The story missions were a little short but have you got 100% and unlocked all the little extras yet?

You are'nt a true Vice master unless you have!!

Just small things like The T shirt and Bodyguards etc...and the satisfaction of having 100% and being a Vice City Master!!

I think Vice was much better and longer than GTA3, and the missions were much more varied and interesting, I just wish "Keep Your Friends Close" had been better, maybe something along the lines of "Lance escapes in helicopter, then Phil comes up with a Hunter and you have to chase Lance down" that would've made my day.

My suggestion to those who complete these games so quickly is to find something else to do. Whether it be other activities and other games, it doesn't matter. I've been playing Vice for nearly two weeks and still have plenty to do. I spent a couple of hours on it each of the first two days mainly just driving around and enjoying the view. Since then the longest I've played is an hour on any given day (and I don't play EVERY day). Games will last longer that way.

yes if some people can just get a real life out there, games wouldn't be as boring wow.gif

Now how would that have anything to do with games getting boring? That makes no sense I'm sorry to say...

I just bought the game a week ago, and I'm just about done with the Story missions, but that usually is what gets me into the game. After that I may 100% it. Vice City's storyline isn't that great. GTA3 had a bad ass mission at the end, and it made you wonder 'what happens'.

"romance at short notice was her speciality."

i found Vice City to short, it took me less than 5 days to get 100%(i only had about 5 hours of game time in it). of course i played it for about a month then got bored of it because i noticed that it was getting to repidtive.

the reason why it so short is because the game is limited. Its limited because the all mighty PS2 wouldnt allow the game to go past 1 cd. If they were to make Vice City onto about 4 cd's then each city you go to would prob be another cd. Dont forget each cd needs to have all the info like car models, and ped models, sound, and your model. so that takes up alot of space. last time i checked it took 300 mb on my pc.

NOW if it was made for the PC, it wouldnt be limited. You are alloud to have 20 cd's and you can only use 1 cd to play. all you have to do is wate 10 minutes for the game to install 20 cd's onto your hardrive and use 1 cd to play the game. The pc doesnt require loading stuff off 20 cd's instead it will load it off the harddrive and speed up the proccess. Not only that the game would be much better looking, and overall better in every aspect than it already is.

But of course rahkstar.gif is getting millions of dollars from Sony and they dont give a s*** about us gamers.

1) Do it again, in a different order.

2) Download mods and play it again WITH the mods

3) 1 Word....madness

Theres no need to do all your missions at once, take your time, do one mission a day etc. Thats what i did anyway

I thought the general plot of Vice City was kind of weak. GTA3's story line and plot kept moving right along, and each mission built off of the last one and it was easy to understand the story, even if you didn't play for a week at a time. Vice, lacked in that department. It was more the brainless ruining around shoot 'em up blow 'em up with no real point to the game.

Even with that considered, I like Vice more. It's probably the setting and the cars I've found to replace the game's vehicles. While it was nice to have the "little extras" in Vice, I would rather have fewer "little extras" and a longer story line.

And I have a job, and a life, and a fionce, and it only took me about a week to finish Vice and I didn't even get frustrated and do a hard shut down on my computer once. A game isn't good unless you get frustrated and vent your anger out on your computer.

-Sorry about writing a novel.

GTA3 was a lot newer and you had to adapt to the whole concept.

Vice City was very alike to GTA3 and therefor most people who played it were very skilled allready.

The first time you play a shoot em up game in your life is gonna take more time then when you've done it thousands of times.
