vice city - AUDIO PROBLEMS- No sound EFX

for all running XP and have SB cards have you updated to SP1 yet? my friend got the no audio hardware emssage too in windows not in vice then he updated to SP1 and all was fine. my sugggestions is try getting a hold of SP1 and see if that fixes it.
