Sorry, but Assassin's Creed Shadows is probably the MOST beautiful game in the gaming industry at the moment, it looks like a full-fledged long-awaited nextgen!

 

Well, at least THIS kind of detailed and super realistic vegetation. The leaves, the grass, weather conditions and the whole nature are just a masterpiece. 

 

And I'm afraid to imagine what will happen in GTA 6, IF EVEN Ubisoft were able to recreate such a gorgeous visual experience. I'm really looking forward to it!

honestly I agree, wish character models were as good, but I'm having a blast with this one (cant let the internet know tho)

Seems like that's something on your end bro. Y'know the algorithm will feed you what you consume, right? If you keep engaging and clicking and interacting with those type of things, that's all it's gonna appear on your feed, so there's no point in complaining.

I use it on a daily basis and rarely see things like that, for me it's most memes, movies and games, because that's what I interact with. And when something bad like that does appear, there's literally an option of "Not interested in this post" to filter what you want/do not want to see.

 

And tbh, it works pretty well, a few weeks ago I made a new account and within a few minutes I had filtered everything I wanted and don't wanted to see, no kids crying, no one wishing me death (Honestly I have no idea how tf you even achieved that), no fights, etc..

PC. This is also the magic of RTGI technology. It should also be noted that this is finally an Assassin"s that has been released on a new generation of consoles.

 

This is also an important factor. But in any case, I am shocked by the visual component of nature and vegetation in this world. Even Horizon 2 and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 were not so detailed and realistic in terms of vegetation and nature in general... What awaits us then in GTA 6?

Yep, the only thing I've experienced that I think edges it is Cyberpunk with pathtracing with fixed HDR. That's just mind blowing, but it is pathtracing so it's an unfair comparision to AC Shadows which is RT only. But excluding path tracing I think Shadows is the best looking game around, especially in the non-urban environments.

 

I said it last night but stills and compressed video don't do it justice, seeing it in motion is a whole other thing, especially with all the foliage sway and things being thrown about in the wind. It's why I expect GTA VI will blow people away because no matter what they do in terms of promo material, I think we'll need to play it and see it in our hands to really see how good it looks.

This might be a bit far fetched but if there was something coming today, there would have been some chatter in the industry. We'll probably know when something is coming weeks in advance by some real insider or journalist.

ubisoft seem to have done a great job, although they‘re still totally hit & miss,  IMO they sh*t the bed with Siege X.
