Year of the Snake: Lunar New Year Looms with New Stunt Races, Liveries and Rewards

Lunar New Year is almost here, and as per usual, celebrations start getting prepared across San Andreas! A light show from fireworks, traditional lanterns, themed decorations, clothing - and this year, even more - brand-new Stunt Races join the fray! Filled with decorative elements that will make you feel like you're celebrating Lunar New Year even if you don't celebrate it, three new races will be available starting this week, with rewards for playing at least one.

Alongside those, some odd reports of Yuanbao currency artifacts start appearing on LifeInvader and Bleeter... but don't fret, you can collect all 36 of them for rewards! Can't find them? Why not also dust off your Terrorbyte and check if it has the new collectible finder enabled?

With all of this, Maibatsu makes available a brand-new limited-time livery for their Penumbra FF, and you can log-in any time until 12th February (oh look, it's the my birthday that day!) to receive additional rewards.

As such, until 12th February, ring in the snake - and I don't mean the government:

Very nice, this is akin to what they've done in Japan and Italy (that I know of) with region-specific events related to their country. Those red envelopes would probably sell for bajillions because R* collectors would be running for them  Not sure how that scene looks in China tho.

I don't know about that but i managed to join and do the race with 13 other players, just to be safe knowing R* unlocking system is somewhat unreliable (especially since the livery uses the notorious "72 hours system").

Your pre-existing Nightclub safe income and safe capacity are not doubled, just the amount of any new income you get during this event week is doubled.

The safe capacity is still $250K, but the payout for nightclub popularity is doubled. So, the nightclub safe is filling two times faster.
