🤔

I5 9400 is 13-15% faster than i7 6700 (recommended) which is where you are in advantage. GTX 1650 although is inferior to RX 570/GTX 970 by about 10-11% in performance terms. In a real life scenario, your performance should be quite close to the recommended system specs. You're good to go.

I wanted to buy this PC. And as far as I could gather some info about it, I'm sure that this PC can handle GTA V at 90+ FPS. What about GTA Trilogy DE?

Taking a look at that laptop, I have compared the specs with the closest ones for recommended settings on DE. i5 10300H processor is on par with a i7 6700K (minus the overclocking). Both have the same number of cores and threads (4C, 8T). 1650Ti is a Mobile version GPU (for laptops and portables) while the GTX 970 which is about 20% more powerful than 1650Ti. And then there's only 8GB of ram on the laptop whereas the specs require 16GB. So, on that front, you are quite good in most aspects. If the recommded ones are a benchmark for optimal running of the DE, your specs should be able to get you somewhere in the middleground of the minimum and recommended specs. And yes, that is more than enough if you are not hell bent on hardcore gaming specs, framerates and all.

Hey guys, what about my setup? Can it run "The Trilogy"?
CPU: i7 3770
GPU: GTX 760 2GB
RAM: 16 GB
and of cource Windows 10 21H1

Your setup would be able to run the game at the minimum settings. It's good that you have 16GB of ram, but without a more powerful processor and GPU, it will not make a huge difference on gameplay compared to recommended settings.

I feel bad about the requirements, since i haven't been using my laptop for gaming for years, only for office works and whatnot. Is it possible to run the game (normal graphs maybe) with these?

CPU – i7-4510U

GPU – 840M

RAM – 8GB

Maybe i have to contemplate on changing this sh*t..

You definitely need a laptop that has a good GPU. If you're considering on buying a new laptop, get one that has atleast a GTX 1650. While your processor and ram requirements will just be enough for minimum specs, 840M is a laptop GPU and is atleast 130-140% weaker than the minimum required gpu, GTX 660. I wouldn't count on that laptop to run the games.

About minimum for Multi-Thread performance, should be fine.
Single-Thread performance is a bit lower than ideal. (About 12% slower), that may be a problem if they use too much old code for logic and no proper threading in the game. Hard to tell.

GPU is fine.

Nope.

Awful CPU performance overall, way below minimum 😬. The changes in code could pose a problem when it comes to running the game.
The GPU is, awful as well, there is not even enough VRAM to run the game.
RAM will very likely make things just as bad (even worse with 2GB of VRAM) and just "8GB" doesn't tell much.
I mean, it's probably slow LPDDR4 anyway so... (Worst case it's Single Channel which I wouldn't doubt it is)

Hmm, how many sticks of RAM? What speed?

I'm reacting Yee to everyone whose specs are good enough to play the game at decent settings.

Since when is a 2700k a I5?

Ever since i5 6600K is an i7. 😛

On a serious note, it seems like an insight. They got both the Intel models wrong while the AMD ones aren't. Could be ignorance as well.

i5 6500 is as good as i5 6600 which is recommended. No real world difference. However, what about your Ram? If you're not running dual channel and have a decent CL16 stick, add another 8GB and you should be golden, considering that your GPU is capable enough. If you're running dual channel on the 8GB, which ram are you using? That makes a world of difference.

Hey all, I've got an i5-9400f, gtx 1660 and 16gb and an nvme ssd. It runs rdr2 at 60fps on high to mid settings.

These are good enough to run the DE at it's best. RDR2 is more resource hungry compared to the Definitive Edition.

Overclocked Ryzen 5 3600 and RX 570.

I'm good.

In the GTA V requirements, they did list the FX as AMD X8 FX-8350😂

It's crazy. Remakes of 20-year-old games are more demanding than GTA V, which was optimized like a dream. I only wish it had DX12 or Vulkan but Rockstar is likely saving that for VI.
