Chunky Lee Chong's 100% Tic Sheet

Let me anaylise all of this ::

Police Car - Its good for doing the viglante missions, but not the best. Its very fast, but traffic can disturb your root, and it can be easily damaged.

FBI Car - Again, extremely fast, perhaps a little faster than the average police car, good for chases, but it is still easily damaged.

Tank - Excellent for destruction, it can't be damaged atall unless it flips, but its very low on speed and not so good for chasing.

Hunter - Extremely fast, very destructable, but if you make one wrong move, you can blow yourself up, and it can be difficult to control at times because of the speed. If you get use to the Hunter, then its probably the best vehicle to use for the Vigilante missions. smile.gif

okay, i have done every single thing in the game that needs to be done in order to reach 100%, except the paramedic missions. but it says i have 98% completion, and i'm wondering if completing the paramedic mission will award you with 2%, thus making me get 100%.

no it wont'

i was on 98% earlier with only the paramedic mission and 1 hidden package left to accomplish from the tic sheet

i beat the paramedic mission level 12, checked my stats and it was still on 98%, got the last hidden packege and it increased to 99%

You can't ask for more than this..

http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?act=ST&...T&f=69&t=104936

Theres where you go for help with the paramedic missions. wink.gif And as for firetruck missions, I'll get back to ya if that link i just gave you doesnt help anymore. But if that helps you with the paramedic missions, you should be able to do the firetruck missions no problem atall, as the paramedic misisons are a lot tougher.

EDIT :: Fire guide missions, here we are ::

That should help you. smile.gif

I got a bit of a tip for "The Driver", it's the way I completed it.

First get a Hotring Racer and place it at the next set of lights from the start position, preferably on the left hand side of the road. Cut off the doors with a chainsaw or the like to save more time if you need to. Then, once you start, floor it and smash straight in to a tree or one of the poles near the Hotring you placed. This will stop you completely with no braking time, and it's quicker than bailing. Then quicky jump out and get in your placed car, (no door opening time if you cut the doors off), and start racing. Doing it in this car is pretty easy cause it has good speed + handling, also, when the cops ram you, it doesn't throw you off too much in this car. You'll need to do the race a few times to find out where the cops spawn, and so you can pick good lines to take through the course.

I passed after a few tries with this method. Hope it helps. biggrin.gif

EDIT: This is for the PS2 version. I don't think anything is different from the PC version, but if you have problems, this may be why.

Hmm, I have one question that is irrelevant to The Driver, but which has been bugging me and I didn't want to start a new topic...

So... what are the things that look like rampage missions but have a star thingy instead of a skull? I tried everything but I still haven't worked out what it is yet... Once though, when a gang attacked me as I walked into one, it disappeared, but there was no text telling me what it was about...

Also, for G-Spotlight, I used a police chopper (located near the office building) instead of a bike. I kept falling and on my laggy computer, that was frustrating, esp since I hadn't worked out that handbrakes helped turning biggrin.gif .

Oh yeh wait, forgot, can anyone be more specific on the location of the RC Topfun vans? I managed to find the Baron one totally by accident but haven't succeeded in finding the other 2...

A star, obviously a police bribe.

G-Spotlight can indeed be done with a helicopter, the pink dots will disappear, no matter what vehicle you use.

About the Top Fun Vans. There's one near the dirtbik track on ocean beach on the beach. There's one on top of the parking garage near the north point mall. The third one is on the airport, from havana, pass sunshine auto's, go right towards the airport, first left, it's behind the gate.

When u say 45+ for the shooting range, do u mean after the mission where u have to get 60 to pass? or just when ur fooling around and u walk in there and have a go.

Plus a tip for sunshine Autos racing; instead of waiting at the starting grid for the 3, 2, 1, GO, just drive straight pass them and clip on of the cars and the race is on. The other cars have to start from a complete stop and u are already travelling fast. this gives u a big lead plus the bonus of not having to get around there sh*t diriving that will put u off the road. I don't know how obvious this is for anyone coz i found it pretty easy but just in case people are having trouble.

Vigilante Tip;

Try and get ur hands on a tank and chuck it in a garage. To get one shoot at the opening in the front of the tank to kill drivers, and make sure there are no cops around to bust u when u get in, as the tank is slow u cannot make them fall off. Also don't try to chase people in the tank as this makes it very hard, try and cut them off and have head ons with them. Sometimes shooting them with the tank missiles work, but it is hard to get the missiles to aim down, i handbrake just before i shoot, and this only works sometimes.

I'm just wondering when you get to do the final missions... After everything else? I done all rampages, 8 or something Unique Jumps and 90 something Hidden Packs... I've completed most of the other missions, bought all properties and set up all assets, except the Cherry Popper... Which reminds me, how many transactions before you pass the Distribution mission? I got kicked out by a PIG after 11...

Oh wait, forgot, I've robbed all stores too... For Sunshine Autos... on the Tic Sheet, it says Garages 1-4... Does that mean have cars in those garages?

Not to be overly critical, but could you clarify "When you leave the malibu, drive down and go left, up the grass,..."

I think "down" is the problem. is that south?

Nice work, I'll add it, but not right now. I'm actually thinking of re-constructing this topic, to make it a bit nicer. In order to make it much eaiser for newer members to read, I'll place all of the tips in a nice table, and of course I'll get the nice banner back up, which seems to have been de-hosted. mad.gif

Thought I'd add my tips - I'm not sure what percentage I've got yet, but I've passed all the story missions so here's my 2 cents' worth.

Police Cheetah - Vigilante missions.

There is a very good reason for using this vehicle. It's undercover, so spray shops don't know it's a Police car, and will respray it for you. Start your mission at the Airport, and with a bit of luck ALL your levels will be there (the new criminals spawn near you when you dispose of the previous ones). Then when you have taken a little damage or have two stars, go to the spray shop under the Car Showroom. After a couple of levels you should find you easily have enough time left to do this and get back to the airport to deal with the guys you left there. I finished 12 Vigilante missions with 16 minutes left on the clock. Of course the best way to kill the criminals is by shooting their cars with a rocket launcher or minigun. This kills everyone in the car at once.

Distribution Mission

Drive out of the Ice Cream factory and turn left. Head up towards the Downtown area until you see the hotel on your left with a big pool in front of it. Drive into its car park, down to the back and come back out again - there will be lots of pedestrians there. Keep providing them with the goodies until nobody else is interested, or until you have 2 stars. Then head back down where you came from and pay a quick visit to the Pay & Spray. Repeat as necessary.

Sir, Yes Sir (stealing the tank)

I've read guides that tell you to knock the door off the tank, but you get shot by the soldiers if you try. The best way is, let the convoy move on until the reach the deli (just past the Ice Cream Factory, and the officer in charge will order one of his men to go and get him some doughnuts. He gets out of the tank, and you can get in and drive straight off.

The Driver

Not too much fun (imho) if you swap cars part way through - feels a little too much like cheating. I prefer to manipulate the pre-set timings. You get to know when the police cars will come at you, and which corners are bad. If you play it just right, you can make it so the police cars ram Hilary instead of you. Especially good on the corner by the Hospital where two police cars come at you from opposite directions.

The Job

When you get out of the taxi and cross the road to get to the Bank, run round the building (turn left and head along the side, all the way to the back) and go out onto the road. Jack a car (preferably a four-seater) and reverse it up the concrete ramp behind the bank. Leave it there and go round the front to continue with the mission. Then, after you get back out of the bank you find you don't have to run past the Police blockade, just head round the back (making sure Phil comes with you) and get into your parked car. Then head for the Pay & Spray. The cops will still be after you so it's better if you have a car which has good traction, to stop you getting flipped too easily.

Thanks for the praise Leo.

I had a couple of others which I trimmed out at the last minute, but I may as well post them as I have no idea how useful they may or may not be. So here we go....

Messing With The Man

My method for this level is to make sure I have loads (50+) of rockets before I start, then get on one of the Angels immediately and drive off to your right, onto the grass. Stop by the wall and turn around - you're facing the set of stairs leading up to the Skumole Shack. Ride up the stairs, and past the shack, bearing left. Get off the bike and stand in the very corner overlooking the main road. Nobody will follow you up there. Then you simply fire rockets down at anything that moves. Whenever possible, aim for PEOPLE, not cars, as they count more. Then when you've finished you can ride your bike straight off the edge of the building and go down to the Pay & Spray - it's not far at all.

Martha's Mug Shot

The guides I've read tell you to go in the side door of the hotel opposite Shrub's apartment and go up the stairs to the balcony. Which is all well and good if you want to get shot to pieces on your way back down. Instead, land your Sparrow on the ledge on the front of the hotel, and you're at exactly the right height to take the photos. Then you can just get straight back into the Sparrow and head back to the film studio without worrying about the FBI.

Oh, and a little 'tip' regarding the Haitian mission where you have to shoot the Cubans without them noticing.... take the gun and deliberately fail the mission as many times as you like - infinite free sniper rifle ammo!!

Doing G-Spotlight in a Heli doesn't affect anything.

Check gamefaqs.com for a listof the jumps to go over.

I doubt the Hotring Racer will took it up 2%.

smile.gif There is actually a EASIER WAY to complete ''messing with the man''

first make sure u have a lot of assualt rifle ammo, then blow up 1 car

and keep on shooting at it (even when its blown up) and the bar will

eventually be filled up smile.gif
