pappas99 0
when i installed the game and went to play it, the sound is all stuffed, the radio stations and mp3 stations and speech in cutscenes etc work but the menu sounds and in game ambience and pedestrian speech, vehicle sounds etc are all really distorted and fuzzed up like when you have tuned a radio to a frequency that doesnt have a radio station there. i tried downloading and installing directx 9 ( i had 8.1), didnt work, i tried updating my very old sound drivers to the latest (i have creative vibra 128), didnt work, in fact directx 9 seems to make the game run slower than 8.1 did. i tried installing it at university just now and the sound works fine!. has anyone had this problem before? i never had this problem on gta3. pappas99 0
same game engine used in both games, gta vice runs better than gta3 for 90% of people who have both due to better coding, so requirements dont mean sh*t
