Full list of changes:
- Fixed camera height in all vehicles.
- Fixed issue with Predator boat not spawning, now marine police works fully in the game.
- Fixed inability to enter Trashmaster.
- Added new variation of Comet car - with Vice City headlights.
- Almost all convertibles now have animation for jumping into them (there were problems with Savanna, since it is the only four-door convertible, so if you notice anything - let me know).
- Hunter machine guns have been replaced with full-fledged rocket salvos, now it can shoot 8 rockets, similar to GTA Online. Brown Thunder mission is now much more fun to play on it.
 - Savanna and Blade now have roof extras, can now spawn in traffic with them.
- All vehicle duplicates use the same controls, and some cars have had their controls reworked (for example, Hotring Racer now uses controls from the fastest cars in the game - such as Banshee and Coquette).
- RC Raider controls have been corrected from the VK comments, now the infamous "helicopter mission" is much better.

will this patch eventually make the rhino work properly? waiting for that to install any community patches

Tried lowering the settings, still getting crashes when using the sniper on targets. Shot one of the drivers in the tank convoy and instant crash.

Crashes when aiming the sniper at nothing have stopped though.

Haven't had any random crashes even on settings nearly twice as high.

Random Crashes start happening after settings over 70 for distance and detail.

Anything over 30 for traffic settings seems to mess up bike sounds too.

Emulation on PPSSPP is very good now. And you can always grab a PSP from the bargain bin and homebrew it to load ROMs.

You'll have to install the files from an installer that's the same size though. You can delete it after but you'll need to have twice the space before install. If you have a spare storage device then I recommend you keep the install file on that.

This is the first public release of the mod, there are going to be issues. No one forced you to try it. Why do you have it in your head that it should run flawlessly? Is it because it's labeled as version 1.1, or are you just mad at yourself for having too high of expectations?

 

Mods aren't held to the same standards as official productions, no one is getting paid to make this, and most of the time there is some form of collaborative effort from the community involved.

Theres no point arguing with these people man, if they wanna enjoy their slop mod theyre gonna enjoy it. They think that a mod cant be criticized just cuz its free even tho theres tons of issues 🫤.

Scroll through the entire thread and you'll see tons of criticism. The difference is most of that criticism is constructive - posting problems, bug, glitches as well as working together to solve them. Whining and crying is on the opposite end. It doesn't help anything.

most wont do anything, for motion blur you'll have to grab the xml or whatever it was from the repo rather than releases and i changed it back

True, but i can sympathize with the guy in that this mod should've spent more time in the oven in the first place. I am happy that the devs are releasing patches tho and i hope they continue to do so. The crashes being this frequent and happening at random is inexcusable imo, zooming in my sniper rifle shouldnt crash the game cuz its kinda what the sniper is meant to do. I hope you at least understand where im coming from.

Put traffic density to max 20, and view distance to about 60-70 at most. it will fix crashing every 15 mins

There's a difference in giving honest feedback, and posting some replies like a spoiled 10 year old kid. "This is so $hit OMGGG WOWW", it almost looks as it has affected you emotionally lmfao. And it's even worse when there's a lot of people reporting that they have been able to complete a full playthrough. And on top of that, again, it's 2 years of work FOR FREE. How despicable you must be for insulting 2 years of work some dudes have worked in for free.

bro RevTeam isn't a company or corporation, its just a bunch of russian dudes who made this, it is a feat they even made this much and its good by most people's opinion and they are gonna fix the bugs in upcoming patches, besides what you're experiencing is not really a bug so stop whining you gotta tweak some settings to make it work for your machine, i didn't get a single crash on my pc ever since i installed the mod, constructive criticism is welcomed but you're being a brat writing like this

Maybe try playing for longer than 1 hour then (that's like first 3 missions, not even a tenth of the game)? The mod is extremely crash-prone, and it's very apparent. You can dunk on people for expressing their thoughts like a 12-year old child all you want but there is no need to blatantly lie like that.

Thanks, for now I need to disable DXVK when having a new game.

 

In the meantime, I did some more testing using other solutions like DxWrapper w/ the settings from this blog: https://ant-sh.blogspot.com/2020/07/gta-4-stutter-choppiness-fix.html and one of the things i've noticed is the pay n' spray doors won't close properly at 60fps unless I pause or alt-tab. Doesn't seem to happen with dxvk. But it could also be dxwrapper not working correctly.

 

DgVoodoo doesn't render properly.

 

WineD3D has 20 something fps with weird gfx glitches.

 

DXVK seems to offer the most consistent experience, cpu/gpu utilization is better with it.

I didn't :/ Tried about 6 times, gave up, moved on to finishing the rest of the storyline, so the only missions missing were that one and the 2 after it.

Nah, I ain't gotta tweak some stuff to make it work. 

Its on GTA 4 engine, right? never had any crash in IV recently. but when they did all the stuff for VC for it its just a timebomb that's waiting for it to crash.

on my first attempt i didn't crash. when i got into warehouse the Haitians started spawning one after another very fast near the gate. bugged code because i could see them spawning out of thin air rapidly and impossible to kill all of them because they just kept spawning. i died to them.

 

now when i retry mission i get crashes when i kill Haitians. maybe i can try spawning allies with zmenu and having them kill Haitans for me so i dont crash

I agree that much more should have been ironed out before calling it a v1.1 release. Had they called it version 0.8 and said "it's nearly there, please help us bring it home" then I don't think we'd be having this conversation at all.
