Yeah, that's why I had to register under the name "Cetus X. Rhodes" at the Wrestlecrap forum. They wanted my real name, and there are certain people who don't know I'm a wrestling fan.

 

I only watch WWE at the moment, but that's becasue I haven't seen anything else worth watching. The only other wrestling that gets any coverage in my area is TNA which sucks, and the lucha libre feds, but my Spanish is a little rusty, so I don't understand all of what's going on. Back in the day, I'd watch WWF, WCW, and once in a blue moon ECW (mainly because I wasn't familiar with the TV schedule). I think most casual fans are like that. They pefer one fed, usually WWE, but can watch another if they just want to see wrestling. Once I asked my uncle what a mint julep is, and he told me, "That's what people drink when they run out of real alcohol." WCW was a lot like that. It may not be the first thing I go for, but by God, it was wrestling, and it could give me my fix. The only exception were the pure WCW fans. They couldn't accept anything WWF, which was why Hogan was booed as a face when he first came in. They saw him as a transplant cutting in on "their" show, and didn't like him going over "their" WCW stars like Flair and Vader.

 

Wow, you wrestled Mateo? What fed, where did you tour, what was your gimmick, face or heel, ever hold any belts? Do you know of any indies that come into Petaluma? I know there's one that comes into Healdsburg every so often.

No I didnt wrestle....I opened up the show sometimes on the mic......I helped with some special effects........and they let me book a show one time...that was extremely cool and I got to see a different side of the business.I was there to make theme music for the wrestlers...So far I have made 1 song for a wrestler Robert "The Bomb"Thompson...........a rap song called "The Bombs House".........whenever i go back they let me open up the show...If I had more time i would of been announcer.......its a great company....APW....

Well, I got some sh*tty news about Smackdown vs. RAW...

 

It seems that Orton's music in the game is exactly like it is in real life. The copy of the game used to make the Orton videos wasn't all updated, uncluding Orton's music. The IGN editor that made the videos stated that Orton's current music is exactly like it is in the game.

 

That sucks...because that music owned.

Honestly I like Orton's theme. I like it alot. I got ahold of the track and I have been listening to it lots. Its a damn good song in my opinion and I think its part of one of the best entrences in the company. No complaints from me either way.

The intro from the vid we've seen was good. The rest wasn't. The sample in the IGN video wasn't his entrance music - it was the actual song his music is from, just played from the start with nothing special I believe. I prefer his TV theme atm overall. Meh.

 

PG, you got ahold of the track? From what I know the actual thing isn't out yet ... all I have is clips taken from TV, lol.

I just read the Smackdown spoilers, they were taped early since Taboo Tuesday would be on tuesday and the fans that had tickets to Smackdown wouldn't be able to see it if they were both on the same night. But they sound pretty interesting, nothing spectacular but it seems they're buildlng a Booker T face turn for him to face JBL for the title. Also, Chavo may be the next US Title contender...

The one I got is kinda a clip from TV. But its the best Ive found. Its the best out there as far as i know. I can link you up...or try to if you catch me on MSN.

 

@Kev - Yah Chavo as face is gonna be refreashing. Booker as face....Id like to see em get a title run. Then let him finish his career on a high note like that....seeing how booker doesnt plan on staying around much longer.

That was the one with Bret vs Austin where Austin bled out and passed out. Great Fing match. I was hoping to see HBK live and he was out with an injury so I never got to see em. Thats why I hope to god I get to see him wrestle for the title. Im excited as hell to see Orton and Flair....Shelton.

Wasn't Michaels faking that injury because he didn't want to drop the title to Bret? That's the common story I've heard. I'm doing my TT picks tonight. Unfortunately I'm going to miss Raw because I'm going to a Bob Dylan concert, but I'll have to read it on rajah and do my picks later.

Bret Hart was in a major feud with Stone Cold Steve Austin at the time. It went on for quite some time. Sid had the heavy weight title at the time....and he lost it to The Undertaker. Dont chop on HBK like that. Not cool.

Big Update On Shawn Michaels' Condition

According to PWInsider, Shawn Michaels has been working the last couple of weeks with a banged up knee.

 

The word making the rounds backstage at Raw last night was that he further aggravated it during the triple threat match and may require surgery. As of late last night, he was still able to work tonight’s pay-per-view event, however he would not be at 100%.

 

Originally those within WWE had wanted Michaels to win the fan voting and face Triple H tonight, however with him further aggravating his knee he’s probably better off working the tag-match, where he could spend a lot of time on the ring apron while his partner gets beaten down by the heels.

Shawn Michaels: The reason being pretty simple. He desirves this match. Like what was said on 'The Bagpipe Report' "No one wants to see The Edge wrestle." Including me. I feel this would be the best match to headline to show too. Also that Benoit and Edge have teamed up in the past agaisnt the great La Resistance, but I hope La Resistance come out on top.

 

Steal Cage Match: For most poeple, like myself, the other two options would not be entertaining enough, it is a great idea for the match, might aswell make it with a bang.

 

Lead Pipe: From when it has been used in recent weeks, it was obvious, plus I have never seen a match like that, the other two, I have. How is Kane really loveable now, but tries to be the heel and why the heel of all the times he takes a fall, it is agaisnt some OVW guy who is so not ready.

 

The Hurricane: I so want to see this rivaly agaisnt Rosey and this could push it. I think he will get it anyway, as much as I want to see Jay win.

 

Gets His Head Shaved Bald: It would be fun for Eric to prance around bald, the other two would suck for him, plus it was the one built up most, I hate Eugene, that be me, resident Eugene hater, and I want him to lose, sadly, he won't.

 

School Girl's Outfit: I have needs! No, the other two would seem hard to wrestle in and well the hottest is the school girl. Can't wait to see Gail ( ). Although, it is a shame that the women's title is sort of just mistreated now, I want a new champion though.

 

Lingerie Pillow Fight: The other two would be far fetched. I doubt they could wrestle and well a aerobics thing would just be stupid. I hope Christy wins, naturally.

To be honest, I didn't want HBK in that match at all. Benoit in my opinion is a much more solid wrestler, but without mic skills. HBK has moderate mic skills and moderate wrestling, but he's just boring to me.

Umm, if he didnt get put in evolution he would be in TNA right now..

 

And mic skills are half the battle, he's pretty bad on the mic, and pretty bad in the ring....granted he has greatly improved, on the 'big guy/lesnar comparison' scale...he is still 1/10th the all around performer that Lesnar was.

 

Dont get me wrong, I like Batista, but he still sucks at most aspects of the game. He should thank his lucky stars for evolution.

I wrote this long post about Batista and my computer froze up.......In essence...I like Batista..Im glad WWE hasent pushed him to hard like they did with the other 2 big guys..Brock & Goldberg....Cuz if yall remember that was overkill.I cant wait till theres desention in the ranks and Batista starts lookin at Triple H's belt.......So far Batistas in ring work has evolved since 2002 when he arrived in the WWE.....so has his mic work...he actully talks and dont yell like he used to and like Rhyno does now......The slow push while they build up his character is the way to go...and wwe is doin it well.......
