    III Aircraft

    III Aircraft Oh well. For some reason, Rockstar never let us fly with proper aircraft in III-era Liberty City - both GTA III and GTA LCS didn't feature usable helicopters nor planes (although they could be spawned in LCS). However, due to the fact Vice City was developed at around the same time as III, some code got mixed up. Luckily for gamers, one of the mixups was proper helicopters and planes handling! This modification brings several helicopters and planes from the other GTAs to old good GTA III. They handle almost like their VC/SA counterparts, although they may feature some minor differences. Thanks to III CLEO* they'll also appear spawned on the map in several locations. * Not available for Steam version.   8. GTA III Player Skin Selector Version 1.1 Description This is a simple CLEO script that allows you to change your player skin! Over 40 special skins are available, ranging from story characters, police officers, and even unused characters! Skins even persist after saving the game! NOTE: THIS MOD DOES NOT ADD SKINS TO THE GAME! It simply allows you to choose skins that aren't normally accessible via the ILIKEDRESSINGUP cheat. Installation Installation is simple! Just extract the .zip archive and copy the CLEO folder into your game directory. This mod is supported on both CLEO v1 and CLEO v2. How to Use When the game is loaded, press F12 to enter skin selection mode (laptop users may need to press Fn+F12). Use the left and right arrow keys to browse skins. When you've found a skin you like, press Enter to exit skin selection mode and apply the skin. You can also press Alt+F12 to quickly toggle between the current skin and the default skin (Claude in street clothes). Known Issues The game will crash if you attempt to watch a cutscene while using any skin other than the default skin (Claude in street clothes). The reason for this is not yet known. To circumvent the issue, the Alt+F12 keystroke was implemented (see above). Use this before watching any cutscene, or better yet, don't play missions while using a different skin.   9. rwd3d9 is a library you can link your III and VC asi-mods against to get access to d3d9 features, namely vertex- and pixel-shaders. You still need a d3d8 to 9 wrapper that supports QueryInterface to get the d3d9 device (d3d8to9 recommended), so why should you use it? Simple, RW keeps a cache of pixel- and vertex-shaders that has to be kept up to date. When more than one mod wants to mess with the cache it will very likely become inconsistent and bad things will happen. So the idea is to have only one mod (this one) handle the cache and have all others dynamically link against it. Just include rwd3d9.h, link against rwd3d9.lib and put rwd3d9.dll into your game's main directory. When the dll is loaded it will hook all necessary places by itself. You can use it with asis that are loaded early (e.g. by the ultimate asi loader) or late (e.g. by the built-in mss32 loader). The library is very small currently because I just implemented what I needed for SkyGfx and sharptrails. If you make changes, please make a pull request or something so we won't have many incompatible versions.     Advance™ HQ Weapon Icons

    The Starting Point. Note: The following text is actually a direct narration of Mr.Mike. This is a modification for any of the GTA games,to bring our 2D,8-bit quality weapon icons in high quality.As our own resources are not modifiable into better quality ones and installed on the GBA,I decided to contact this Vercetti guy on making the weapon icons.I also saw a post in which he promised a member on releasing the HQ Weapon icons.I waited for nearly 3 years and after seeing no progress,decided to contact this guy. You can install his icons on any of the GTA games(not on 2D universe and in GTA Advance,of course.).There are totally 15 icons in this mod,plus one additional icon for Molotov cocktail as he was in doubt on designing the icon. While you think about the similarities between original and the duplicate(This mod),you may notice some differences.It is mainly because of our world,in which everything is 8-bit,including me. Feel free to leave feedback on the same. + Cartel Crusher (WIP) Thanks for the feedback everyone. Was working on the Cartel Cruiser earlier and started messing with a few data. Now, I present the Cartel Crusher. It's a sort of Monster Truck version of the Cruiser. Can easily maneuver over other vehicles and less prone to over turning. Improved the wheelbase and suspension to make it more like a Monster Truck. You can easily slide a vehicle under it without any issues. + Improved GTA III Script This Script modification is a collection of script improvements that I did for easier gameplay and allowing some perks early in game which can come in handy. Max Player Health is 250 now. GTA LCS Thunderrodd: This is a simple conversion of the LCS Vehicle Thunderrodd to GTA III. GTA LCS Kuruma: This is a simple conversion of the LCS Vehicle Kuruma to GTA III. GTA III Unlocked Script: This mod that allows a user to complete all missions in any order, just after Luigi's Girls. You can basically access all the islands as well. Beta Cops Model: A simple Cop model from the Beta Edition of GTA III. This is a small texture replacement that adds mustached cop models in game. Beta Gang Cars: This mod sets the Gang Members to drive the cars meant to be used while GTA III was still in Beta Phase. Attached below is a list of what vehicles each gang drives. SA Misc Sounds: This mod changes the misc sounds to SA sounds. Like pickup, click sounds. Just replace the files in audio folder. IV Mission Complete Sound: This changes the mission complete sound to the one of IV. Just copy the file to the audio folder. Fed Ex Rumpo: This is a simple conversion of the Fed Ex Van to GTA III. GTA IV Loadscreen: This is changes the boring blue loadscreen to a colorful and new IV style loadscreen. DHL Van: This is a simple conversion of the DHL Van to GTA III. Better Weapon Sounds: With this mod you can change the boring low quality sounds to high quality ones. VC Admiral: The mods brings the Admiral car from Vice City to III. It replaces the Kuruma. VC Sabre: This mods brings the Sabre car from Vice City to III. It replaces the Manana. VC Topfun Van: This is a simple conversion of the VC Topfun to GTA III. VC Voodoo: This is a simple conversion of the VC Voodoo to GTA III. This mod will replace Yardie Lobo. VC Washington: This is a simple conversion of the VC Washington to GTA III. Replaces Blista. VC Comet: The mods brings the Comet car from Vice City to III. It replaces the Bobcat.     I have converted a beta vehicle from GTA LCS to GTA III, the Tommy: It will not replace any car, I am making it a completely new vehicle. So far, it works great Here is a quick gameplay video: Even though it looks ugly in the modelling programs, in-game it looks better. And more importantly, it looks like as if it was totally intended for GTAIII. I really have a lot of fun driving around in it! Checklist: convert original .dff from iOS LCS (done, thanks to The Hero's RW file converter!) fix windscreen_dam (the windscreen will become white untextured when damaged) fix _dam parts make collision (uses original .col) handling.cfg data (uses original data) GXT data convert original .txd make it spawn in traffic properly (currently Class is set as taxi) make nice carcols fix reflections RELEASE! I've always wanted to make a decent wantedLevel mod involving Hydra attack and this is the best I can do. This extra star mod was originaly meant to be only for GTAIII & VC. Later I decided to make it for SA... So why would you try this mod again when I already made it for GTA SA? Well, the original SA STAR7 mod have many problems such as: - all wanted level ground vehicles from STAR 7 were made by me and not by the game, - the mod has too many codes instead of just one [or two], - police boat patrols [predator - game created] are disabled, - wanted level 7 in the air is still the same - 2 hydras and police helicopter... So here's the improved version: - all game created vehicles are now enabled at 7th star (including WL boats), - there are no vehicles created by the script - everything is game related, - increased the maxWantedLevelChaos limit, - increased the limit of max HYDRA planes created by wanted level system, - if you're driving a car on the open road or somewhere else outside the cities (like rural areas, highways...) only one HYDRA will attack your car [also game created], - only tanks will be present (army trucks will show up only on roadblocks), - instead of the NSA agents I bring back the soldiers again and not just in cars but also on foot, - if you go to the restricted areas like military zones or if you leave the town at the start of the game - you will get 7 stars, - max wanted level will always be 7, - standard cheats for wanted level are still active, however six star cheats like 'BRINGITON' will activate 7 stars, - besides them I added 4 new cheats: - STAR7 - STAR6 - STAR5 - CLEAR It's obvious what they do right? Install: Just extract all files from my archive into the modloader/CLEO directory: [if you're using the old version of STAR 7 mod for GTA SA then you should remove it]. Supported game version: GTA SA 1.0 HOODLUM Credits: To modify cheats I used this cheat table created by fastman92 There're many ways to modify this code so it might be possible that STAR 8 will be released as a new WL mod in the future.
  16. I took Toni's LCS head, used his GTA3 texture and put it on Luigi's body (also removed the tie and retextured it). I think he looks pretty lore-friendly, I like it share your opinions.   17. 'sup. I was bored so I decided to alter the original GTA3 rampages to be more or less the same as the LCS ones. Some weapons from LCS didn't appear in III so I had to use some placeholders but all of them can be completed. The locations are nearly identical to the LCS ones, I couldn't get the coords to match them exactly. Sadly, you have to start a new game to play these but if you're bored and you wanna start a new game, why not? I'm also thinking about making a mod that would replace the guns with their LCS counterparts in most cases, but we shall see.     3ds max track/path editor

    Wrote a little script today to edit train tracks or flight paths (same thing really) of gta III: It also handles camera definitions (train.dat), see my post below. http://aap.papnet.eu/gta/3dsmax/gtatracks.ms Put into 3ds max' startup directory and open the rollout from the maxscript panel. You can add train stations by putting the distances in the edit box and click "add stations" with the track spline selected. When you click "info", the default (hardcoded) train stops are printed to the maxscript listener for copy and paste convenience. The stops are imported as dummies as children of the spline object. On export all objects that are children of that spline are printed as distance values as used by III in the maxscript listener. Have fun. EDIT: Maybe you want to know how to actually edit the train stations: The calls to CTrain::ReadAndInterpretTrackFile at 54F035 (el-train) and 54F06D (subway) have as arguments the number of stations and the station distances on the path measuring from the first path node. float StationDist[3] at 602284 float StationDist_S[4] at 602290 Moving and removing stations is easy. Just change the distance value and (optionally) decrease the number of distances in the function call. Adding stations might need increasing of arrays.

    Introduction Exclusive Bang is a modification for Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City utilizing the CLEO Library. The built-in cheats "BANGBANGBANG" for GTA III and "BIGBANG" for Vice City blow up all vehicles but they could be better if they did not blow up your own vehicle. With this mod, type "BIGBANG" in GTA III or "BANGBANGBANG" in Vice City to blow up all vehicles except the one you are currently in.     A Classic Texture Pack

    It's been almost 20 years since the release of the original Grand Theft Auto and to satisfy people's lust until a true 3D conversion is made, I have made a texture pack for GTA3. Version 1.0: Roads - Replaced with converted textures from the original Grand Theft Auto. (Top-Down View is recommended for full nostalgia) Grass - Converted from GTA1. Water - Converted from GTA1 with particle effects Pavements/Side-walks - The classic yellow brick texture from GTA1 Player - Low detail skin with yellow jumper and blue trousers. Weapon Icons - Original icons converted from GTA1 with some others made in the same style. Radar - Based off the map that came with the original game, incl. map icons HUD - Powerhouse font with R* stars. Time-Cycle - Permanently sunny with a bright blue sky. Fonts - Pricedown has been replaced with Powerhouse (the titular GTA1 font) and Clarendon has taken place of Geneva. Menus - Classic GTA1 menu background with custom logo Intros - DMA intro with custom titles. Splash Screens - Artwork from GTA1 showing various characters. For now it only works for gta3 v1.0 [1.1 WIP] This is a CLEO code which mostly modifies weapon effects on characters... Description [gta3]: - player recieves the same type of damage and has the same type of death animations as an NPC, - head component is now visible, - M16 first person crosshair replaced with a sniper crosshair (with a zoom option), - increased shotgun bullet force and fire blast size [bullet can throw N(PC)'s further away], - Uzi can not remove components but it's deadly just like the default M16 - same type of animations, - Ak47 will produce the same type of damage effect on the N(PC)'s as the default M16 assault riffle, - M16 will still be the most destructive riffle - beside component lost it will also produce shotgun hit animations, - the explosion effects the dead peds too and it can seriosly damage the player, - player will drop weapons if wasted just like an NPC (not working), - if the player lost 1 or more components he will be restored to the original state at the restart point, - increased size and density of particles produced by firearms, - component lost will produce more blood particles, - 2 cheats enabled: ENABLEGORE: new weapon and explosion effects, blood and component lost. DISABLEGORE: no blood, no component lost.
