Hi all, no idea what's going on. For the past week or so, when I try to play GTA V either on or offline, I've noticed it will have lag which slowly worsens and shortly thereafter culminates in the computer freezing and spontaneously rebooting. Updated drivers and nothing improved. Windows 10, AMD FX 6300 processor, 16gig RAM, 2TB HD, NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 of 2gb, Yes the video card is factory and low-end, but it always ran adequately for GTA V. The machine is 1.5 years old. Some time ago, when I bought expansion packs for Ghost Recon Wildlands the game began to lag and became so severe I had to quit playing the game so obviously I need an upgrade of my card. But in the meantime, what can I do about this? I upgraded my driver this afternoon, got into a GTA V online lobby, and lasted less than 5 minutes before SHTF. It's done this daily when I try to play it for the past several days, rendering the game unplayable.

HI guys , I am new on this forum and I am from Slovakia so sorry for my en. I am having troubles with GTa V (PC GPU Nvidia GTX 560 CPU Intel core i 5 12GB of ram) Yesterday I quit the game normally when I came back and tryied to Play the GTA it was crashing (out of game memory please reboot and restart your game) After a while I disided to reinstall the game nothing changed CAN U HELP ME PLEASE?

Its telling me I have to reboot the system every time I try to buy body armor. How do I do that?

PC system- AMD-10 APU 2.3 GHz proccesor 6GB RAM 512 MB vram Now I know what your thinking "This guy has this problem because of his PC" NOO there's no possible way because, GTA 5 has ran at 20-30 Fps on story mode and Online since December!! I've never had an issue!! The issue is now my Game stops after 20-30 minutes of play in GTA online and story mode!! Ever since the San Andreas Sport Dlc update this has happened.. I've tried everything that YouTube has shown and it still doesn't work!! I've reinstalled the game twice... I've verified Game files twice and still it does the same thing.. I've also tried turning off all Anti virus, Restarted my pc, everything!!! I've wasted so much time trying to fix it... when before the update it was running great!! I just wish someone knew my issue... I'm using gta 5 without steam

I recently bought a new GPU, the ASUS Radeon R9 285 Strix OC 2GB and since then I have noticed my PC sometimes reboots suddenly. The first time was like after starting Windows and then it didn't happen again so I ignored it, but the last time was after few seconds (30-50 secs) after initiating GTA V and after that it rebooted again, and then again and so I closed it, otherwise, it would reboot once more. I am not sure what is probably causing this. When this happened on the "Prologue" mission my graphic settings were above VRAM, yet I know it's possible to run the game decently above the VRAM as long as the RAM is decent (mine is 8GB, I think it's enough right?) My GPU temp doesn't usually go above 71-72ºC while playing GTA V (it did go until 78ºC once I think), and I don't know my CPU temp. My question is can this be due to high CPU/GPU temperature or the PSU not having enough power to handle the GPU? However, I checked, and the minimum power for this GPU is 500W, yet my PSU has 600W. My specs: CPU: AMD FX 6300 3.5GHz Six Core RAM: 8GB GPU: ASUS Radeon R9 285 Strix OC 2GB Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 EVO R 2.0 PSU: 1Life 600W 120MM If anyone could help in telling me what could possibly be the issue, I'd be really appreciated EDIT: My sister was just on the PC and after 30 minutes or so, it rebooted and after starting Windows again, it rebooted again. It's not a matter of temperatures (as she wasn't doing anything temp demanding) or anything to do with GTA V for sure. I hope the GPU has no issue but I'm starting to think it can be some kind of conflict with another hardware component or the GPU itself with some kind of defect.

No one liked how the first one turned out (Sorry, Ezza) so I'm going to reboot the story. In this reboot, the events of the first Chain Story never happened so that means that characters like Arcade never existed. The Chain Story is also completely different from the IV Chain Story, so no crossover events. To take part in the story, all you have to do is write a portion of the story, whether it be a short paragraph or a freaking book-worth of input. The catch is that you need to continue the story from any of the choices left by the previous writer, and after you have finished your input you need to add 3-5 choices for the next writer. RULES: In The Event Of Death - Protagonists cannot die. They wake up immediately at the hospital. Other minor characters can die (see 'Fallcreek's Law). Antagonists die forever. Original Characters - Go for it. But it cannot be ridiculous. The writers will tell you when this rule applies. Fallcreek's Law - Any of the good-aligned characters can return from the dead after a full page has passed in between the death of the character and the rebirth. Carbonox's Law (Mutual Exclusivity) - This covers a hell of a lot. Firstly, if two writers continue from the same person, the first one gets the worm. However, the second writer does not have to forfeit his input in the story if he can find a way to link the first post with his. This cannot be achieved if a certain character dies. Second, if you wish to edit a certain part of a story, even if it has already been linked off from, you can do that as long as it doesn't affect the story drastically. When I try to buy body armor is says I must reboot the game to refresh the game catalog and try again. I hope there is a simple way to do this.

I have played GTA5 on my PC numerous times before and heavily modded versions of it before and on ultra settings and i've been about to run it and play it fine at a solid 60fps but I recently reinstalled my games because I wanted a fresh copy of the game and after a few weeks after the reinstall I finally decided to run the game again and whenever I click on Play story mode it loads for a little bit then this msg pops up but the game keeps loading in the background and idk if the game ends up loading or not but I just wanna know how to fix this popup my PC can definitely handle the game I've got an i7 6700K @4.5 GHz, MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr V, 16GB corsair vengeance 3000mhz ddr4 ram and i've ran it before on this pc with lots of mods and ultra before currently ive only got simple trainer asi loader and a few car addons installed and heres a screenshot of the error msg https://gyazo.com/c6c52aff9e9dd11542979dbc45fd7044

That IV and V era are not canon with III era does not mean there are no old characters coming back... Could they do a rebooted version of Donald Love or Phil Cassidy in the game. A modern version of the characters? And characters being killed in III era still alive in this universe? What do you think? Is there still hope old characters being back?

Take Two have announced it is after March, so have a pick at the release date

Should there be a reboot in the gta Series. By reboot not a new era, new locations, characters, and no mention of past cities. I don't think they should but i was wondering what people would think.(p.s im sorry if there is a topic about this if there is please lock)
