What a pathetic way to end the PPV. Interference in an Elimination Chamber? It's f*cking stupid, considering the thing was built so there wouldn't be interference. I'm really f*cking sick of Triple H winning the title, I don't care how much heat he gets, it's not good for the company.

Funniest thing is, in HCTP he hasn't had the title for 5 years in my game.

 

The Chamber match was weak, no breaking glass, not enough use of the enviroment, etc. Flair coming in ruined it, and Batista staying with Evolution ruined it. Something better change soon, or I'm going to bitchslap the WWE.

The undercard more or less sucked due to all the injuries and I expected a lot more out of Shelton and Maven, but the Chamber alright, though not near as good as the previous ones. I expected HHH to win, but I would rather Orton won it and then HHH won it back sometime before the Rumble or Mania. Nah, it looks like they're building towards HHH/Orton at Wrestlemania anyway, so they don't want to give either of them a clean win yet.

Off Camera Notes From New Years Revolution: Batista/HHH & More

I just came back from the PPV, and I have to tell you: it was one of the best live shows ever. The crowd was hot all night, except for the Hussan vs. King match. Here are some of the most interesting facts:

 

- The first thing that was shown was a video promoting

Wrestlemania 21. The crowd went wild everytime Stone

Cold, HBK, and Bret Hart appeared.

 

- The RAW divas came out, and they loved Stacy & Christy the most.

 

- Dark Match: Hurricane & Rosey (w) vs. La Resistance

 

- JR got a HUGE pop upon entering, and during the Hussan match.

 

- Lilian Garcia greeted everyone, and she got a huge pop because she was from Puerto Rico. The crowd went even more wild after she sang the Puerto Rican national anthem.

 

- Eugene's injury was legit. A lot of trainers came out after the match ended, and he was helped out of the ring. Much of this happened when they were airing footage on TV.

 

- Lita's injury seemed legit too. They had to end the

match quickly, which left everyone wondering what happened. She was helped out of the ring as well.

 

- The crowd absolutely hated Maven. They were chanting

"PATO!" (which means "fa**ot!") to him all night long.

They loved Shelton, especially when he pinned Maven twice.

 

- Nobody liked the match between the King and Hussan. Many took this opportunity to buy WWE merchandise and food/beverages. Others started chanting "BORING!".

 

- The crowd was really into Kane. Everyone loved the fireworks, and the crowd went wild when he used the tombstone piledriver.

 

- They had some problems when lowering the chamber. The officials had to move the ring a bit in order for the cage to fit.

 

- When HBK came out, the crowd went REALLY nuts. However, that's nothing compared to HHH's entrance. That whole stadium was screaming so hard that I could barely hear HHH's music and myself screaming. He was definitely the biggest pop of the night, and the crowd absolutely loved him. Batista's pop was almost as big as HHH's, if not the same. Those two had the biggest pops of the entire night, even though the rest of the participants of the main event were cheered as well. Suprisingly, Chris Benoit's pop wasnt that big (in fact, it was the lowest among the 6 participants), but it was still hot.

 

- When Batista was eliminated, the crowd started to boo. They were really into Batista. When HHH won, the crowd had mixed reactions, but some cheers could be heard.

 

- After NYR went off the air, Batista came back and started posing for the crowd in the ring. Everyone went nuts for him, and the pop was almost as big as when he entered the chamber. He exited the arena but threw a kiss at the crowd before doing so.

 

- Lilian then thanked the crowd for coming, and everyone cheered again.

 

It was definitely great to experience the show live. After it ended, they let us take the ringside seats. Attached is a picture of my seat. (Which you can see below).

I dont think his ego has much to do with why Vince decided to give him the title..

 

Like any no brainer, its to give the belt to a heel leading into Wrestlemania....like always.

 

My pick was Orton going into, and I am surprised nothing came of 'HBK going heel' or 'Batista turning face' or this and that. But I still thought it was good.

 

The crowd makes most anything good. If they had a crowd like that for every show of the year, people would complain alot less about the product.

 

Anyway, HHH won.. Better than Edge or Benoit or Batista imo..

 

Those crazy Puerto Ricans really liked there Batista eh?

 

Actually now that I think of it, "Egoman" HHH the 'heel' had pop of the night with his entrance by far.. Good on him.

What a crap ending, that's the last time I will be watching a WWE PPV until Wrestlemania. I mean they could've done so much stuff with that Chamber, but they had to end it like that. Get HBK back wrasslin he's better than all them wankers in the ring tonight!! He has a great personna!!

I'm quite dissapointed, even though Triple H got a huge pop, when he won it was quite mixed. I would have much perferred it if Y2J won it of course, but that didn't happen. To be honest, I'm quite sick of Triple H being in the Wrestlemania main event. This will be his third year in a row, and his fourth time in the main event overall.

I think the best thing that could have happened would be Shawn interfering either way with Batista or HHH remaining in the match. I know the thought of Batista as champion right know isn't a pleasant one, but he could probably handle the job for a little while before he'd lose it in preperation for Wrestlemania. The alternative is what I was hoping for. I think an HBK heel run would generate a ton of hype.

I'm just tired of seeing him as the champion. He's a great champ, but we need something new. The problem is, he will always be in the title picture. There's nothing else I can see him pursuing.

Former ECW Wrestler Backstage At WWE RAW Tonight

-- Former ECW World Tag Team Champion and TNA star New Jack is backstage at RAW tonight. The show is being held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and New Jack is apparently scheduled for a try out match.

 

Apparently, a few weeks back New Jack had contacted WWE. He brought up some ideas he had on how to use him, and it appears that WWE may be taking a look at using him.

I'm still quite pissed off that Triple H won. What a damn crappy ending, and what a bad way to start the new year. It made the entire past month of the belt becoming vacant totally pointless. Ugh.

 

 

Anyways, The Rock is suppose to make his cameo tonight, that's right, his usual cameo that lasts one night which he does twice a year. w00t

Im also sick of HHH he makes me angry at the WWE for keeping him champ so long they shouldnt fire him they should just make him lose his title to Randy Orton who is obviosly the future of the WWE they need him mor than any other superstar so why dont they make him champ. I expect him to win the royal rumble after coming so close last year he deserves to go to wrestle mania 21 and ofcoarse HHH will head line because he sells tickets I also think it would be smart for the WWE to do everything they can to bring back sting and continue to make HBK a guest referee. IMO he did very well in the elimination chamber and he made me laugh quite a bit.

If Michaels isn't allowed champion anymore, then HHH isn't either. And Orton is questionable? The guy wrestles awesome, he's good on the mic, and the crowd pops for him every night. I really would like to hear how Orton is questionable. And Batista is improving on the mic, Jericho is great at everything, Benoit, while not great on the mic, has more pure wrestling skill then HHH ever will. Edge, is still a great wrestler, not a great performer. So if you ask me, HHH doesn't need that belt anymore, give it to someone else.

Mark }{ you were a Bret Hart fan wernt you cause only a Bret Hart fan would say that Benoit is a better wrestler than HHH ever will be I hate HHH but I belive that his skills as a performer far out way Benoits skill. HHH will always be a title contender and he should be.
