Frozenn 0
I installed GTA Vice City. When I try to run it the loading bar freezes at about 40%... It seems it can't find some files but it doesn't say what! I tried to reinstall a lot of times. I have all drivers updated: video, audio, directx). I also tried to patch to versione 1.1 but in vain. My spec: Athlon XP 1800 Geforce 4 MX 460 256 Mb RAM Help me pls

Taf 0
hmm that would a hard one to work out? if it installs ok then the game is prob,ok. have you updated your 4in1 drivers for your mobo?. dont know if this will work but if you do a search on goggle and download dx buster take out 9.0 and put in 8.1 then run the game see if it will work then. But my best save at 82% with access to mainland doesnt load! the bar completes, but then it says 'loading game, please wait...' i hear a bell and somekind of error.. wtf is that? well, it seems i changed main.scm a bit, anyone has a backup? Taf 0
sorry to hear that it still dont work:-( now the only thing i can think of now is loading your directx diagnostic tool and checking thats everything is ok.(start/prog/acc/system tools/system info.it`s in the tools option in there.) also try putting your hardware sound down a notch in the directx diagnostic tool sound to standard acc.see if it will start then. sometimes that can fix games as well. i hope you can solve the prob,as your missing a realy good game. not much help but anythings worth a try:-)
