You have a good point though, that once they announce an official date they rarely delay beyond it. They'll move windows (ie Spring to Fall), but they have a history of keeping a specific date. I personally don't expect an official date until May, due to reasons listed above. 

yep once they give a solid date they usually never delay it

 

only time i think they did it was GTA 4 had an original release date of October  16, 2007 but got pushed to April 29, 2008 (someone correct me if im wrong here)

I think you're right. RDR1 as well, from memory only by about a month though. Both of those examples are from a time when Rockstar were a bit looser, so to speak.

by the way..i still can't get shake the feeling Jason's socks look a bit goofy (with the red and blacks stripes)

 

are these a real life brand of socks by any chance?

That was the only time unless you count Max Payne 3 which went from March 2012 to May. That game had many many delays even before that. Btw R* announced the new GTA 4 date on.....you guys guessed it January 24th, 2008 that it would release in April lol. Right near a T2 financial call.

 

Edit: Maybe RDR1 too as well. I think that had a firm month that pushed a tiny bit.

I think Jason as a whole looks a bit less complete. It's not weird to see two years out from release. Both of them will look different again once the game actually comes out.

I really liked his appearance in the leaks but if the final version is a mixture of that and trailer 1 I'd be fine with it.

Oh, looks like Northern Florida is likely to see snow. I definitely forsee Leonida getting snow during the Christmas period, much like Los Santos does now in GTAO.

I still remember Arthur's oddly large jaw in RDR2 trailer 2 and how old Michael was in V Trailer 2 lol. Then they changed to their final character models less than 6 months later in the newer trailers. 

 

Hmm, notice the trend. Maybe that's why R* delayed Trailer 2.

The leaks show her with different make-up, which is probably in as a substitute for not being able to grow a beard lol. I don't know if that will extend to nails.

I hope the customization extends. We must remember that there is also a female audience who will play and including a lot of customization options for Lucia will attract female players.

I wonder if Lucia will have a group of friends to do crimes with in missions without Jason and what would they be? I personally forget sometimes that the two obviously won’t be joined at the hip throughout the whole story and may have their own personal crew of friends

The design of his socks is reminiscent of what were known as tube socks. They were popular during the 1970s and they were pretty popular with athletes and casual wearers.

Also let's not forget that Jason's fashion sense is pretty in line with what's common for men these last few years. I mean, did you seriously forget that this look has seen a resurgence in popularity not seen since the 90s?

If people are bothered by inoffensive things, no wonder they are mad at games having a female protagonist and the game's story would suck just because of that. (Witcher IV is the best example.)
