If Rockstar's beloved cash cow can be rereleased many times in March-April, so can its successor.

I definitely don’t agree with Tom on that BUT I think (could be completely wrong) if they do end up delaying it I think they’ll do what they did in trailer 1 and update the date to just 2026 and update with a firm date later on rather than commit to Spring 2026 publicly just in case the absolute worst case scenario happens and they need until the fall of next year. They won’t have to come out with two public delays like they did with RDR2. It gave the same safety net as they did when they announced the game for 2025 when it was apparently scheduled for spring and when they (apparently) internally delayed it they didn’t have to make a formal announcement. Just my two cents.

Lmao, the absolute delusion of some of you to believe Rockstar would ever release their biggest title of their most famous IP any earlier than October is just comical. They want to maximize sales. The proximity to Christmas is the perfect time to do that.

You most likely are, the release window already got narrowed down to "Fall 2025", they won't make it as vague as "2026" again, either they'll come up with Spring 2026 or the exact release date (delay or not) now.

Cannot wait for marketing to kick off : mapping improvements, first hints at new mechanisms or content, first gameplay videos... is when the fun really starts as it unfolds bits by bits before we get the real thing. Trailer 1 was, probably on purpose, mainly showcasing what we already saw in the leaks.

 

Even with a delay, once the marketing starts, it will not feel as overwhelming as it has felt until now.

T2's next earnings call is on May 15th, so if we're getting any news (screenshots, release date, trailer), the weeks leading up to that is our best bet. Previous announcements happened as close as on the day of the call itself, so I'd say the week of the 15th is most likely. 

And if we still don't get anything, we'll hear in the earnings call if T2 is still confident in a Fall 2025 release. So no matter what, on the 15th we'll know if we're still getting GTA VI in our hands this year.

man.. since i've been playing oblivion remastered, i been excited again somewhat about the elder scrolls 6. However, knowing Bethesda is on that makes me less excited since they've been sh*tting the beds lately with their RPGs... I truly f*cking hope they knock it out of the park for once with TES VI.

 

but now i am not as interested in games like GTA for the time being, and that sh*t comes out sooner than TES VI, which will likely release 2030 or so... jesus christ man  >_>
