Jager
I just bought the Axis pad from Walmart. Everything in the game works ok, except one thing. The right analog stick seems to be off by 90 degrees. In windows, the gamepad setup shows the pad as working correctly (i push the stick up, the computer registers it as up.) However, in the game, when I push the stick up, my character turns left. This goes the same all the way around on that particular analog stick. up = left right = up down = right left = down Has anyone else had this problem or know a solution to this? (it also does the same thing on my friends gamepad, which is the same model)
molloni
I have the same pad but I don't have that problem. I remember reading something where if you have a serial joystick plugged in, that tends to screw the game up. I will say this about the Axis Pad - I'm on my thrid one...the only reason is because when I was playing GTA3, I could not find an inexpensive pad that was the same as layout as the PS2. The Logitech ones at the time, while much more durable, didn't have as many buttons. But now you can get an adapter to plug (I guess) a PS2 pad into the USB port. If my current Axis breaks, I will look into that.
