Okay cool, but why Asthma specifically? I never really associated that specific ailment as a huge financial burden, I know the U.S has.... issues with affordable healthcare but surely its not that bad right? Not bad enough to need to create a massive city spanning criminal empire and sell like 50 billion grams of cocaine to be able to afford it right? was Asthma like aids or something? like was it much more dangerous back then? I was doing a playthrough recently and I kinda spiralled into doing a whole bunch of side content after boomshine blowout. And really besides one rampage most of it was like legal stuff, the dirt track races, paramedic, the balloon popping and such. And I'm looking at the money going up. And I was asking myself, is this not enough Vic? enough to bury our dear brother in inhalers for like a year or two? could he not just f*ck off to Escobar with this money and not get involved with Marty, Louise, Umberto and all that bullsh*t and drama?. Not exactly a massive economic burden, but we are not American Vic's sick brother was IMHO a mere plot device to "justify" all the sh*t he and Lance did. A poor way to make him seem more "human". Would have been nice to hear from Enid and Pete sometime in the game other than anonymous pager messages that you forget the minute after you read them. Would gladly trade that over some of the Louise missions. Gonorrhea and pubic lice were, but I don't recall AIDS being so. And also, the asthma story might as well have been a cover-up. Would have made much more sense.
