Well, I was right when I said that if Orton had a stable, that Bejamin would be a member! I was also right when I said that this handicap match would be a great way to start his little group. Orton/Shelton/Benoit is such a dominating group, all are amazing wrestlers, which is a definite plus. Totally can't wait to see if they actually form a stable or if they'll just be friends or something. Overall, good RAW, it's been better, but that was a pretty damn good RAW. It had some really good matches and the highlight reel was the best it's been in a while.

 

 

Also, yes, you're right Skins, way too many good games coming out this fall. Which is why I got a job!

I loved the opening, HHH's celebration and awesome promo, and Randy Orton crashed it the best way he could. Lawler was hilarious. "This is humiliating! Someone get the champ out of the cake!"

 

One thing I don't get, the fans were chanting USA during the Benoit/Conway match. Benoit's Canadian, Conway defected, and Regal's British. They must have been cheering the ref.

 

This could be the end of Kane's baby. I guess they didn't want to do the pregnancy angle for the rest of the year. I almost felt bad for Kane, but he'll probably beat the sh*t out of Lita next week, as well as that jobber. He's still got that act down of one part Roberts, two parts Sid.

That was next to flawless for a raw....9.5/10 I say.

 

Great Crowd, Great matches, The Diva Segment pwned thanks to Vincent, Randall pwned....Jericho MEGA pwned....easily the most over guy, AGAIN, by a long shot...him and hbk were a pretty great team i must admit.

 

The only thing i didnt totally care for was the kane thing...i like kane....the fans usually enjoy his segments...but goddamn its unfortunate it has to revole around totally unrealistic pregnanct angles

 

A great example of how a crowd can drastically change the excitment of an event.

 

Ending was killer too...must see for all you late viewers...Rko! Rko!

 

@Phil - The really masterful part of the sig is the blurry, yet still noticable guy giving Christian the finger.

Yep i saw Unforgiven last night(on tape) the ladder match was the best and Orton should of won (well i wanted him too).

 

SD vs RAW i can't wait! looks like it is gonna be amazing.

I agree, yet at the same time it was nice to know that Coach would actually be taking some pretty good straights to the nose....Carmella giving the much more painfull blows.

Have they just been keeping the completely unpopular-to-the-crowd Carmella just to can her in the final to the one chick that is actually motivated to be a diva???

I was pondering this last night. I was wondering does Carmella have just such a massive lead that its not even close because of all the casual watchers and even some hardcore/regulars like myself. Then I was thinking with Carmella it's either love her or hate her and I think that who ever was voting for someone other then carmella just kinda kept breaking down to who ever is left thats not Carmella. So in reality it could be really close....or a majority went to Carmella. I wish they posted some numbers at the end of all of this.

Id hope everyone wouldnt be that bias....hopefully at least a few of us would vote for the deserving contestant...back to the whole 'expressing interest and possible a possible long term relationship'.

 

Developement is a huge part as well.

 

If Carmella won, development wouldnt be an option...it would be like "Hey, ill take my contract, do playboy again(boring), and leave when its up because I have zero interest in the buisness"

 

Either way, they are still nearly the least important part of Raw...i'll forget that this competition even happened in a year

I voted for Christy, just because I know Carmella's going to win anyway. I did the same thing on American Idol, I voted for Diana just because I was sick of hearing how great Fantasia was. In the end, this will probably be Wrestlecrap's Gooker Award.

 

In other news, Jamie Noble was released, and there was no explanation why. It's a shame, he's a good wrestler, but you could tell he wasn't going anywhere, and they weren't going to develop his character.

Oh my god....I haven't read the spoilers, again! This means that Smackdown will be twice as good, and hearing about two returns is great. Can't wait to watch it, it'll be on rather soon too.

You know I think SD! is starting to head in the right direction. Theres alot of new faces...some old but old returning faces and right now theres alot of actiong going on. Alot of storylines and alot of excitment. Alot of "whats going to happen next". I was very happy with this weeks SD! For the first time in a long time Im looking forward to the next SD!

The WWE can shove Viscera up their asses tho. They seem to be playing up that they were all former members of the Ministry. Sadly this will probably mean they will tone down or eliminate Gangrel's awesome vampireness and make him a generic goon for Taker to beat up during his feud with JBL. Looks like Million Dollar Corporation II. Gangrel should be the one to feud with Taker come Survivor Series, not Heidenreich.

 

Meanwhile, it's kind of funny what they're doing to the Dudleys. Spike bullying around Bubba and kicking D-Von in the ballsac. They're afraid of him after they beat the sh*t out of him time and again in the past.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Gangrel has one of the greatest images ever. His entrance was pure gold. Bastion Booger was fresh when he first came in, that didn't make him a good worker or a good character. The only redeeming quality about Heidenreich's segment last night was that it meant he didn't have to get in the ring. His "ability" may rival that of Nathan Jones or even Goldberg. Heyman should save his breath, he deserves a manager the level of Harvey Wippleman.

I remember when Gangrel was big back in the day. I loved his entrence as well. The blood bath and the whole Brood story line was just UGH! I loved it. Gangrel was rise from the stage on his knee with his blood cup. Knod his head to his entrence songs beat. Take a sip spit it out. Wrestle. Mint.
