That subreddit is a dump lol. It's almost unusable. They probably would have tricked themselves into believing something was happening tomorrow without Zesty.

Imagine being a moderator there :cringekek:

And nothing’s happening tomorrow.

So what's the consensus? Everyone agrees that it is NOT dropping tomorrow?

Not a chance we're getting something tomorrow, think we'd know something is in the pipeline by now rather than another wild, insane conspiracy theory.

That’s right. :harrumph:

Everyone give me a Realistic Steak if you want me, Sam Houser, to release the trailer exclusively embedded here on GTA Forums, therefore breaking their bandwidth record of 35,000 visitors.

You guys think PS5 hardware will be able to take this game without exploding? I bought it with the sole purpose of playing GTA VI (i'm obviously playing more stuff in the meantime) but i'm kinda worried now. I don't mind about 30 FPS but i want it to look good and for it to run well without melting everything inside

They made GTA V run on machines that were overall slow as sh*t when they launched, and by 2013 they were basically about as powerful as a the computer behind a fridge screen.

They also made RDR2 run on consoles whose CPU's were famously dogsh*t when the consoles were brand new.

The current consoles aren't perfect but they are relatively speaking much, much better. They'll be fine lol.

That's nice to read. I'm honestly expecting RDR2 level of graphics, anything beyond it will blow me away anyway. I just don't want my console to turn into a frying plane while playing it

Why though? Trailer 1 is right there to see. Even 70-80% of what we saw in that would run circles around RDR2 on a technical level.

In the sense that sometimes trailers don't reflect the final product. I'm expecting something on par with RDR2 or slightly better.

In Rockstar's case they do, VI will look at least as good as in Trailer 1, if not better, considering that the game will be released roughly 2 years after that.

It'll be miles better.

At this point we can definitely say it's using RTGI which is completely transformative on it's own, and something in my experience that things like promo trailers or still screens don't do justice.

Granted I'm running it on a high end PC but visually speaking Assassin's Creed Shadows is probably only second to pathtraced Cyberpunk 2077 for me and that's for two reasons 1) how bloody good their RTGI implementation is and 2) how good their foliage is. R*'s tech is equally if not more brilliant and their art direction is among the absolute best in the industry, which is why games like RDR2 still look incredible today, or why even 10 year old games like IV and RDR1 with their resolution cranked up still look pretty damn good considering their age.

Again these pics don't even do it proper justice, RT effects and how they look in motion are what really make a big difference, everything just looks right in a way they don't look quite right in traditionally rendered games.

Jesus the vegetation is mindblowing, specialy in the second screencap. I honestly can't even imagine it how it's going to look like, i'm dying to see some gameplay shows in this style

These pics of Assassin's Creed Shadows makes me think about how Ghost of Yotei will look like later this year.

Nah. The game looks ass and the graphics have dated terribly. V stands up today... in the environments.

I was reaching a little with IV, I think it still looks pretty decent especially LC but it's definitely more rough around the edges.

It's the best vegetation/foliage in a game I've ever seen, I'd be confident in saying best ever period, and it's in large part because of the RTGI. You can find comparison images of RTGI on and off online and the difference in stark, it's the RTGI that's making it all come together, and GTA VI is using RTGI and we can say that with a lot of confidence not just because of the trailer but because we've literally got a taste test of their version of it in GTA V Enhanced on PC. It's gonna look incredibly good when you actually play it - again, trailers and still rarely do RT effects justice, no one was raving about how AC Shadows looked until they played it for example.

It'll look great no doubt but I'm far more excited to see Horizon 3. Horizon Forbidden West without any RT at all looks incredible, I'm really looking forward to seeing what they're able to do with RT, especially as they are another studio that does amazing foliage. Death Stranding 2 will be a taste test for that possibly, as that's running on their Decima engine

id love to see a parody of that guy. Some loser in a burger shot hat making racially explicit remarks only to be stomped unrecognizably to death by everyone on board. The good ending, ya know…

The zesty dude has a countdown on this instagram claiming its being released 12pm EST and 4pm GMT

I really doubt that fool knows something and surely he lurking in here probably giggling looking for a 15 mins fame attention whore.

Friendly reminder that R* have pre-announced every new trailer for a new game since forever.

If a new trailer was straight up releasing tomorrow we can be pretty sure we'd know about it.
