Or a Vista themes which doesn't need any other programs (i've already patched the file at the beginning of the thread)? Thanks! I always use Vista Transformation Pack by Windows X. The biggest advantages are : no more Ram complaints, no more self patching, and being the closest possible imitation of Windows Vista. Don't install any other style themes, just click and enjoy(Ignore the warnings though which will crop up during installation). Download link here: Vista Transformation Pack 5.5 Remember to say Thanks to me You can check out other works by the same creator WindowsX here: Windows X shrine

But I'm just a bit worried, if I install it, then I want to use my old theme can I do that? And it says it'll change system files, so how would it affect my computer? Will it be the same? Pranjal
That is what distinguishes VTP from other theme packs. Don't worry, dude.Have a nice nap. VTP will do everything for you. The biggest advantage is that when VTP gets installed , it keeps the default system files in reserve. So, when you uninstall it, your default Windows system files will be restored. You can even use your default files while VTP is still being installed. To remove your doubts, I will give an example: Say, if the default Windows system files are"A", VTP will replace it with "A+B" files. So, even if you uninstall VTP, it will just remove the "B" files. vALKYR
Well...@vALKYR- Vista? I guess it is... just saw your E: disc. I like the background... even though its a bit too bright for my taste. Did you make it yourself? You do know that if I had Windows Vista on, I'd have "Windows Vista" as C:\ and "Windows XP" as E:\, right? darthYENIK
I got bored so I went looking for a good picture off the internet to transform into my new desktop. I didn't do much, just went to Brandonbird.com, and used the painting 'No one wants to play sega with Harrison Ford'. Basically I just lengthened the cords and put a matching border, to make it a 1280x1024 sized image. Just wanted to get that out of the way, so no one flames me for taking credit for the actual art work. I DID NOT PAINT THIS...

It's WindowBlinds + Styler + grafixeye.deviantart.com + Windows XP Professional Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr There sould be no difference on what disc eighter OS is. You can have them on the same disc too... tough Im not really recommending it. It looks quite similar to the real Vista nevertheless.

Loman
Here is my current desktop: The visual style is VistaPerfection X4 RCX for Windowblinds. You can find an msstyle version here. I am also using styler toolbar, which is included with the VS. The wallpaper is "Vista RTM" and can be found here. The icons on the left are in RocketDock, and the sidebar on the right is the actual Vista sidebar, ported to XP. I wish I could provide a download link for it, but M$ made the person take the file down, luckily I got it first. Oh yeah, Vista Transformation Pack 6 is expected to be released next week. edit: Vista Transformation Pack 6 RC1 is out now Edited November 25, 2006 by Loman
Mr. Hym.
My Desktop Got rid of the taskbar and used ObjectDock. Note the three icons at the far right. Those are my minimized windows. Guess what the hangman word is.

jarjar
FunkyChunky, that wallpaper is indeed very nice. Considering last time I downloaded any of of Rockstar they we're all of places around the R* US Office, it is good to see some more technically advanced ones, as to speak.
