Wow, Carlito sure does make a great first impression. Some great charisma, he gots some good heat. He doesn't look like a bad wrestler either, menace thinks he's a good wrestler after seeing one DDT, but I'll need more to judge.

I know where he's been, and his build....he's definatly smooth....I dont doubt his wrestling ability in the slightest, yes, even after one move....but obviously im gonna want to see the whole thing later.

 

 

JBL on the mic = Flawless.

 

He belongs now easily, with Rock, HHH, Jericho, Flair, Austin.....JBL has absolutaly no trouble whatsoever, never stutters, and with this new character it really shines.

Psycho Sid was a killer mic worker, but he was no master technition in the ring either, lets not forget..

 

Anyway Heidenreich is doing great....I particularly think he should yell more on the mic the stuff he does on the way to the ring, like a maniac..

I wont be too upset, I still love RVD...his time will come...and it'll only come once but damn right it'll come.....think of how long Jericho jobbed for before his really big one, and how often he still jobs in our awaiting his next world title run.

 

Heidenriech should really watch some old sid promo's...but yeah, im sure the ring is where he will really need the help, but you never know....the couple of moves he's done so far have been fine, but selling is the problem....we will see.

I could understand if he was angry to job if he was....well, ric flair...or perhaps the rock...unfortunatly he's not....he should stop bitching and job like the best of wrestlers do....If you are a really true talent, losing wont mean a damn thing.

I dont think of Jeff Hardy like that really..

 

..As far as wrestling ability, I dont think he is the slightest bit technical or smooth.....but I think his main grasp that was, when he was giving his full effort, he was as entertaining as anybody.....I didnt find his wrestling solid at all, and he was known to f*ck up quite frequently, but he did it in a style that was exciting because he was somewhat free to do risky stuff and just wield around his body....not to mention he always seemed the underdog always which must have helped, he's tiny for a wrestler, and was never in shape.....he's since lost it all to me.

 

Granted, he will obviously be back in the WWE one day, if he cleans up his act, or even if he doesnt...but still, he should be happy he's even offered a job untill they need him..

I like everything about him sofar except his 'coming soon' promo's and the talking in his theme song....Its an AWESOME theme song with his stupid voiceover that just doesnt work at all with the song.

You're not the only one who likes his promos noodles, in fact, I actually said that he has some great charisma and he cut a mean promo on the previous page. I'm really liking his character and although his theme music could use a tune up, he's still great and it'll be good to see what WWE does with him as the US champion. I mean, John Cena is going away to Austrailia to film the movie "The Marine', so he'll be out for a few months. I'm hoping someone new can jump up to the US Title division, it's needed desperately right now.

 

 

Meanwhile, it seems that next week, Hardcore Holly is facing JBL in a hardcore match for the title. This could be one of the greatest matches on Smackdown this year, it has the potential at least. If it's taken outside of the building and they use tons of weapons like the old school hardcore matches that WWE use to have then this will be an all out war and will be entertaining as hell.

 

 

But back to the US title division, we need someone to go into that. I'm thinking Jindrak, but heel vs heel stuff just doesn't work in today's business. There's really no one to challenge Carlito unless Booker goes face.....again.

 

 

Another note that's sorta off the topic, Smackdown vs RAW will be released on November 2, 2004. That's under a month, I'm going out to pre order that today along with the other essentials. I got my network adapter ready...do you?

 

 

We are definitely having some online tournaments for SvR, whether it be for the created federation, or the same style as the HCTP RPG i was running earlier, where we can use actual wrestlers, except that you play for your wrestler. It will be totally off the hook if everyone cooperates, but I know that not everyone has a network adapter. I'm thinking that we could start these tournaments in December sometime, maybe even delayed after Christmas since that's a great time for you guys to get the network adapters. 2 months would be a great time to get a feel for the game, and get uber good at it. Then, we will see who's the best in the UWT, and not to mention we can start the SvR RPG!

As it goes with Jeff Hardy I agree that he was one of the most exciting wrestlers but it was because he did all the risky moves and things you've never seen before. He doesnt do that sh*t anymore. He's a mat based wrestler......he has very little skills in the ring. He better tune the f*ck up if he ever wants to be something again.

 

I think Carlito is gonna be huge and he's gonna be like a randy orton or a rock. Who really doesnt have a gimmick other than their name and just being....cool. I think when Carlito is face and doing big things we'll be laughing at his first gimmick.

Obviously I'd say RVD should fill in the US Title run, but I'd also like to see him challenge JBL for the WWE Title. But instead, he's stuck in the patchwork chaos that is the Smackdown Tag Team Division.

 

I never liked Hardcore Holly, I'm surprised he still has a job. And didn't he turn heel with Billy Gunn? At least he's getting his shot out of the way now rather than at a ppv people pay to see.

Anywho, I saw SmackDown! again, I am getting back into the habit, I seem to be enjoying it. Man, Calito is cool, great music, funny gimmick and the right look, the perfect champion! That was all I saw of SmackDown! anywho.

 

I saw half of a show on The Biography Channel called 'Body Slam!', it was really cool showing four people trying to make it big, two of them you know, Fallen Angels Christopher Daniels and Big Jon Hinenrich (SP?). It was really good.

I remember watching a documentry like that on like the Discovery channel like 2 years ago. They were following around like 4 wrestlers trying to make it big and one was John Cena as I remember. He was the 'Prototype'. They followed him around showing what he ate....like tons of eggs and steaks and things like that. Then they showed his house with his dreams of being a great body builder and all. They showed him in training. I swear I could watch that kind of stuff forever.

Its definatly a loop...probably around 20 seconds though, but it just needs some good work done to it.

No, as long as we get some kind of ability to see it. One of the greatest Summerslams ever was in London, and having 80,000 people in an outdoor stadium enriched the event, as it was visually very impressive, and the fans were absolutely rabid as they hardly get to see WWE live.
