Now i found "GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition\Activation\SteamActivation.exe", but isn't it risky to connect these files with my main Steam account?

I would wait for The Complete Edition to come out. It's already announced and will compile all the fixes, improvements, restorations and (probably) EFLC additions to be the best version of the mod. Join the official Discord server for updates.

Use this - GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition - Download - you'll find all files here along with most unofficial fixes. Check the 'Fixes & Guides' section.

 

Don't worry about viruses, the files are legit this website is hosted by fellow fans.

Has anyone encountered a problem where the mission blip doesn't update? I have 2 missions (latest unofficial patch 1.2)

 

Haitian: Juju Scramble, after you pick up the first briefcase, the marker changes to Vercetti Estate for some reason, and there's no marker there. The timer therefore doesn't reset and keeps counting down so you can't pick up the next briefcase to proceed.

 

Payphone: Loose End, after you pickup the briefcase you're supposed to go to the helipad and drop it off. Same as above, you can't interact with the guy in the chopper to finish the mission.

Hey guys and I hope you're all doing well, I've been on GTAForums for a while now mostly as a lurker but I could really use some advice right about now. GTA Vice City happens to be one of my favourite GTA games of all time and I was super excited to try this GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition version which actually does run great on my system after installing the Official/Unofficial v1.2 patch. 

 

However I decided that since this is running under GTA4's engine I could just go ahead use OpenIV and Install a lot of mods for customs vehicles and replace them with period correct cars from the games 1980s era. But now the game suffers from difficulty loading certain parts of the map, building and texture pop-in as you turn the camera around fast enough.

 

This is the same old memory limitation problem that the GTA4 was suffering from I believe. I've tried quite a lot of things to try and get the game running properly because I really would like to keep these vehicles that I've added as I've spent so much time individually finding and testing them out individually and adding their colour and handling data one at a time. 

 

So what I'm asking here is if anybody has any kind of suggestion to fix this issue with regards to installing high-quality vehicle mods in GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition and not suffering from random building pop in's in and textures not loading fast enough as you turned the camera around. I would greatly appreciate it some has any advice with regards to this.

Having a similar issue; at the same point in Supply and Demand, the boat keeps getting blown up. Anyone else having this issue?
