Digital Murders Posted October 4, 2004 Share Posted October 4, 2004 (edited) This is a desktop theme I've been making for the past few days. I named it the "8-bit Theme." The Desktop Icons Cursors The difference between the two duck cursors is that the "Busy" duck icon flaps its wings. The "Working in background" icon doesn't. Appearance They're are still some cursors/icons I don't have (I.E. - My Documents and My Pictures Icons, and the resize icons, the unavailable icon, etc) pics for because I just have thought of anything yet. Anyone have any ideas. Should I make more icons or just leave it the way it is. The theme doesn't complete to me yet. P.S. - There's also a "Startup" and "Shutdown" screen. The Startp screen says 1-Player 1-FloorReady The Shutdown screen says Game Over. There are also various game sounds on the theme. Also, there's a screensaver that randomly flashes (8-bit) game "Press Start" screens and plays random music from the classic games. The thing is, I'm using some evaluation version of some program to use it, so I can't save it as a screensaver file for others to use. Well, what do you think? Should I add more or do you think it's fine the way it is? -Delightfully Geeky... Hackah That's f*ckin awesome. I'd post mine, but I'd get b& for the nudity and such. If you open Style XP, and go to Visual Styles, one of them should be called Community. Then pick the color scheme ThemeXP. If you don't have it, then I don't know.
