eagles20015
I got GTAVC installed in my computer and after the title screen the screen turns white and restarts my computer. My comp specs are a little bit below minimum requirements. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Edited July 15, 2003 by eagles20015

Mr. Wongs
The only thing that might be causing the problem is your insufficient system resources.
McHriss
Could you post your system settings? Video card, RAM, Processor Speed, etc.
eagles20015
16mb graphics card 450mhz processor The rest of my specs are better than good enough I heard people say you can overclock your processor speed but I have no idea how to do it. Are there any mods I could download to make it run better? And I think I'm gettin a new comp within a few months but I really dont wanna wait. 1337jman
Windows 2000/XP: go to.... Start > Settings > control panel > system > advanced tab > startup and recovery uncheck automatically reboot and instead of rebooting, you should get a blue screen which should have a driver somewhere on the blue screen then you can see what may be causing the problem but your video card seems very low so I would assume it's not good enough

LanceVanceDance2
No offense or anything but your computer is NOWHERE near good enough to run GTA3 let alone GTAVC even if you overclocked you'd need: 800 MHz Intel Pentium III or 800 MHz AMD Athlon or 1.2GHz Intel Celeron or 1.2 GHz AMD Duron processor 128 MB of RAM 8 speed CD / DVD drive 915 MB of free hard disk space (+ 635 MB if video card does NOT support DirectX Texture Compression) 32 MB video card with DirectX 9.0 compatible drivers ("GeForce" or better) Sound Card with DirectX 9.0 compatible drivers Keyboard & Mouse To run it pretty crappily with slow-assed gameplay. And a 16Mb Graphics card doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of running Vice City. Go play GTA2 or MAYBE GTA3(I got it to run on a 16mb laptop VERY slowly). *EDIT* Also it doesn't run on Win95 98 or above im afraid Edited July 18, 2003 by LanceVanceDance2
