Rockstar has to announce it earlier because there is no chance it will be a shadow drop
I assume they would have informed us about it 2-4 days earlier
That's why I think it would be this week, rather not in two weeks because that's when the mafia is, so my guess is this week or the May 9-15 range

 

but there is also a chance that we will simply get a newswire with the release date, some screenshots and it could happen on the day of the T2 conference
I am so excited that I am already counting each day and I hope that it will happen as soon as possible

Before the 15th doesn't equal this week. Everyone has been saying "this week" or "tomorrow" for the last year and a half and then get disappointed when nothing arrives.

And I remind yall that the RDR2 trailer was announced on April 30, and released on May 2
It fits perfectly just before the mafia

Just pure speculation, but i really feel it could be this week

I'm not disagreeing at all. It's why I said I'd be shocked cause I'm not sure how a "still on track for 2025" statement would sound to investors. I'm just not setting a week or day specific expectation. They're really good with dropping news when you least expect it. With GTA V and RDR 2, I'd literally be doing something and then the forum would be going nuts over the news whether good or bad . I kind of like that they're unpredictable as it adds more excitement. This time it's been a bit more difficult cause I don't think any of us anticipated a year and a half with no news.

It is a 2-week difference but my point is, if they don't drop news this week, people complain and then give the same prediction for the next week. There's still a chance they don't drop news before the 15th although I believe that's unlikely.

• Nothing until May 15th.

• During the investors call, reinforcement the game is still set to release on Fall 2025. Hopefully with the exact day and month.

• Another maior radio silence.

• Marketing kicks in August.

• Game releases on November / December.

Fair enough. I just thought it sounded funny because of how small the difference is.

 

Yeah i'd be surprised too.

I struggle to believe Rockstar at the very least doesn't know whether they will release it this year or not by now. Considering how long they've been targeting this deadline for, and the game being (as of now) 6 months away and all.

Wouldn't make sense to me to sit on that info for longer, specially when all the other big Take Two projects will have a scheduled release date by the time the call happens.
