Boomerbang31
I had a modded GTA IV copy that worked for a while, but due to my exams I had to stop playing for a week. When I decided to play again, the game kept crashing with the last file loading being "gamebuttons360.wtd". Note, I have not updated my system and haven't modified anything else before my break from the game. I also didn't use steam to launch my game and I used the GTAIV.exe launcher. Luckily I had a backup game copy, but what was strange was when I tried deleting the copy that kept crashing, I was unable to delete a lot of the files in the textures folder because windows said they were "corrupted and unreadable", forcing me to skip them in the deletion process. Image of the files that were skipped: Why I'm bringing this up is because I want to ask if GTA IV slowly deteriorates in the steamapps folder everytime I shut my PC of since this has happened to me before, only now I was lucky enough to have a spare main modded copy installed.
