The new lunar tracks are "meh" at best. The "Spectacle' looks like someone who was half asleep made it, at least the beginning section. I do like the nitrous concept, though, which seems to be borrowed from the drag races. However, it would be better if you could add the nitrous ability to other race types and tracks and without the car selection being limited to just 3-4 cars.

V-STR will be the choice out of the bunch.
Also, why can't you launch the "featured series" through the phone?

The safe capacity is still $250K, but the payout for nightclub popularity is doubled. So, the nightclub safe is filling two times faster.

Yup, this is what that means. The income itself is 2x, not the total safe amount.

Personally couldn't disagree more, I think they're some of the most creative R* Created races in the entire game right now. The new props, all the particle effects and the mood in general are 10/10. Really like the nitrous mechanic too, which yes, is the one from the Drag Races. Definitely went all out more than usual with seasonal/holiday-themed races this time around.

I popped into PDM, and whoever put the wheels on this bike did a wheely bad job.

gah i'm down to only 3 of those lil chinese newyear trinkets to collect. i've only go the 3 aggro places left. (fort zancudo, kortz center and that altruist camp). i cant even step foot close without causing WW3, idk how to get those :-0

I fully agree with you, except for two points:

  • these races are quite long and when the host selects 3 or more laps, they become too tiring.
  • when the host selects no custom vehicles you get the impression someone enabled the drift feature on your wheels. I tried both the default 300r and the V-STR and they are synonyms to skidding!
  • I can't count the number of times I fell off a race after a stunt jump :)

So yes, fun and creative races, but not races I'd feel motivated to do over and over.

Unless you're doing some personal challenge: Fort Zancudo - call Lester for Cops turn a blind eye or use VIP/CEO ability Bribe authorities; Altruist camp - Bull Shark Testosterone (BST) plus Stone Hatchet and rampage your way through, or maybe parachute closer to location. Also Armoured Kuruma provides decent protection from NPCs as long as you don't let them flank you. I don't recall anything aggro at Kortz Center..

Edit: IIRC the trinket is next to the Altruist camp, not quite inside..

Oh I didnt even consider calling Lester and all that, lol. Yeah I dont know why they aggro'd at Kortz. Maybe cause I was there during night time? I just walked in and a guard immediately started shooting, cops spawning, the whole lot.

Is the trinket not in that watch tower at the altruist camp? Either way, they shart shooting even before I enter the camp 😐

Not sure if it's the watch tower, but it's a construction that's further up the hill and apart from the camp. You could try flying or off-roading there, avoiding going near the altruist camp? Check a guide to see where it is and then plan your approach.

yees! you were right! ✨ I took a heli up there and it was no problem

Kortz center was alright at day time, lol. 🥴

Now I just need to get the one at Zancudo without that guard tweaking

I got a Kortz center guard aggro'd at me because i stepped on the fountain, and it was during the day.

Find a friend who owns a hangar at Zancudo and ask him to become a CEO and hire you. Your presence won't alert the guards anymore at Zancudo.

I've tried a couple of stunt races, in the spirit of the season.

They are utterly appalling.  Too long (when the best lap for a 16 person race is 3:43, you've overdone the design), too much jeopardy, half way around the first lap I'm already sick of it.

Got my livery, it seems. Will be putting it on next time I log in, it does look cool on the Penumbra FF.

You know what? This week time trial may go f**k itself.

I could never actually complete the Mount Chiliad time trial. It's the only one I haven't done. It can go suck gorilla balls.

Got mine as well. I ain't gonna touch any races for a while after getting this livery (and "accidental" WR award for my 2nd character).

The Yaunbao collectible at Zancudo isn’t too far inthe hostile part of the base. Just visit the 2 guards at the front gate and you should find it.

i know, it should be just at the gate i believe. but they go ballistic even before you reach them. and backup teleports instantly behind you as soon as you try anything

bribing authority didnt help me at all, lol.

yesterday i tried just inching up there, hell unleashed, and even after the law lost me, some ragtag nitwit guard or something chased me on foot from zancudo down to the freeway, yelling and shooting like a maniac 😂 he wasnt even a red blip on my map, he just had it in for me i guess lmao

Have you considered purchasing any kind of....aircraft?  Specifically, something with vertical take off.....a "helicopter", I think they call it

I say bah. Take your armored kuruma (and if you don't own one, buy it; it's your best friend in gta). Make sure you're full armor + health. Go full speed towards the guardhouse, hit one guard with the car, shoot at the other, grab the thing, and escape. Try to survive until the game pops-up the notification you collected it. If they kill you afterwards, at least you got the trinket.

If you have to die to get it, at least go out in style.

That sounds like a pretty good tactic. I should probably invest in the armored kuruma at some point.

I mean, it's a good long time investment, dont get me wrong, but as for the yuanbao trinkets, I cant say that spending nearly 700k on an armored car, in order to obtain less than 150k is grade A economics.

I could try just sending a few rockets at them of course, and oh maybe block the bridge with a large vehicle for those instant spawning idiots. Hmmm.

The Duke O'Death is free and it has a decent stock armor at the front and sides and it's bulletproof at the back, also free bulletproof tires.

You can upgrade the armor in LS Customs for a little extra protection.

The trinket by fort z, how many guards we dealing with? Don’t have an armored karuma, do we have a zentorno or entity xf? Anything where the car is shielded on the back end? Before getting close, I’d go ceo, pop a bst, back in the car, reverse up to the gate with the snack menu up while popping guards, close snacks hop out grab the trinket snacks back up hop in car and drive off.
