Do any games have a more realistic world, city, physics, AI, and amoun
MonsterCockDude replied to MonsterCockDude's topic in GTA V
Who is we? Because I and some other people prefer more realistic games. In Saints Row, and GTA Vice City cars stop even quicker and turn corners quicker compared to GTA IV, and Need For Speed you can take corners faster then Gran Turismo yet pretty much everyone would agree that GTA IV and Gran Turismo have more advanced and better driving that requires more skills. Why not just make it so R* gives players the choice or option, similar to how they have auto or assisted aim for players who are not good at video games and free aim for players who want a more challenging game. Realism =/= challenging. "Yeah! f*ck having fun! Let's make a game that is no different from real life!" - You Yeah and realism in video games = fun and excitement. If not why is it that the top racing, and sports games are games that simulate those events properly? You would honestly find a game that actually simulated bank robberies, gang shootouts, high level drug dealing, pimping, robberies, evading and running from the police to be boring? Just because your real life is boring, doesn't mean that a video game that simulates somewhat realistically events that 99% of the population would not be involved in, would be boring. Gta IV driving is terrible, I can't believe how anyone can say driving in that game is close to realistic. The suspension on cars are like pogo sticks jumping all over The place. I have driven all kinds Of cars in RL and I have never experienced that kind Of body roll, even The stiffest car in IV rolls more than my 77 Cadillac Coupe Deville. And dont get me startes on The buttery Brakes... V is closer to realistic, but far from it, but for a game it is perfect IMO. Yeah I said the game wasn't perfect, but compare GTA IV driving to other free roaming games before it, and it was obviously a lot more advanced compared to the others except for maybe Mafia and it still has the best level of car deformation in the genre. -

Do any games have a more realistic world, city, physics, AI, and amoun
MonsterCockDude posted a topic in GTA V
Obviously a lot of things make this game unrealistic, but do any games do these things better then GTA V does? Realistic world ( amount of traffic, and pedestrians, NPC's activities, animals, dialogue, radio/cinema/tv shows, etc that parodies or simulates the real world? ) Realistic city ( size of city, layout of city, landmarks, different type's of neighborhoods ) Realistic physics ( in terms of humans, vehicles, damage ) Realistic AI ( responding to the player, or going about their business, in shootouts, driving around, etc ) Amount of freedom ( things and activities to do ) Now I have played a bit of open world games. GTA series, Mafia series, ARMA, Operation Flashpoint, Watch Dogs, Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire, Saints Row, True Crime, The Godfather, and seen people stream Sleeping Dogs. Now ARMA and Operation Flashpoint are marketed as simulators, and obviously are more realistic in terms of damage your character and others can take, and in terms of weapon physics, recoiling, weapon sway, player movement, and has a massive world and a lot of freedom, but those games had awful AI, a lot of bugs and the world was empty unless you scripted it or programmed it, and they had awful vehicle movement. The Mafia series, had some realistic features especially Mafia 1 for it's time, Mafia 2 had refueling cars, cops investigating crime scenes, a somewhat realistic story, somewhat realistic vehicle physics, a wanted system which relied on you having to change your appearance or vehicles appearance after losing line of sight from the cops to shake the cops off, it also had a pretty realistic city or world even if it was pretty small and was built off historical events. However it also had pretty bad car damage, the AI was not very smart, your guy could take a lot of shots, and didn't have much to do, and had a small amount of traffic or pedestrians. Watch Dogs, has a pretty good city of Chicago, with some stuff going on, parking lots are filled with cars, a decent amount of traffic, pedestrians or AI is somewhat smart, people call the cops on you if they see you have a weapon, and it even has a "realistic mode" where your guy gets killed in about 2 or 3 shots and the AI is decently smart in shootouts and takes cover and flanks. However it also has no animals, not a lot of activities, pretty much no crimes for you to do in free roam, no TV shows to watch, and a hacked cell phone that controls the entire city, enemies that show up on your screen when hiding behind cover, cops that cannot be shaken off in a car chase or by hiding, awful car damage, awful car handling physics. The Godfather games, don't really remember anything about these games so they probably weren't very good, although I think they had pretty good fighting or melee system. True Crime- Actually had a really good city and map for it's time, True Crime Streets of NYC had a full version of Manhattan if I remember right, even though most streets were the same and they would sprinkle in some landmarks, just about every thing else about the game was pretty bad though and not worth mentioning. Saints Row and Sleeping Dogs- Haven't played Sleeping Dogs but I saw streams of it, and Saints Row are pretty comparable both games are so bad that they don't even try to be serious, they know that they cannot compete with GTA probably because they don't have the budget to make a technically impressive game, so they just try to put in a game with a lot of over the top things to do, as opposed to putting in quality gameplay. In Saints Row the enemy doesn't take cover, they stand in place and shoot and are very inaccurate, car chases are stupid, car handling is about GTA San Andreas level, physics are over the top, AI is very dumb, story is silly, but obviously they do those things intentionally and have now tried to make the game as over the top as possible by turning it into a super hero game. GTA IV, of all the games on this list has the most realistic car handling, and car damage, even though still a lot could be done to make it better, internet and news, it also had a pretty impressive Liberty City even though it was not very big it was still very impressively detailed, also your character could take a bit of shots but wasn't exactly a bullet sponge, early on the story was believable with your character playing as an Eastern European criminal doing somewhat realistic crimes, however the game is now dated compared to GTA V, as it does not have animals, has a small map, no first person mode, a lack of traffic, and the cops AI was not very good, and pretty much no activities to do in free roam, and pretty much no freedom. Red Dead Redemption, this game is probably up there as the most realistic in the genre, they gave you a mode where you have less health that makes the game harder, your guy is not a bullet sponge, the missions aren't all massive shootouts, the story is somewhat based on history, the world is pretty detailed, the game gives you a lot of activities and things to do. Basically this might be the best in the genre, but since it is not coming out on the PC it seems, it's not modable, also it's set in the old west so not exactly a time period that people can relate to. LA Noire, this game was also pretty realistic you play as a detective investigating crimes so you don't really get to many over the top moments in the game and you don't get into to many shootouts, and you have to use your head to play the game, it's also got a pretty good map and a detailed city, however the game pretty much gives you 0 freedom as when your free roaming you hardly have any activities to do, also if I remember right the car handling wasn't very good nor was the car damage. Now let's go to GTA V, the story is not very realistic at all towards the middle or end of the game, the car handling is easier and less realistic and the car damage was turned down, regenerating health was put into the game and your character is more of a bullet sponge, you can carry a lot more weapons, and the enemy AI is way to accurate of a shot. However, the game has one of the biggest maps in the genre, a detailed city, loads of traffic and pedestrians ( compared to the other games ), a lot of activities to do, first person mode, cops that don't crash into street lights on a lot of turns or into other cars when in pursuit of you ( like in GTA IV ), animals, a stock market, all sorts of vehicles to use and more freedom, characters that have families and can interact with other pedestrians, store robberies and many other details. Basically my point is that, GTA V is easily the best open world game in the genre ( and since it's new and comes from a company that makes good free roam games that's to be expected ) but as a crime game it could have been a lot better and the closest thing to a sim if R* had made a few changes, but instead R* decided to go the unrealistic arcade route. This is why I think that GTA V easily has the most potential when it gets modded, turn off regenerating health, make it so your guy has a similar amount of health compared to the NPC's, make it so your characters have low player stats, put in more realistic car damage and handling ( this is something a lot of people are already planning to mod ), make the cops a bit smarter, and put in a few scripts to incorporate some good ideas from other free roam games and you got the closest thing to a simulator in the genre. It's just a shame though, that R* had to dumb down the game because people complained after GTA IV, it was obvious that the direction they took GTA IV and RDR was to make the game get more technically impressive and realistic, but GTA V on the next gen is 2 steps forward ( more activities, freedom, more traffic and pedestrians doing things, animals, better AI, first person mode ) and 1 step backwards ( dumbed down fighting system, regenerating health, and worse vehicle handling and car damage, and stupid over the top story and missions ) in a genre that still needs a real realistic crime simulator. -
Why Rockstar should not get away with the Map layout!
undertaker fan replied to iddqdvie's topic in GTA V
Rockstar will get away with this. I agree with you that the map layout is a little easy but its still an awesome map they ever created. Because they wanted to try multiplayer to its limits in gta v. The effort they did with GTA Online is really awesome. GTA V is an awesome game but if you don't love it then play saints row. -
Rockstar really f*cked BIG TIME with the use of money in V, when they decided not include purchasable safehouse properties, the LA-styled setting was perfect for it. That one of the worst moves they made during V's development. There were so many nice-looking, stunning, luxury mansions in Los Santos, and it was real painful to know you could not enjoy the pleasurable experience of splashing out your hard-earned cash on one of your choice. What made it even much worse was when Franklin was simply 'given' his mansion (as nice as it looked), and not made to work for owning it - that was serious bullsh*t. The very least Rockstar could have done was allow Franklin to spend money on a safehouse property of his choice, because he was the one that had more drive to make big money as he desperately trying to get out of the hood and live a better life and existence. Michael already lived in a mansion, and Trevor enjoyed living like dirty scruffbag. Buying a new home would have perfectly fit the end rewards of Franklin's efforts in the game. No, Rockstar said f*ck that, just give it to him like you'd give away your old car to a family or friend. Buying businesses in V would have been just fine had it not been for the messed up profit-making structure. Firstly, businesses were overly too expensive to buy from the get go. Secondly, it took so long to start getting cash returns from your businesses, it took so long that it would make you no longer bothered to go around collecting your proceeds. By the time you made a few profit collections, the story was over and you already had 30 million dollars in the bank ! So as a result, owning businesses became pretty much useless to many, including me. I completely lost the excitement in owning businesses in V, unlike as in Vice City and San Andreas which I enjoyed a lot. Safehouse interior customization would have been a great idea too - even the laughable Saints Row series had this really good feature in it's second installment. The stocks and shares system was very time consuming and a bit confusing at times. Again, these factors lead me not bother with it. I found the whole thing a waste of time and a waste of money frankly. It's a shame, because I really looked forward to this feature in particular. Buying cars/vehicles and customization was very good, I enjoyed spending money on that. I know it's only food, but there should have fast-food outlets to spend money on food. Could have varied things up. To just spend money on sodas and chocolate bars is kinda silly, when in past GTAs you could actually buy hot food and sodas. There should have been other simple, but fun stuff to spend money on, like buying expensive jewelry, gambling, betting, or even drugs to buy and sell. They could have come up with simple, straightfoward, but very fun ideas to make the gameplay much more enjoyable and interesting. The theme of pursing money was not well manifested in the money spending aspect of V. It could have been done much better. Not true at all. Vice City and San Andreas has more than enough cool stuff to spend your money on. It was the stuff that I could buy in those games that even spurred me on harder to make more and more money fast. I still remember how proud and joyous I felt when I first played VC and bought my first safehouse property with my hard-earned cash. I remember thinking, "yes, Tommy now has his own home and don't have to stay in a hotel no more". Then I remember for the first time seeing all these businesses in VC to buy and hearing in cut-scenes how Tommy wanted to take over the city - now I was ever more determined make huge amounts of cash and create my own crime and business empire. I I loved that sh*t, and I really miss that feeling in GTA.

Why Rockstar should not get away with the Map layout!
S1N0D3UTSCHT3K replied to iddqdvie's topic in GTA V
because they wanted to release the game after 5 years instead of 10? ....no one including Rockstar wouldn't prefer 3 cities to 1 but if we had 3x the cities then they'd be 1/3rd as good mostly likely Rockstar will get away with it because what you're describing is subjective.... some people prefer 1 really good city rather than 3 decent cities. heck, some of the IV fans here would probably sacrifice even the V countryside to have R* focus on just Los Santos itself because some people rather have 1 super good city than city+countryside or 3 cities. so, as long as some people rather R* focus on 1 city or 1 city plus countryside, they will get away with it. especially when critcally all 3 games score between 95-98% and commercially IV sold 25m, SA sold 28m, and V has likely sold over 35-37m now i mean, how exactly are you going to stop them from getting away with it? you post as if this is an objective fact that everyone agrees with except for Rockstar and that we here have the power to force them to change the map is amazing. IV and SA's maps are amazing for other reasons. all have their own creative and technical achievements. none of them are bad or should be complained about. if you think any GTA map is bad, go play a Saints Row game and then come back. -
It would be a nice touch if Rockstar added a burp- and fart button like in GTA II and then making it possible to kill people if you fart them in the face. That is just a further step towards the direction we are heading - Saint's Row.

What do you feel is missing from V (online or SP)
YourGirlHasABigNose. replied to AlisaM's topic in GTA V
I feel that. LCHC got a little better after the expansions, Cannibal Corpse! Yeah, Rockstar have never given us metal and I doubt they ever will, it is a shame. Saints Row is the only game that delivers a good Heavy Metal soundtrack. All this punk in GTA V is awful! I mean, Amoeba and Black Flag's song are good, but the rest... they are really awful. Rockstar used to make top notch Soundtracks but V was a little bit of a let down, there is a lot of good music, then there is a lot of bad music that doesn't really go...Robbie Williams? Really. -
I personally feel that Zombies have no f********* place in Gta. I have grown playing this series and i loved it for its realism factor and great story lines. Recently i have been spotting some bad designed cars which made my think of Saints Row( and i didn't like it) . Some things are pure GTA like realism, story and i feel that should not be changed at any cost. I mean if R* wanted this it would make other supernatural things true( Like Bigfoot). And i think that you should bear in mind that GTA is an adult franchise too and cant always please the little kids.

Weird, for me the frame rate actually shoots up when the game's weather is stormy. In Max Payne 3, GTA IV and a few other games like Saints Row The Third or Mafia II. I'm using a GTX 550 Ti 1GB, oldie but goodie... well actually oldie but mid-rangey, but it got the job done at least until the "New-gen" garbage ports began to hit. First game that I've found unplayable on it was Assassins Creed Unity.
-
I'm definitely not a fan of mods like that, i'd rather go with something more realistic, something that fits GTA more...but then again we have zombies, rail guns and aliens now dunno...I feel like GTA turns into Saints Row lately and given the manner in which R* chosen to release their additional content even strengthen that fact! There were lots of dlc packs, that added mostly silly items in SR game, consisting of cloths/vehicles/weapon and its upgrades! You can spot the exact same tendency with R*, even Firework Launcher (which does almost no damage and is there just for gags!) is there to prove my point! If you followed recent SR game and its additional content you'd understand what i mean...

Pretty hard to spot, they don't stand out the way they used to. Or perhaps I've been playing too much Saints Row:
-
There should have been a Heavy Metal station. Though Metal is full of Sub-Genres it would have been a nice touch. Many games shy away from the heavier/dark side of metal (except for Saints Row). These are a few bands and songs I think would have been good for GTA V. + A few songs for other sations. The Dillinger Escape Plan - When I Lost My Bet. Volumes - Affirmation Of Ascension Whitechapel - The Saw Is The Law Cryptopsy - Cleansing The Host Architects - Follow The Water American HeadCharge - Never Get Caught Divine Heresy - This Threat Is Real Meshuggah - Bleed The Red Chord - Blue Line Cretin Thy Art Is Murder - Reign Of Darkness Job For A Cowboy - Plastic Idols The Black Dahlia Murder - Deathmask Divine The Agony Scene - Scapegoat Bleed From Within - Devotion Heart Of A Coward - Distance I've played the game with those songs playing and they go with it. For the other stations, here are my picks. The Naked And Famous - Hearts Like Ours. Sigur Ros - Hoppipolla Depeche Mode - Enjoy The Silence Deftones - Entombed Mastodon - Circle Of Cysquatch Logistics - Crystal Skies Radiohead - Airbag Rage Against The Machine - Guerrilla Radio Mobb Deep - Drink Away The Pain Method Man/Redman - Fire Ina Hole Marilyn Manson - President Dead Alice In Chains - Nutshell Pulse Ultra - Build Your Cages Pet Shop Boys - It's Alright System Of A Down - Radio/Video DMX - Let Me Fly Cultura Tres - And Then I Woke Up Busta Rhymes - Gimme Some More Lynyrd Skynyrd - Poison Whiskey My Vitriol - Cemented Shoes Devil Sold His Soul - Crane Lake Municipal Waste - Chemically Altered Noisia - Could This Be The Notorious B.I.G - Juicy Naughty By Nature - Feel Me Flow Method Man - Your All I Need (Original) Wu-Tang Clan - Wu-Tang Clan Ain't Nuthing Ta F' Wit Tears For Fears - Everybody Wants To Rule The World

Pre-Warning - This is a Rant I expected the next-gen release of GTA V to have the updated soundtrack that was promised, I am so revolted with the soundtrack I actually feel physically ill if I think about it for more than several minutes. Yes it pisses me off that f*cking much. I don't know if I just have horrific timing, but so far I have heard very few if ANY of the new songs promised with the next-gen release, instead I constantly hear the original soundtrack repeating, I have heard maybe 8-10 of ALL the new songs. I constantly surf the radio, searching for anything REMOTELY acceptable to listen to. Blue Ark - I have tried to listen to this station on numerous occasions, I would always skip to this station if I couldn't find anything else, but the songs would always feel extremely repetitive and/or painfully out of rhythm to the point that I could never listen to an entire song front to back. Worldwide FM - I radio swap to this often, but have yet to find a song I can stand for more than 5 seconds. FlyLo FM - A friend of mine was listening to this station and there was a decent beat playing, yet I can't seem to find any other songs which retain that level of mellow, not to mention the ones with the annoying out-of-rhythm chiming sounds. The Lowdown FM/Space 103.2 - Any time I radio swap to this I hear disco-pop type music; this stuff sucked when it was new. Radio Mirror Park - There are maybe two or three songs on this station I enjoy, and they are ones that were used in the main game soundtrack during story missions: Shine a Light - C90's (Rarely ever played if at all; the song played during Michael's drug trip), Sleepwalking - The Chain Gang of 1974 (The end credits song Option: C), A modified Don't Feel the Same - Battle Tapes (The actual song is at a faster tempo, I hate the slowed down GTA V version) The rest of the songs are full of annoying chirps and bits that sound out of sync and detract from the song so much it actually ruins the songs. Vinewood Boulevard Radio - I'm not sure what kind of rock this is considered; new age? Not sure if it's just me but it feels too much like pop-music; garbage. Los Santos Rock Radio - The MAIN reason I had to respond to this post; THIS STATION IS AN ATROCIOUS BLASPHEMY TO THE NAME OF ROCK MUSIC!!! Stevie Nicks? Seriously? For f*ck sake, that is the essence of pop music from that time! That is NOT rock music! Simple Minds, Queen (Radio Gaga? WTFH?!) Phil Collins, Elton John, Bob Seger?! This is NOT rock music! And then the additions to the station?! Pat Benatar = Instant vomit, Starship = This is not ironic or funny; its bullsh*t. Even the songs like Baker Street, The Break-up Song, and Heartbeat are passable maybe two or three times before they become tiresome and just bad to listen to. Photograph, Rain, Fortunate Son (Have heard it ONCE on the radio), and Mississippi Queen (Still haven't heard it on the radio yet) are the songs that are actually GOOD and REPLAYABLE, 4 songs, and two of them had to be added in later, whoever is responsible for the music selection of the Los Santos Rock Radio must be depressed as Michael, so you know what, f*cking kill them and get someone who will actually make a rock station that doesn't make one literally physically ill. Non-Stop Pop FM - Inspires murderous disgust in a way that is not helpful for GTA V. Radio Los Santos - I really don't understand new rap, so much of it is out of rhythm it's just painful to listen to, I can stand the station if I play it as background music about 25% of the time, but I haven't heard anything new or old of the little that doesn't suck that it sticks out enough to make me check the song name. Channel X - Okay I have no idea what happened to the punk scene, there are a few songs I might hear when I'm buying guns that have a catchy lyric or something but I generally can't stand this station as a main radio station. I've always been a fan of old-school punk music, so that's pretty much that. Soulwax FM - It could have been a great station; if Rockstar hadn't been so goddamn f*cking lazy and sourced the entire station to ONE DJ. Really wtf, yes DJ's do release their music as artists, but generally if you go to a club or party with this type of music, the DJ will play all sorts of tracks from DIFFERENT ARTISTS!!! Isn't that sort of the point of radio? To have different artists in the genre type of the radio? Rebel Radio - Nothing specific about country music, I just can't stand it myself. East Los FM - Have actually heard a couple catchy songs at times when radio skipping, but it's just not to my tastes in music, that's all. West Coast Classics - Probably the station I will listen to the most when I actually play the radio, classic hip-hop music, good beats, some songs are a bit repetitive at times, but it can be decent to have on when I'm in the garage online. WCTR/Blaine County - Funny, once, after that it's annoying. All the previous GTA games had extensive talk stations, these are just... disappointing. The worst part is that given the genres of the stations, I could definitely see it have been possible for Rockstar to have retained the same radio-themes and not make them suck donkey balls. The soundtracks on the Saints Row 2 thru 4 would have been amazing for GTA V's themes. The rock station on SR2 took pop-hits from the 80's that EVERYONE knows because the song is good representation of that time/era and has been treated as such, plus its a good song. Tears for Fears - Everybody Wants to Rule the Word, that would have been the song for GTA Online to use while still retaining Michael's 80's reminiscent theme. Aha - Take on Me, Faith no More - Epic, Butthole Surfers - Pepper, Haddaway - What is Love? All these songs, even as pop songs people know and love these songs, why else would have Haddaway become a meme? San Andreas was a shining example of what to do for a soundtrack, what happened Rockstar? Radio Mirror Park was meant to be the station for Hipster music, not the entire goddamn soundtrack.

GTA isn't about gang wars anymore for the same reason Saints Row isn't (although, GTA is handling that a lot better these days): cause they are freaking boring. You're pretty much a one-man army in both games, gang wars are pointless since you could easily take out an entire gang by yourself. Come to think of it, that's pretty much all we've been doing in GTA and Saints Row. Sure you could recruit homies to help you, but they were hardly anything more than cannon fodder.
-
The garage system from saints row is way better than this one, come here fanboys, you know it's true

1.Play online with my friends 2.Go skydiving off the mountains 3.Look for wildlife 4.Look for sea life 5.Kill cannibals 6.Deliver hitchhikers to the Altruist camp 7.Ride mountains bikes near...the mountains 8.ride helicopters, planes, jets 9.Go for a drive with Chop 10.Call lamar and kill some ballas 11.Go to the hood( for literally about 30 seconds until i get bored and drive off) 12.Rampage mode with Trevor... there's so much stuff to do. I honestly think some of you just think it's cool to chill in the hood with your homies and then post the pics on this forum. There's no interacting with them, they dont follow you or get into your car. Please explain how you role play with the gang members...cause from what i seen they don't really do much. 1. Thanks for playing the leading reason, single player is declining and they cant bring out DLCs and other sensible fixes for the game. I have friends to play online with, its just very boring. I have tuned cars. I have money but its boring. we have to wait forever for something else to pop off online.. The only good thing to do online is CAR MEETS. missions repetitive. Ima leave it at this.. ONLINE is bullsh*t. 2. Okay Great for you... I bought a game called grand theft auto 5 which was suppose to be criminal based filled with heist because it suppose to be about the mighty dollar. I wanna do criminal activities not go sky diving off mountains. "GRAND THEFT AUTO". 3. I cant get you wrong here.. that sh*t is fun. Period. Ive seen wild animals attack each other but it wouldn't be as fun as watching a Vago and Balla attack each other while their homies get into it and it escalate. Once again - A crime based game - Not animals in the wild "Discovery channel-game". 4. Reread what i said above and exclude the part about the animals attacking each other. and you have the ocean. I really wanna swim around and explore. Great! 5. ???? Okay 6. I never bin interested with that Altruist Camp sh*t cause once again its not crime based. just another thing in the game that made me wonder... what the f*ck was rockstar thinking when they made this game. Who thought that sh*t would be cool for a game like "GRAND THEFT AUTO". 7. I do that too. Only so long before you crash, or get bored. 8. Go buy flight simulator and whatever else helicopter simulator and play that man. Don't get me wrong yeah they cool features to the game but it coulda been better ways to make flying a helicopter or plane fun. Maybe some more trafficking missions. 9. And what do you do with Chop? play fetch, make him attack people? and then what? 10. [/size]why you contradicting yourself? Thats exactly what you called "Chill in the hood with your 'boys' as franklin"" brah before you come on this thread with your judging bullsh*t, understand that we wouldn't have to be roleplaying IF the right criminal activities (Robberies, Extortions, Heist, Drive bys, drug dealing, drug smuggling, kidnap and more) WAS IN THE GAME BUT NO - YOGA, TRIATHLON, TENNIS, FLYING UNDER BRIDGES, FINDING PIECES OF PAPERS, NOW FINDING A PLANT TO TRANSFORM INTO A ANIMAL ------ ARE YOU SERIOUS??? BUT THIS SUPPOSE TO BE "GRAND THEFT AUTO". 11. your right here, the hood is boring, you know why? No police chases (On Foot) , No random crackheads fighting, No drug deals, No Robberies, NO DRIVEBYs, NO gang warfare of no kind. If this was happening, like dynamically , you would feel like sh*t is actually happening in the hood. 12. I could never understand why trevor had rampages against gangs and not franklin. I completed these and never played em again. 1 Vs 20+ in god mode sorta? Im good ill pop in Saints row 3 or 4 if i want some fiction sh*t. So you're allowed to role play with your boys but I can't role play with chop? At least you can interact with Chop, wtf can you do with the gang members? So let me get this straight... You guys go to the hood area, stand next to the gang members, take a picture...of franklin taking a picture...and then post it on the forum? Wheres the fun in that? You're literally standing next to npc's that don't even interact with you. At least with the activities i mentioned you're actually doing something. You said I'm contradicting myself because I go to the hood? Motherf*cker i go there to blow sh*t up and cause havoc. You only go there to take pics of your 'friends' can you see why I find this so strange?

10. why you contradicting yourself? Modding support varies - some games openly support it, and those are modded fairly easily, letting a modding community thrive. Then you get games which people say aren't worth the effort to mod. So I'm guessing they were asking for proper modding support, which would be nice. I don't see why. GTA modding wasn't supported even when GTA was singleplayer only, and yet it has one of the biggest modding communities ever, if not the biggest. All official support would do is give Rockstar the means to cash in and get away with delivering a poor quality game. Just look at Volition. Saints Row IV is nothing but a sci-fi reskin of Saints Row The Third with less content, more bugs, higher system requirements and weaker graohics. Yet they got away with it. Why? Cause they brainwashed everyone with the promise of a magic SDK that would allow the customers to turn that piece of sh*t around themselves. Same goes for... well pretty much every Elder Scrolls game ever. Skyrim in particular is still ridiculously buggy and poorly optimized, and yet...

I'd rather have a storage system like in Mafia II / Saints Row 2. It's not immersive but it works. What could be somewhat immersive are valet parking lots, where you tell the valet which of your 100 or so cars you want him to bring and he brings it? Or maybe one of those weird elevator parking lots they had in Tokyo Drift. As for the cars disappearing, did they say before the game's release that you could insure your cars and if you abandoned them they'd get impounded, and you could recover them for a fee? I never actually tried this...
