Jesus Christ, I've never seen anything like that since I was playing Duke Nukem 3D and messed around with no clipping. :dontgetit:

Heh, reminds me of playing Everquest, and having a little too much to drink.  :D

Hmm, looks like you need to invest in a new graphics card.  Maybe an ATI or GeForce, since those two or meant for games.

Yeh, I have the same problem, and also the same graphics card. A few other people on here also had the same problem with an S3 graphics card, and currently I am awaiting a response from Take2Support.

But, I have found that this bug doesn't happen when in 32 bit color mode... (i.e. resolution of 800 x 600 x 32 instead of 800 x 600 x 16).

Let me know if it works for you too.

Don't expect Take2 to respond to problems when using integrated graphics chipsets.  They are not meant for anything above MSWord.  Trying to play Vice City on a computer not setup for gaming is like trying to dragrace in a Perenial.

Just spend a little money (as low as $29.99 if you don't mind doodie framerates) and the game will work fine (not to mention thousands of other games that will also look like awful if work at all via your Savage).  Just make sure you don't buy an AGP card if you don't have an AGP slot.  You'll probably be limited to at best a Geforce 4 MX 64mb PCI card (based on the presumption that most systems still saddled with Savages tend to have PCI only Celeron/Duron MoBo's)

S3 Savage is like a card that always end up in the

''this-game-might-have-problem-with-these-3d-cards'' square.

BUY A NEW ONE!! And stick to the mainstream cards, Ati(Radeon) and Nvidia(Geforce)...

Looks to me like the video chip isn't parsing any of the D3D fog table emulation-type stuff; hence the sky isn't being rendered, and only trails of the previous objects are left in memory. I'm suprised the game runs at all on an on-borad chip. So really, I think all you can do is buy a new graphics card. :(

your best bet would be to get a gf fx 5200 (pci) or a powercolor radeon 9000 64mb, also pci. both a good cards (for pci anyway  :dozing: )
