The Driver - "Mission Failed. Hilary is dead"

After finishing first in the race, the screen says "Mission failed, Hilary is dead", and the screen goes black.

 

It appears that Hilary's car can't get over the bridge to the other island in the race for some reason.

 

There was one attempt where I could see Hilary's arrow sticking out of the ground near the beginning of the race.

 

I really need some help with this, thanks!

This is in the original? Any mods you installed recently? Try removing them and check if that occurs. Post your save on gtasnp and send the link to see  if it happens to me.

Sry, I forgot to update this post to say that I fixed this issue by reinstalling the game (or maybe just following Hilary very closely until the finish line).
