... I got the marshall sale. I thought it would be a good time to use the iron mule to speed it up but.. it was unable to lift the marshalls (or I failed doing it)... had to complete it the almost trad way.. almost in that I first drove both marshalls close to the first yellow spot to save time, and then did the sales. The npc were not happy about it: during the first vehicle sale they were silent, didn't shoot an bullets and their helis kept on crashing! During the second vehicle sale, they were back to their obnoxious normal.

The Weed Farm has more production stages than the other businesses. If you've completed the Setup mission and entered active production, your Weed Farm progresses through 5 stages where you watch the Weed plants grow and mature. The process differs a little bit if it was your first time starting up the business and just completed the setup mission. So let's just talk about the active production part instead, assuming everyone did the setup already.

 

This marks the beginning of the post-setup production stage:

This is the final post-setup production stage, where all Weed plants have fully matured:

Each production stage lasts 10 minutes, or 5 minutes with the Equipment upgrade. This process goes through 5 stages, totaling 50 minutes, or 25 minutes with the Equipment upgrade. Once the final stage is reached and processed, 4 units of supply are consumed, or 2 units instead with the Equipment upgrade. Processed as in it resets back to the beginning of the production stage above.

 

A fully upgraded Weed Farm consumes 2 units of supply for each unit of product produced. With full supplies, this should yield around 50 units of material over 100 minutes, roughly two and a half bars of product. However, during those 100 minutes, four 25-minute production stage cycles occur, each consuming 2 units of supply. This results in a loss of 8 supply units, reducing the final output to 42 units of material, within 100 minutes.

 

The production stages aren't synced with when you maximize your product bar. You could maximize it by the third stage, or the fourth stage. So this may explain the inconsistencies you've observed with the Weed business.

Occasionally coke gives me a little less than normal.

OK...but once I've used up all supplies, the production stage should zero....until new supplies arrive.  So if one buys one set of supplies and waits for it to be used, it *ought* to give consistent results.  The fact that it doesn't I guess must mean that the production stages, what, cycle round independently?  

 

In which case there's an optimum point for the purchase of supplies (allowing for the 10 minute delivery time) - is there a visual indication of when that is?  (the answer is probably - nobody has ever cared enough!)

Nothing different, just wheels. The van is heavier in adversary mode but still it's same one, just a edited setting.

Thanks for the info. It's pretty bizarre (but perfectly in line with R* design) that this only applies to the Weed business, are there any other MC businesses with similar hidden mechanics? As @Jamwes mentioned above, Coke business seems to be giving inconsistent stock too.

 

Some follow-up questions if you don't mind, numbers below assuming both Equipment and Staff upgrade:

1. Is this 5-stage, 25-minute cycle a constant timer that ticks down for as long as production is active (i.e. stock not full and supplies not empty), AND is completely independent from the 4-minute timer (or 2 minutes this week) that actually results in stock being produced?

2. Is there anything that causes this 5-stage cycle to pause or go slower? I've noticed that my full supply bars this week (gotten via Stash House) have resulted in in 47, 45, and 49 units, which seems to be implying that the 25-minute cycle has occurred less than 4 times.

3. How is it possible that the full supply bars are resulting in an odd number of stocks when all the numbers above are even? Is there some sort of leftovers/partial mechanic?

About coke (no product and empty supply bar):

- Purchase supplies and wait until it's produced;

- When production process is over, it should show 1.5/5 bars of product what is exactly one vehicle for sale;

- If you see 2/5 bars of product, then there was a minor amount of supplies left and it got produced cumulatively because of that minor supplies remaining. Go to any street dealer and sell coke. One sale is 0.5 of the bar.

There is something up with the green 420 festival outfit. Keeps disappearing from saved outfits like it’s blacklisted or something.

Just wanted to brag....sold a full warehouse of weed totalling 945k (inc. Bonus)

One vehicle sale, 2 mile drive.

 

Invite only, thought about risking a public lobby but probably would have given me 3 garbage trucks😝

Draugur this week on sale.

but new players or who started new character on enhanced version can't unlock the trade price,

need to complete 10 cayo perico series races, but they are not active this week.

R* really need to pay attention for these things...

really missed opportunity.

They added an alternative unlock requirement with the San Andreas Mercenaries update. Just complete Project Overthrow - Reporting for Duty.

Even though I hate MC sell missions, I did a full Weed sale so that I could get the hoodie. Luckily, I got the Pounder truck which only took 2.5 minutes to complete the sale. Quick and easy $945K, now I'm back to ignoring MC businesses.

To keep me busy while the NC accrues weed, I've been grinding (kinda) weed - I had 3x postal in one sell and then 3x garbage in another  to sell the results of a single 75k purchase.  Made them both, and clearly I must have been at 51% capacity or something, but felt quite cheated!  

 

Instead of increasing the time, R* could have capped the number of vehicles at 2 if associates = 0 (ideally the two vehicles also need a 10-20% power buff as well)

 

Finally got my NC weed full, delivered it and now have the memorial brick in the safe, so have had everything I could have wanted out of this week.

Maybe we should up the ante to a wear that outfit during the whole event week each time he plays gta!

I got a Speed Bonus with a 3 boat Weed Sale. Bumped the final sale price to 1.4 million! I think the boat sale is better because ain’t no one gonna bother much trying to interrupt a Sale waaay over on the far side of San Andreas.
