I got SvR yesterday. Excellent game man. We have to be in an online tourny.

Online sucks. It doesn't save your records, or names even, and you can only have singles matches. It's quite pathetic.

Well that sux....but playing the game I realized who my favorite wrestler is.......Booker T.Not in the game but my favorite wrestler in the WWE is Booker......hes just mad animated as seen in the game....and his moves are always on point.IMO he always has real good matches....

I find he has REALLY slown down in the past couple years, he used to be alot quicker, rendering his moves much more pinpoint and smooth, but to me at least he seems to be really groggy with his moves lately.

 

Perhaps getting a short title reign or something like that will give him the spunk of old...granted he still does his moves well, watch any wcw tape of him, he just did everything with so much more effort it seems.

 

I like the guy but im upset that they cant find anything solid for him, that 'back to face' turn came outta nowhere, right in the middle of a heel run.

I have'nt watched wrestling in a while, besides the few episodes every once in a while. I think they kind of killed it when they seperated Raw and Smackdown. Like I would still like to see a Triple H and Kurt Angle match, and since both are different it won't happen. I saw Smackdown recently and I must say those two girls that had the arm wrestling contest were quite ugly, except that Dawn Marie has quite a body. Too bad the Stone Cold, The Rock, and the Mankind days are over, I really liked watching it during that time...

Yep, started out like that too. Too many commercial breaks in between the opener. Still, Orton took some sick bumps in that one.

 

Snitsky is begging for the Gooker Award. Some people say he has immunity because he ended the pregnancy angle. If he ever did, he lost it tonight.

 

Simon Dean is absolutely hilarious. The woman he brought to the ring was obviously a plant (security would never let someone back in their seat if they did that to a superstar in real life), but I wonder if the first two were. If so, that first woman's facial expression was so cheesy. Also, as he was sniffing her, you could clearly hear a fan yell, "You smell worse!" Funny stuff. Already Simon Dean >>>> Bodydonna Skip. Let's just hope he has it in the ring as well. If so, he may be my new favorite wrestler, at least on Raw.

I don't think that the fans he talks to are plants, but the people he brings to the ring are definite plants. Also, did anyone hear Jericho clearly just yell out "AH, f*ck!" right infront of the camera. That was gold.

 

Evolution is going to win the survivor series match, I can tell, just because of the fact that they had Batista look at the title. That alone just screams Evolution break up. I can see it now.

Still, that kick was impressive, he almost got the baby to hit the ceiling. He was just on TV too much last night. I was looking forward to HHH/Tajiri.

Well definitly....especially before Angel's head rolls off his shoulders. I read he predicted that he'd have only 2 or 3 more years left? I think it was that he was HOPING for....2 or 3 more years. Its a bit of time yet, but theres alot of match ups they should exploit. I think they should try a big SD! vs Raw type angle. Wouldnt that be dope?

Snitsky aside, I enjoyed Raw last night. HHH was omnipotent as well, and Simon Dean truly provided the highlight of the night.

Well Macho Man who I like is a whining bitch....after he appeared on the TNA ppv which I watched.....today he announces he dont want to be apart of TNA cuz of unsafe conditions.Hogan was there backstage at the TNA ppv and Hogan and Macho have an ongoing rivalry...Hogan asked Macho man to step outside.....to fight? or maybe to privatley squash the beef they have....nevertheless macho walked away and left Hogan hangin......Then rumor has it because of Hogan mach says he wont be apart of TNA cuz of unsafe working conditions....what a whining bitch....aint like his cRap album made any money......

 

On another note the Cats butler...who was also the butler for APA was fired today.......another one bites the dust.

Did any of you actually like SvR? IMO, its the worse game they've ever done, here's why...

 

-The voiceovers are totally screwed up, and sound too scripted. They didn't get any freedom to the superstars there.

-The roster is way too small, and forgot way too many important people. How can Lita not be in the game, how can Kidman/London not be in the game, and how can La Resistance not be in the game?

-The tag belts, womens belt, and cruiserweight belts were scratched. The only titles to battle for are the IC/US and the WWE/Heavyweight, thats really what brought the game down for me.

-The CAW feature is even worse the before. They got rid of all the cool textured clothing to put in about 5 flower patterns, and a whole bunch of other gay looking textures. Not to mention everything still looks painted on.

-The storyline's still suck. I see the same ones every season. Smackdown! 2 had better storylines then this. I could lose my tag tile, and then jack it back the next night without even fighting for it. They need more storylines then 10 or 12, thats all I'm going to say.

-The weight system doesn't apply to CAW's, this really pisses me off. I can have a guy thats 5'10, Light heavyweight, pick up the Big Show. Bleh.

-Stables aren't even a factor. Not once will HHH come out to help Batista or Flair, or vice versa. The games too loner oriented.

-The title unifacation matches mean jack all. I start the next season to see that the 2 titles are still there.

 

In all, I'm going back to HCTP. Sure the storyline's weren't that great either, but at least then I had more then 2 title options.

 

As for real wrestling, I can predict a Cena return very soon, maybe even Survivor Series. And I hope Snitsky is gone very very soon, for the love of god, please.

Is it a really really crap game then, or just not that good. On the few interent reviews i have read it dosen't sound special either. Atleast they have borught Create a PPV back . I will be getting it in the UK soon as it comes out on Friday.

Cena's filming a movie, it's hard to tell when he's coming back, depends on the filming schedule. The Marine will be, I believe, WWE's first film venture since No Holds Barred, starring Hulk Hogan. It wasn't as bad as Santa with Muscles, but still, it was one of those "so bad it's funny" things, and led to Zeus (actually old NBA star Tiny Lister) debuting in the WWF. Wrestlecrap reviewed it several weeks ago, and it pops up from time to time. "What's that smell?" "Doo...doo...dookie!" Hopefully The Marine and Eye Scream Man will be better, though from what I've read, I'm not too optimistic about the latter.

My respect was lost for him along time ago. Sometime in the mid-to-late 90's when he started using his opponents chest to support his entire body weight after a top rope elbow drop because of his feeble ass hips.

 

It wasnt really that bad but I heard quite a few stories of wrestlers been quite pissed about that, and it only got worse as he got older, same with his face and his attitude

- Kevin Nash was telling people backstage that he was looking forward to working with AJ Styles, and is apparently a very big fan of Styles. This raised quite a few eyebrows backstage. Many believe that Nash could put over Styles in a way that would actually raise the value of Styles.

 

If AJ isnt a million times better than Nash EVER was....then tell me....just tell me. Styles would be CARRYING Nash. Nash isnt there because he's a great wrestler. None of those old fools are. Theyre there because they generate hype. Is AJ THAT underrated?

Savage is like the Jose Canseco or Shawn Kemp of wrestling, the biggest fall from grace ever. For internet smarks who love bashing Hogan, he's the one taking the high road on this one. Savage was fine bashing him in interviews and rap CD's but when Hulk finally told him to step outside, he backed down and disappeared faster than Scott Hall at an AA meeting. Once he went into WCW, he definitely hit the roids. Maybe that's why his mobility went as well. He was as big a star as anyone in the 80's and early 90's, but didn't know when it was time to quit.

 

It'll take more than the Outsiders and a one-time appearance by Savage to save TNA. With Russo gone, they have a chance, if only Monty Brown and Abyss would follow suit.

TNA Invasion Update; WWE Threatens To Sue, Abyss Brings The Balloons

We have even more details on the TNA 'invasion' of WWE yesterday in Orlando, Florida. The WWE crew with RAW and SmackDown! superstars were dressed up like gangs feuding in the "West Side Story." Former WWE producer David Sahadi got together some of the crew from TNA and had Traci Brooks come out with cookies for the WWE crew. Abyss followed her out with some balloons and we had a celebration!; or not..

 

The WWE crew (mostly management) including Vince McMahon were shocked and furious. It gets even better though.

 

WWE filed a complaint to Universal later in the day and threaded to sue TNA if they used any footage of the event on their television. TNA was actually thinking about sending a press release out later today.

 

EDIT: As we reported earlier, both Jeremy Borash and Dave Sahadi as well as several other TNA production employees took a visit to the WWE's filming of the Royal Rumble commercial in Orlando, FL yesterday.

 

Many of the workers knew Jermey Borash from the WVW days and from what we've been told, there is still some resentment towards Sahadi for leaving WWE as a production manager and going straight to TNA.

 

The TNA staff brought cookies as a kind gesture. As we noted earlier, Vince McMahon and 'Big' from Tough Enough were less than happy with their presence.
