A PS5 remaster of RDR2, or a hypothetical version of RDR2 that was developed targeting PS5 as a baseline from the very beginning? If it's the latter, it's sort of understandable, but certainly not the former.

 

Regardless, even 70-80% of what we saw in Trailer 1 would run circles around RDR2, both visually and technically.

I would absolutely not mind if GTA VI looked just like RDR2. The game was so beautiful on PC, that I think even with those graphics GTA VI would be exceptional

The 2021 build was already on par with RDR 2 , I can’t wait until the gameplay trailers come later on close to launch

Question for those who followed other R* releases (RDR2, GTA IV and V): When during the release schedule did the map got officialy revealed? Just when the game released or it's before, as a marketing thing or smth?

I believe Vs map was pieced together on the forum accurately from the blueprint images in the original collectors edition. This was early September 2013 I think?

If it isn't leaked before, then never, they only show snippets of the maps here and there, not the entire thing.

Exactly, this is the most that Rockstar showed of GTA5's map and it's upside down to make things slightly more confusing.

or just do a trailer 3....i think they will have at least 3 main trailers, 1-2 gameplay videos, 1 online video and the launch trailer

Wasn't trailer 1 supposed to be Lucia's trailer? It felt like that for me at least.

More like a "world" trailer to me, next trailer will probably be much more story heavy.

GTA V trailer 1 emphasized Michael and yet he got a separate trailer. We will still be able to see this tradition, with at least 5 trailers, although Rockstar showed a lot in trailer 1, which could indicate fewer trailers this time.

I genuinely do not care if the game is 30 or 60FPS. In fact, I get some kind of motion sickness from 60FPS.

 

Yeah, that's been happening for 12 years at this point since the PS4 and XBox One announcements, feels like they were fresh in my head, lol 

 

Also, at this point I don't care about FPS, especially when I am getting older tbh, I only care about now is a good story, game play and a good library of games for the generation of the consoles tbh, that's what I care about now

The trailer showed GTA VI looking incredibly optimized which didn't really do much in terms of story. I know we have an ideal what we think GTA VI is but knowing Rockstar there is something else going on. I won't be too ambitious but they'll probably have us being NPCs in someone else's story mode.

Definitely not getting any news this week since Trump will take over tomorrow. 31st January trailer 2 announcement and February 4th release would make so much sense because of T2 call on Feb 6th.

I don't think trailer 2 will be released before 3 March (monday - 6 weeks from now) or later than 30 May (friday - 18 weeks from now)

 

Also the release date will be in aprox. 35 - 44 weeks (8 - 10 months)

I am more sure we get nothing until the dates I mentioned (not before March) than people who are 100% sure the game is delayed to 2026.

If R* were to make a big announcement (likely release date related) by early March, I think they would probably just do it before the February earnings call tbh.
