huge goldberg fan though, i always liked the other WCW people more.

P.S.: user posted image

That is pretty realistic..

Yeah, Wrestlemania 21 looks great. I can't wait to get my hands on it, although the 2D crowd is really, really not impressing me at all. cry.gif

i have a question,if wm21 is gonna be released then how will they get the wm 21 arena?

They don't They have the staples centre as an arena though, which is where WM21 is taking place. I assume that WWE has given them the WM21 logo, and a layout of how the arena may be designed, and they'll go from there.

That wont be stopping me much. So whats the word on the career mode? Like you start in indy circuits and work your way up or what? I didnt really get a good read on it in the IGN article.

You're such an idiot man. You contradict your own post, you say to keep it on topic and then you ask if the Xbox controller is easy to control? Come on...

Anyways, the game is exclusively for Xbox, and not having the most accurate WM21 venue isn't going to stop anyone except really nitpicking uptight bastards that need everything perfect, not a big loss.

Ahhh, Scott Stapp! Patron and singer of perhaps my least favorite band of all time! smile.gif

Same can be said about Alter Bridge, but hey, to each their own..

Smackdown isnt bad this week. Its not good either, its sort of right at the 'meh' level. Which is a shame as the crowd was pretty hyped at the beginning of the show, and its a bigger crowd than recent smackdowns.

Yes, and no.. I think it's basically you starting out as a low no name wrestler and making your way up the ladder.

What's everyone thoughts on There Goes the Neighborhood? Usually I hate the backyard games, but where else are you going to get Sandman, Messiah, etc. on a video game?

Nooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!! RVD has torn both his MCL and ACL, and will be out for quite some time. I knew something was off in his match from last week, and now it looks really bad. It couldn't have come at a worse time either, right before the Rumble.

It's still way too early to start making predictions on the winner of the Royal Rumble, simply because storylines still need to unfold. I really want to see where this Jericho/Benoit thing goes.

The Hurricane will win the rumble, no doubt about it. biggrin.gif

I wish, but ain't happening. I bet it's going to be a Raw wrestler, probably either Orton or Batista.

One game we can do: name the best and worst Rumble participants of all time. For the best, I will say Steve Austin. He has almost all the records: most times winning the Rumble, tied for most consecutive times winning the Rumble, most overall eliminations, and second-most eliminations in a single Rumble. For individual participants, I will say Flair in 92, Backlund in 93, Benoit in 04, Martel in 91, and DiBiase in 90.

For the worst, as far as individual performances, Mo in 95, Bushwacker Luke in 91, Nikolai Volkoff in 92, DiBiase in 92 (he was the first one eliminated and the only one Flair wasn't in the ring with. And with the title on the line, I was marking for him to win for weeks!), Cat in 04, and the no-shows such as Savage in 91, Bastion Booger in 94, and Spike Dudley in 04.

The worst participant ever overall is one who is the very definition of futility. He is the Chicago Cubs, Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Clippers, and Phoenix Coyotes rolled into one. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you: The Warlord! From 89-92 he appeared in four straight Rumbles and did not score a single elimination. 3 of those times he was eliminated by Hogan, including being clotheslined out by the Hulkster in 7 seconds in 89. In 91, he drew #29 and #30 in 92, only to choke hard. The very definition of the monster heel who couldn't capitalize if his life depended on it.
