HELP ME with this problem

I just installed the game.  When I get into it, I the hightlighted option keeps cycling and peroidcally selects the option it's currently on.  I also can control it but it just keeps cycling.  How can I fix this???

Come on, can't anyone help me?  I have re-installed the game 4 times, inatalled new mouse and video drivers.  There are no game controllers installed.

I can't believe someone can't help me witht his problem.  I run Win XP home with SP1 and 256 MB Ram and 30GB hd

wow, try not to quadrople post dude. but make sure any controllers arent even connected, and whats your mouse/keyboard setup?

I have a cordless Logitech internet Keyboard and Cordless Optical Mouse

does it do this when you arent even touching the mouse or keyboard, or does it do it all the time?

It does it as soon ad I get into the main menu for GTA:VC.  I still can move the mouse around and select the options but it still doet and I'm getting a little peeved at it.  I returned the CD and got a new one, but still the same.
