I took screenshots to show the issue. It happens on Vice City Stories too.

Some textures at medium and high distances have a flickering problem. I hope some day we will have a fix for the best experience of gaming.

Also LCS has an issue with the wheels of pedestrian cars, and they look like square wheels at middle and high distances.

Any idea?

cant remember

The Z-Fighting is a general technical limitation of emulating the PS2 on a PC. You will see it with GTA3/Vice City/San Andreas on PCSX2 aswell, and numerous other games.

Has soemthing to do with the PS2 hardware calculating depth in a way that's impossible to do with regular GPU's.

Only solution is to run in software mode but then you lose other hardware mode benefits, I'd love to see this fixed too sometime in the future.

The square wheels happens on real hardware too, it's because the game loads ugly LOD models of the cars that are further away. It's a much bigger eyesore for you because you seem to run at a very high resolution, on real hardware the game is much more blurry and the square wheels blend in better with the rest of the pixelated mess.

On software mode I can see the Z-Fighting too. Maybe it's exclusive from the emulator.

I also disabled the mipmaping. Better graphics on the road, but perhaps can't hide the wheels glitch.

Strangely, in GTA Vice City stories that issue of the wheels not happen.
