Tommy Depressi
Missions with multiple choices, hidden possibility or freedom of approach. I know 4 pushed this type of thing a lot, don't remember if 5 had much of it HazeRider 1 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/1000753-favorite-things-in-gta/#findComment-1072510406 Share on other sites

Lioshenka
GTA3's train. I don't use it often for its intended purpose, but I feel it adds so much to the overall atmosphere of the game. GTA SA has loads, but I can't remember any of them because they are just part of the gaming experience now. I would like to note, however, one massive thing, literally: the countryside. It adds a huge amount of fun to the game and weeks of additional activities. HazeRider
GTA V had some of it, especially in the heists where you could pick different crews and approaches. But outside of that, I don’t think choices mattered as much as they did in IV Edited March 3 by HazeRider Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/1000753-favorite-things-in-gta/#findComment-1072511805 Share on other sites

Between the side missions, off-road races, and just getting lost on the backroads, it makes the game feel endless. smokeless6
Helicopters I'm an old flight sim junkie, having flown just about every one that has come down the pike. The flight model in GTA is a joke. The controls are awkward. Flying a helo in GTA feels like being in a small boat on choppy waters, bobbing about to and fro. But despite that, I absolutely love flying helicopters around this map. Around skyscrapers, under bridges, down back alleys, and setting it down at my various properties around the map like a butterfly with sore feet. It's so bad yet so good at the same time.
