I feel like this community is about to get another wake up call that's not gonna work because 3 weeks from now everyone's gonna be believing the same old randoms.

Please tell me, since I wasn't around back then, but have the community theories gotten worse compared to the GTA V drought? :sadkek:

Oh yes, magnitudes worse lol. There was a fair amount of "rando says this, they must have connections" but it's magnitudes worse now, with how much bigger Reddit and social media are.

Also, a trailer wouldn't be RELEASED tomorrow as they literally always pre-announce their big trailers. So if anything it'd be an announcement.

That's just how it is and most likely going to be. It's the same way with people complaining and getting angry at the first sight of something they don't like, without doing any research at all. People on the internet use their emotions too much, and hardly any logic. And there's no way to teach them not to do that either. So the more people use social media, the worse it will get.

I said it before, and I’ll say it again. This is what happens when you try to milk a game for 12 years. The community is beyond fed up with GTA 5, but they live in their own bubble.

I said it before, and I'll say it again, blaming the actions of a few people and clickbaiters on the company is also stupid.

I absolutely don't know how video games are developed, but I have a feeling that it is precisely because of the online segment of GTA 6 that this game has been under development for so long.

I repeat, I don't understand this, but it feels like GTA 6 Online/Online 2 has invested an incredible amount of hours, money and effort, and this is one of the main factors why the game as a whole has been created for so long. After all, they actually need to surprise people with this new online experience after GTA 5, right?

It is clear that the amount of content in the new online will not be the same as in 11 years in GTA 5, but I wonder what they will surprise us with?

I booted up online yesterday, after a few hours of Mafia III, thinking, If I don’t feel like doing the Titan Job, I‘ll atleast spin the wheel…

words cannot describe how sick and tired I am of LS & V.

drove to the casino and quit the game after 5 minutes.

well, given the fact that this is the first GTA release where the focus and the scope of Online is as big as it is…

V‘s online was never planned to be this vast & long-running. So whatever they have in mind, it’s going to be big & long-lasting.

Me personally, I hope they take the dull grind-n-repeat out of the online formula, there is huge potential for it to be it‘s own thing, story-driven, dynamic…

Of course they‘ll want to earn money and I‘ll gladly buy battle passes or whatever they’ve got planned…

Ehhh I personally don't think so, R* does put quite a big focus on the SP portions of their games during main development, and if my theory about Online coming much later than SP comes true, then even more so.

Yeah, I hope online launches a few weeks later so we can fully enjoy the single-player. Also, I really hope YouTubers and streamers don’t get early access—I want to watch some streams without getting spoiled or feeling rushed to finish the game.

Spider-Vice

Might not be any early access even for fan sites I guess considering it's something as big as GTA VI, but we'll see. Fan sites did get 3 days or so of early access to RDR2 on consoles, and the RDR port was also sent over early to content creators and fan sites but that's just a port of a 2010 game, so...

Given the late release of RDOnline and the initial bugs in GTA Online, I'm sure VI's online will be released at least two months after single player.

As much as I’m sick of GTA Online, I sometimes have to remind myself that the money they’ve made from it probably allows them to make GTA VI even better

I mean they sold 150 million copies of the game, not sure if Online money would matter in deciding a budget of GTA VI when the base game sold this much.

The revenue of GTA V by the time GTA VI was starting developement was already in the billions of dollars.

It absolutely does. V wouldn't have sold anywhere near 210m copies without online, and they would've had to come up with ways to get stuff like RDR2 or VI quicker. That automatically ensures a lower scope and budget from the get-go.

DesotoCountyDoe

Big thing is that they will undoubtedly aim to make VI Online it's own platform, like Fortnite and... uhm... Roblox.  :kekw:

Point being everything will be much more advanced and undoubtedly will make V's online look fanmade almost.

Roleplaying, Mission Creation, most importantly, a system that allows big expansions to be made already being in place.

Don't get me wrong, I liked GTA Online. Back in 2016. It's pretty stale now.

like that one highschool friend you hold dear in your heart because of the "good times", you just don't have a lot to say to each other anymore.

Remember when is indeed, the lowest form of conversation...

anyways, not that he's to be trusted at the moment, but apparently that Zesty guy shared an instagram story, yet again hinting towards the trailer, with Meat Loaf - I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That) playing.

FORUM USER LEAKS TRAILER 2 SONG!

just thought that was interesting, something to keep the dream machine up and running...

To the returning members, it's a bit of policy to stop sharing things from potential random clickbaiters and giving them attention so can we please not keep doing this to that Zesty guy? Last time people did this it was one guy who even posted a video about trolling the whole community by making a whole fake scenario.
