lesfleanut Posted March 7, 2003 Share Posted March 7, 2003 (edited) THE F*CKNG UXTHEME.DLL PATCH Uxtheme.dll is the file that regulates what kind of visual styles will work for xp. The original uxtheme.dll that comes with windows makes it so the themes have to be certified by Microsoft. This Uxtheme.dll patcher lets you use tons of different skins if you want without running any extra programs that take up resources (like style xp, windowblinds, object desktop... the list goes on) I have been manually doing the Uxtheme.dll patch for a while, it's not all that hard but most people aren’t all that computer savvy. Anyways, I just found this today... It patches the Uxtheme.dll file automatically. It works on versions of XP without SP1, I haven’t tried with SP1 but I’m sure it will work. It couldn’t be much easier than this. You can get the image, and check out his other works Here. Oh, and that 102 in the corner in red is how hot it was outside when the pic was taken. It rose to 112 sometime later in the day. You need to save the pic in .jpg or.gif format then find a place to host it on the internet. Try signing up at rottenass's fhost.org. I'd post mine, but it is a horrible mess.
