game freezing after i exploded Catalina's helicopter in "The Exchange".

recently i just got to the last mission and after i explode the helicopter, the game just decides to freeze. i did install a few mods but not too much to make the game crash as i have experienced installing mods for san andreas which is a pain in the neck to do.

 

any tips? the shivers that is going down my spine after a hell of a playthrough could freeze my balls too.

 

edit: nevermind, found the solution. after exploding the helicopter, quickly get to Maria.
