VI is a switch 2 title.

Honestly, Take-2 reiterating the release window again would be a net-positive for us. Rockstar are only going to announce one of two things prior to an earnings call: the release date or a delay. If they don't announce anything before the Feb call, it gives us another 3 months of space for anything to happen before we need to worry about a potential delay announcement.

I was gonna say this. If we hear again about a fall window I really think we’re in the money this time. If not, it’s not the end of the world but it’s 50/50 it could be up in the air on a delay until may. It’s also possible we do openly do hear about a delay which sucks but hopefully it doesn’t get delayed AGAIN.

I don't think this will do any damage to VI at all. All Rockstar need to do is release a screenshot and nobody will even remember this happened.

I honestly doubt we'll get any screenshot but trailer would be nice.. I do believe they just going follow spider-man route.. although I don't know spiderman release a screenshot though.

Must say I am still curious about this image. Rockstar really doesn't do cutscenes where the leads are not their...so it got me thinking

 

1. Jason and/or Lucia are being introduced by the bandanna guy, and their off screen

2. this is the new Lamar for GTAO 2.0

I don’t think it could get any worse. I should touch some grass. But what do we think about a delay? I doubt Rockstar would push GTA 6 by just a few months—probably a whole year. I can’t even decide what’s more realistic, given how massive the game is but also how many people are working on it.

Honestly, I can’t imagine how much 6 months would even matter for a game like GTA 6. It’s no wonder Rockstar might not even know themselves if they’ll hit 2025, even if (let’s assume) they’re still on track for this year’s milestones / deadlines.

I feel a delay is inevitable. We need that initial release date announcement soon, for example May announcement delaying the release to October, otherwise, we're looking at a 2026 release. Realistically, I expect an October 2025 announcement followed by a delay to Spring 2026.

No way are you happy with a delay as long as we get a screenshot

 

I'd rather hear nothing for the next 6 months if it meant it was still coming at the end of the year.

I spent some of my morning time F5ing the threads on ResetERA and reddit and man, the hype for the Switch 2 was almost exactly like the stuff we see in this thread  Hundreds (in the case of the Switch 2 thousands) of people online, posting memes, expecting things at specific dates/times, doomposting, GIFs, etc  

 

It's finally here. We'll only know about games in April tho.
