It would happen regardless tho. There's always gaps between news releases from any studio, even if R* released things every other month or so, there'd be massive amounts of misinformation. It would not stop.

Announcement or not tomorrow, I went a few months without watching the trailer and finally cracked a view on it again and man.. We are in for such a great goddamn time, just gotta be patient fellas

If Rockstar at least announced the game's price to end that $100 bs it would be a great start, preferably with the pre-order and release date.

once it‘s out that it’s 69.99/79.99$ on release, people will start using that to justify them saying it will suck, it will flop, disappoint…

My gawd I'm so over it if they don't give an update in april and before people start crying about 6 month marketing crap . They released trailer 1 almost 15 months ago thats 1.5 years , terrible drought !!

Rockstar should make VI's marketing based on the fans who knows the game will be good, not on conniving content creators who will find any reason to say that the game sucks.

 

I can already picture how things will be like later this year...

We've been speculating WHAT we will see in Trailer 2, but HOW LONG do y'all think the next trailer will be? 

We've now milked every drop there is from all 1 minute 30 seconds from Trailer 1, I sure hope we get at least 1 minute for Trailer 2...

We on GTA Forums are on the sad side of the bus, we can’t push batsh*t insane theories with questionable source or just spread misinformation and later debunk it and theoreticize about it because the mods gonna get hard when they see this and they will stop the discussion here and now. This is like the biggest drought ever and we can’t even kill time with some obviously fake things.

 

Meanwhile people on reddit are on the happy side of the bus, getting fed with stuff to discuss and laugh at 24/7, maybe they are a bit delusional and discussion on reddit sucks as it’s not an old school type forum and reddit is sh*t as a platform because, mostly due to Karma system and people being a bit more anonymous.

I am not sure which system is better but at least they have some dopamine in this drought.

Trailer 2 was released. But it was a minute long video in which, for some reason, half of it was an advertising for a company from another industry. 

 

However, at the end it put "stay tuned for the gameplay premiere in early April", and I thought: now that's interesting!

Watch Trailer 2 is just a shorter version of Trailer 1 all with reused footage and a release date

We didn't get news for so long at this point that I would accept only getting the release date, pre-order information and such, without literally anything else until the game's release lol.
