VCS WIP Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories - HD HUD for PCSX2

Hi there! This is a project that's been in the works for a while now but it is finally in a decent enough state where I can finally drop an initial WIP release! Its goal is quite simple actually, it aims to make the HUD look nicer, I know that some people would solely replay the game because of that. I hope you guys are going to enjoy this mod! I would sincerely like to thank my friends who helped me out with the project because this wasn't going to be possible without their help. Features: A completely redrawn (in 4K) pause menu map, which is also used for the in-game radar. High quality weapon icons, including the unused landmine's icon, for those of you that care. 4K Fonts. High quality map icons. Fully redrawn empire racket icons. And more potentially, hehe, I'll leave the rest for you to discover. Notes: Some of the textures might not look that good, I need feedback and if any of you want to contribute, please let me know. You can message me privately if you're interested. There are a few upscaled textures, such as the pause menu background, the controller from the pause menu and the post card that's shown when the game loads in the next island. I didn't really know what to do with them so it is what it is for now. The loading screens and legal disclaimers remain untouched, the main focus as of right now is everything that you see once you've loaded in. Supported game versions: As of right now, only SLUS-21590 is supported. If anyone is interested in porting over the textures to other versions, please let me know. Downloads: SLUS-21590: HD HUD with PS Icons: Google Drive MediaFire HD HUD with Xbox Icons: Coming later. Installation: Download your version of choice and unpack the textures folder to your PCSX2 folder. This requires one of the nightly builds so that you can replace textures. Once extracted there, fire up PCSX2, open your graphics settings, go to the advanced tab and turn on "Load Textures" I personally have "Async Texture Loading" & "Precache Textures" turned on as well. These settings are optional but I do believe they'll make the experience even better for you. Credits: TareqGamer for redrawing both the map and the empire racket icons. Parallellines for making the L1 and R1 icons, alongside massively helping out with fixing the in-game radar's alpha and splitting it into tiles/chunks. djdarko for letting me use his 4K fonts (Click here to check them out). Ryadica926 for the weapon icons, they were taken from Ryadica's VCS Styled VC, unfortunately though, Ryadica disappeared and I was unable to ask for permission. SonOfUgly for some of the textures, I couldn't get in touch with them either unfortunately. Check out their HD UI texture pack for PPSSPP here. Solidcal for testing it out, bearing with me through the journey and also helping me port over the textures because when I initially started working on it the only way to replace textures was to use Topaz’s plugin for PCSX2 which was unofficial and inefficient compared to the official tool that was implemented to PCSX2 somewhat recently. I truly do hope that me using some of Ryadica and SonOfUgly's textures is not going to be a problem. This is a non-profit project, aimed at giving VCS a bit of life. Screenshots:
