Update: Ok after a few days and hours, I finally got it all D'loaded. Ok your version is working great! It's just like my old version before I hosed it with mods lol. Now it's running at almost 200fps. My old version was at around 30-60fps.

 

I put some of the mods back. But had to remove the GTAV trees, the hotel interior update, and Rosenburg's office update. Due to them breaking the outside LOD of buildings. I also didn't like the car you have replacing the Ferrari, it's cool and all, but I need a Ferrari in the game. Had it replaced another car no one cars about, I would be cool with it. So I'm using the standard cars update from Jan.

 

I still can't get FP mode to work in your version. Every time I add "ScripHookDotNet.asi" and "ScriptHook.dll" the game refuses to load. Not sure why, but yeah..

 

Dude, sorry for asking but I'm a bit lost.. I've downloaded the same file and tried to launch the GTAIV.exe but then got an error. Do I need to download something else to make it work? Many thanks in advance for your help, I'm really not used to do that kind of things

is there any mod to increase the running speed? tommy vercetti is probably the fastest running character in the whole gta saga, he should be at least 2 times faster than in gta 4.

Hey, I'm new to the forums so I'm posting here. Excuse my incompetence. First of all, I'm really enjoying the nextgen version of VC. So many great nostalgic feelings. Second, I want to go crazy with the tank but the tank doesn't shoot at all and the barrel rotation doesn't work either. I've also looked at the control button settings in the vehicle but there's only the shooting option which is assigned to LMB. I've also tried all the buttons on the keyboard. Is there any way to fix this problem? Thanks for your help

Ahojte, som na fóre nový, tak píšem sem. Ospravedlňte moju neschopnosť. V prvom rade ma veľmi baví nextgen verzia VC. Toľko skvelých nostalgických pocitov. Po druhé, chcem sa vyblázniť s tankom ale tank vôbec nestrieľa a rotácia hlavne nefunguje. Pozrel som sa aj na nastavenia ovládacieho tlačidla vo vozidle, ale je tam len možnosť snímania, ktorá je priradená LMB. Vyskúšal som aj všetky tlačidlá na klávesnici. Existuje nejaký spôsob, ako tento problém vyriešiť? dakujem za pomoc

Yes there is a modder by the username enhancer working on the original animations for vcne. It is very fast and useful however its bugged and has a rubber arm problem sometimes and the footsteps do not work. It looks like ps2 vice city

Hi!
I'm doing a French translation of the game!
But I have a problem: when I put letters with accents, it displays as weird letters like Cyrillic.
The "à" displays as "т" (it's not a T, it's a Cyrillic letter), I tried to put "т" instead to see and it replaces it with ">" in the game, and I suppose it will put something else if I put ">" instead.
Is there a solution to this? There must be a random special character that would be displayed as an "à", an "é" or an "è" in the game?

Honestly I don't think that's the problem, the font and text system are the same as GTA IV, which displays accents without any problem, so it's weird that it doesn't work.
According to my research it would be an encoding problem, but after converting the GXT file to another encoding, nothing works anymore.
So I think the only solution is to find the special characters that can display each of the letters I want in game.

I dont know if just replacing the files you use in gta iv would work

Don't forget to fix the bottom of his shirt, should be straight. Regular dress shirts are shaped like this. Hawaiian ones (or bowling shirts) are (usually) straight at the bottom.

My launcher kinda looks weird it was ok in 1.1 but when i download 1.2 it get bad, and my saves are gone, and weird look get ok when i changed my screen into 100%
