error when loading a game

Hi, i bought vice city on saturday and have got around 6 cars from GTA3 installed and the game has been working fine since i got it.......until last night, i updated my graphics card drivers and went into the game and i went to load my game up like usual and the loading bar got to about 5% and froze, so i press CTRL+ALT+DEL and it returned to the desktop with vice city on the task bar, and there was an error in the middle of screen that looked like this:

It does this all the time, i cannot work out why, please help.
