i would like to see maven get that title cause eventhough he beat taker for the hardcore championship,he needs to add more to his resume.

plus i would like to see christian and tomko win ,because christian is a good tag team specialist

Maven = boring all around. No way in hell I'd ever want him to have another title.

 

Raw was pretty good tonight, it kept me entertained the whole way through. I wish I could've actually seen a match out of Hassan, but he's great on the mic.

Kane coming back, meh. I knew it was going to happen, and they f*cked up and hit the pyro too early so it wasn't surprising at all.

Batista pulled a good match out tonight if you ask me. One of his better performances, and I can't help but like the guy. You guys might think he sucks on the mic, but it entertains me. Its probably because half the time it makes Trip's so damn angry.

He's been improving allround recently imo, especially so on the mic skills. I think he's become quite good on the mic myself. Certainly much better than he used to be.

 

regarding kane... yeah, old school would've been awesome. and as has been mentioned, the pyro took away any ounce of surprising-ness that was there. although it was already obvious anyway.

It was funny as hell though when the pyro went off, Lita just looked at the ramp with a "WTF!!!" look on her face. She looked all confused.

 

Another couple of funny moments about Raw were...

 

-When Grenier screwed up that "hop up" thing, the fans gave him such a hard time. He played it off pretty well though.

 

-When Orton got bumped off the ring apron and hit the barrier, he went into the crowd. The fans started chanting "HOLY sh*t, HOLY sh*t!"

 

At least the crowd was into it all night, thats another thing that makes a good show better.

You guys wanna know something pretty damn cool??? My g/f of 4 years is 1st cousin with Gene Snitsky, His last name is actually Snisky, I have no idea why they added that letter. He is from Nesquehoning, PA and I'm from Jim Thorpe, PA which is only 2 miles away.

 

Pretty cool to see him at Thanksgiving and Christmas, I find it amazing how he can play a heel because he is the nicest guy in the world.

A lot of the time they are the nicest guys/gal's you'll ever meet. I say this because Trish, playing the bitch/heel role, is really pretty nice.

He did that to me and my g/f on Christmas and we almost pissed ourselves because of the face he made. It's really hilarious. I tell people that he is my girlfriends cousin and they don't believe me. Thats ok because I took 2 of my friends to actually meet him and they practically sh*t themselves at how big he was and that he was ACTUALLY WAS my gf's cousin.

Weird he is perhaps my least favorite wrestler in all of pro wrestling, and it has nothing to do with him playing the 'heel'

 

But very understandable, he is probably a damn nice guy.

 

That was Batista's same old match if you ask me. Difference everyone is seeing isnt the wrestling, its his enthusiasum, and the crowd support. He is being allowed to interact with the crowd more than ever, and people are starting to like him clearly with his mini turn going on. It definatly helps.

 

Hassan was awesome tonight. I thought I would hate his manager upon first seeing his dumb face, but he is actually a really really great 'actor' persay, so far....perfect managerial stuff.

 

Great Main event too. Poor Smackdown, how will you counter..

I stayed up till 4 f*cking AM this morning to catch the very first Live Raw in the UK & I had to say I was dissapointed. The only good match on was Batista vs Benoit & I expected to see alot more of Shelton, but his match was over in like 2 minutes! The Arab-American debate, was funny, but you knew where it was going & I was like "WTF" when Trish battled Victoria as I'd just an hour ago watched Sunday Night Heat & the exact same match was on it.

 

Also at NYR Batista & HHH will be the last ones in then HHH will turn on Bat first which'll then start off a huge brawl between the two!!

I definitely can't see Jericho pulling through....but then again, it was pretty damn spontanious when he won the Undisputed Championship in one night at Vengeance! He was the last guy I thought would win, total ownage. I now post my New Year's Revolution predictions, with a very thorough prediction on the EC.

 

 

Kane vs. Snitsky

 

Meh, rematch from Taboo Tuesday, which wasn't that good either. I can see Kane going over, crushing Snitsky for good, but I can also see Snitsky winning with help from Matt Hardy, with them in on it together. Of course, Matt would play it off saying he did it for Lita, so Snitsky could kick Kane's ass, not kill her baby.

 

Prediction: Gene Snitsky

 

WWE Intecontenental Championship

Shelton Benjamin vs. Maven

 

Wow, Maven came out of nowhere with this. I think he's definitely IC material, yet, he's only IC contender material, he wouldn't make a great champion. Shelton is much better as a champ, and I hope he pulls through. I can see it going either way, Shelton will most likely win clean though.

 

Prediction: Shelton Benjamin retains

 

WWE Tag Team Championship

Eugene & William Regal vs. Tyson Tomko & Captain Charisma

 

Christain is a great tag team specialist, but......Tomko? Come on, give him a better partner. I actually can't stand either team as champions, I didn't even know Eugene and Regal had the belts until last night when this match was advertised. Neither team gets TV time, minus Christain. But for my final prediction, I'll have to say that Eugene and Regal take the win with Christain getting pissed afterwards.

 

Prediction: Eugene & William Regal retain

 

Women's Championship

Trish Stratus vs. Lita

 

I can't make a prediction as women's matches blow. But for the hell of it.

 

Prediction: Lita

 

Muhammed Hassan vs. Jerry the King Lawler

 

I assume that they'll have this match before the Chamber, just for people to wait for his debut. Since it's his debut, I can't see him losing. He has one hell of a character, excellent mic skills, and he can get heat better than anyone on RAW. My prediction is that he wins, possibly by help from his manager.

World Heavyweight Championship

Elimination Chamber

Triple H vs. Chris Benoit vs. Edge vs. Chris Jericho vs. Batista vs. Randy Orton

Special Referee: Shawn Micheals

 

Now, this is the match that everyone will be waiting for. I'm actually quite psyched up for it myself because the belt is really up in the air for about three or four of these guys. The fact that Micheals is the referee signals that there will be a heel turn or an alliance between him and one of the wrestlers, but that would be too obvious...wouldn't it?

 

First Elimination

 

I'm going to assume that Randy Orton and Edge will start things off. They'll wrestle a bunch, and there will be about one near fall, and in comes the next entrant: Chris Jericho. I assume that they'll wrestle for quite a while until the fourth entrant comes in: Triple H. They all team up on Hunter, and Edge hits a spear on Jericho, but then Randy hits the RKO on him. Orton pins Edge for the three count.

 

First Elimination: Edge

 

Second Elimination

 

The remaining three battle it out until the next guy comes out, Chris Benoit. When he enters, he immediately hits the crossface on someone...I'm guessing Triple H. But Hunter will restrain from tapping out, long enough until Batista comes in and breaks the count, having everyone now entered into the chamber. Carnage breaks loose, the battle ensues, and it eventually leads to Batista nailing a sitout powerbomb on Benoit. The wolverine will kick out however, and Orton goes for an RKO on Hunter but it's reversed into a pedigree. Batista breaks the count. Jericho then locks on the Walls of Jericho on Batista, and the big man is nearly tapping...Hunter won't break the submission! Batista eventually launces Jericho away however, and puts him away with a huge clothesline(What else can these two do together?).

 

Second Elimination: Chris Jericho (very unfortunate)

 

Third Elimination

 

Benoit and Orton and battling it out with Batista and Triple H on opposite corners of the ring. Orton gets thrown into the glass by Batista, and is getting pummeled. Benoit is chopping Hunter in the corner and Hunter falls down. Benoit goes for the flying headbutt, but Triple H rolls out of the way. The cerebral assassin gets up and hits the pedigree on the wolverine. Micheals counts the three count.

 

Third Elimination: Chris Benoit

 

Fourth Elimination

 

It's just Batista, Triple H and Randy Orton now. Orton is hurt bad from beng thrown into the glass, but he still continues to fight. Hunter and Batista are just toying with him, but Orton counters a punch from Triple H and hits a huge RKO! Batista then runs at him and clotheslines him to the mat. He goes for the cover, but Orton kicks out! Randall will then get to his feet along with the other two and they all stand their ground. Triple H turns to Micheals and tells him to go for it, HBK drills Orton with a Sweet Chin Music. Triple H then goes for the cover, 1-2-3, a fast count.

 

Fourth Elimination: Randy Orton

 

Final Elimination

 

It's just evolution left, and they're all hugging for a job well done. Triple H then turns to Batista and tells him to get on the ground....no? An argument starts and Triple H is yelling at Batista for not taking the fall. Soon enough, punches are thrown, and the fight that everyone's seen coming finally begins. Triple H tries for a quick pedigree, but it's countered by a back body drop. Batista off the ropes but misses a clothesline. The fight goes on for about five minutes, when both men are quite tired, Batista, out of nowhere hits a Sitout Powerbomb. But it's not enough to defeat the game, they both get up slowly and they exchange blows until Triple H kicks him in the stomach and hits the pedigree. 1....2....kick out! Batista kicks out, Triple H looks shocked. He gets back up and hits another pedigree on the big man. This time, it's enough to put him away.

 

Winner and still champion: Triple H

 

 

 

This will eventually lead to a Triple H vs. Batista match for the title at Royal Rumble, and the rest will be in the rumble match, where I assume Orton will win.

It's very hard to call, and that's probably totally wrong, but I'd still like to see some of your predictions (I'm looking at you leper).

I'm going with HHH winning this one, or winning it back shortly after. WWE usually likes having heel champions going into Wrestlemania, and HHH is the best heel on Raw. Edge is not World Champion material, and Batista is a botched double-team away from going face. I see him winning, and then facing Orton or Batista at Mania, as one of those two will win the Rumble.

If you are watching just for that reason then dont bother watching the ppv man. Im ordering for the match itself, and because its a raw ppv. I could give a crap what Batista does, im sure the match will still turn out good..

 

For anyone that didint notice, Goldberg isnt in it!!! Well, Batista is and in last, but i hardly think they will let him do what that skank goldberg got to do in the last one..

 

My money is on the game, but I can see Batista/Orton/or Jericho coming out with somewhat 'surprising' victories...Jericho is disgustingly slim but WE GOTTA BELIVE!!

I just read that Abyss just left TNA last night and has a way into WWE.
