I'm actually getting more crashes now than I was before. And the launcher is not displaying properly for some reason:

 

 

I only copied over the files that were updated though. I noticed a lot of the files were actually slightly older than what I already had. I think they accidentally took those files from an older build, most were last edited about 12 hours earlier than the ones from original release.

Another thing that should be mentioned about this update, is that save games no longer work after updating.

Why russian language is imported into french.gxt? There is also russian.gxt, but he is not used. I need cyrillic and I am afraid if I use russian.gxt will be a problem. OpenIV cannot decode french.gxt. Is there a way to properly export cyrillic from french.gxt?

Savegame incompatibility wasn't worth 2 missions made a bit easier imo

Game is running smoothely on 2700x + 1060gb, no crashes, no bugs... It is so beautiful it is unbelivable, i feel like i am playing it for the first time

I found few map glitches that would need fixing, i'll post pictures later if anyone knows and is willing to fix it

dude what the hell is wrong with this garbage mod, i finish the mission to aquire vercetti estate and tommy is just stuck in a corner running non stop i cant even save the damn game!

It looks like the crashes I was getting were only happening when it rains, so I made it permanently sunny with ZolikaTrainer. I kept getting them because every time I loaded this one save file, it was set to rain in a couple minutes.

 

Since then it hasn't been crashing more than it used to.

I ended up accidentally uninstalling it while trying to update it which i admit was a mess up on my part so i've opened up the google drive i had bookmarked to reinstall it and apparently it got deleted?




So i thought "Oh well maybe they deleted it because they're re-releasing a new update" so i try searching around a few websites and couldn't find the installs either apart from a few videos from a sketchy thailand guy which the comments says was bullcrap.

I then searched on youtube for it and ended up seeing this as well, did rockstar seriously decide to take down this mod.. Are yous going to try and re-upload it somewhere else or is this the end of this amazing mod?

Rockstar tried, but it is still online, and now we don't need purchased GTA IV to run it Just search some more

moddb link removed but it doesnt mater because it was torrent file. so you can search mod page in archive.org and you can get the torrent zip.

I can install the patch to the vanilla original game, which works fine, even though I go back to ENB.

 

Buuuut as soon as I add any modded files the game it is beyond broken! Or doesn't load at all. Even got the game running in a tiny window on my desktop that cannot be resized. So I deleted everything and put my backup (unpatched) version back on my HD.

Weapon patch

Classic VC weapon sound

Zolika Trainer

 

 

Bugs im running into:

Savegame corrupted, infinite black 'loading' screen.

Random crashes in missions.

 

Any fix for those? Is there any way to fix Tommy clothes in cutscenes too? Is outthere any modpack ?

Theres backups on archive.org just look for the actual 7gb or more to download, theres small ones with just the torrent link inside you could try too if the site is too slow

Dont wanna be pretty but i think he have a bit to agresive face, the shirt seams to be a bit to slim and the buttons to big. That my opinion but still its a very good job and as is would be an amazing improvement

Also most vintage havaian shirts are square like without rounded end, that type of shirt is made to be tucked in

The only gripe as been stated is that Hawaiian shirts are square on the bottom. And are you making a Miami vice style suit, along with mission clothes?? And will his face animate to his voice?

 

Otherwise this is probably the best Tommy model so far! Awesome job!

Awesome, but I'm stuck at "quota exceeded". Can someone post on a website with less BS? 

 

Update: Ok after a few days and hours, I finally got it all D'loaded. Ok your version is working great! It's just like my old version before I hosed it with mods lol. Now it's running at almost 200fps. My old version was at around 30-60fps.

 

I put some of the mods back. But had to remove the GTAV trees, the hotel interior update, and Rosenburg's office update. Due to them breaking the outside LOD of buildings. I also didn't like the car you have replacing the Ferrari, it's cool and all, but I need a Ferrari in the game. Had it replaced another car no one cars about, I would be cool with it. So I'm using the standard cars update from Jan.

 

I still can't get FP mode to work in your version. Every time I add "ScripHookDotNet.asi" and "ScriptHook.dll" the game refuses to load. Not sure why, but yeah..

I think any other files that are renamed scripthooks may cause the bricked .exe so just remove the other .net file(s) and those kind of mods should work off one loader

Then using the scripts folder can clean up the directory of those mods same with plugins folder for .asi but the loaders stay with the .exe

 

This scripthook loader was suggested because it doesnt have the raining inside buildings bug

Thanks. It works well until the point after the early chef mission (around 10 minutes in). When you return to the hotel and finish the mission, the phone starts to ring and when you answer it crashes. I tried it now twice (downloaded the game again and started over) but still crashes at that point. Even tried changing some ingame settings. Anyone else has this with this particular package and the same crash?

 

The game looks and sounds amazing btw, it feels like the first time playing Vice City (can't play it nowadays, the GTA 3 engine is SO outdated, the physics and such).

I don't know about crash on that mission, it doesn't crash to me. Only think i know that might cause it is V-sync, it's off for me.

Also i stopped modding my game because im following mods on discord server, and i want fer more mods and fixes to come out and then i will install them all an enjoy game

I couldn't get it to work but thanks anyway.

 

Meanwhile it seems it's working fine with the original(?) files, or at least some torrent version of it. Just needed to disable ENB to get it running (took some digging to figure that out :P). But this timecyc helped to boost the graphics without ENB: 

 

Anyway, need to install FusionFix, the regen and maybe other mods. After being in Skyrim modding hell for the last months I really try to avoid end up doing the same with this one
